THE ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - DEUTERNOMY

The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.'

DEUTERONOMY

Chapter 1
1:3    that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the Lord had given him in commandment unto them    the Lord commanded;    God gives commandments;
1:6    The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount    And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to move;
1:8   Behold, I have set the land before you:  go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers. . . to give unto them and to their seed after them.    God set the land of promise before them to posses it and go in;   God promised Abraham and his seed to follow the land;   And God said/spoke;
1:10   The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.    God made them to grow,  to multiply just as He had said and promised.
1:11   The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you as He hath promised you!    God is able to make 1000X more;  God blesses;   God promises and keeps His promises;
1:17   for the judgment is God's   God is the Judge and gives the judgments to live by;
1:19   as the Lord our God commanded us    the Lord commanded;
1:20   which the Lord our God doth give unto us    God gives the land;
1:21   Behold, the Lord thy God hath set the land before thee, . . . as the Lord God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.    God has given and set the land before them to inherit;   And God said/spoke directive to them to fear not, nor be discouraged.
1:25   It is a good land which the Lord our God doth give us.   God gives the land and its bounty;
1:26   but rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God    the Lord commanded;
1:27   people murmured against God and accused Him of hating them and giving them into the hand of their enemy;
1:30   The Lord your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes    God goes before His people;  God shall fight for His people;  what God did to Egypt before their eyes - plagues and deliverance;
1:31   where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee;    God bears His children for all things;
1:33   Who went in the way before you , to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day    God goes before them in the cloud by day and night to lead them; to direct the way;
1:34   And the Lord heard the voice of your words and was wroth, and sware, saying,   God hears;  God is filled with wrath;  And God said/spoke;
1:35  which I sware to give unto your fathers    And God said/spoke;  God gives the land but God pronounces judgement on that generation that they should not enter into the promised land;
1:36   and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the Lord    God shall give the land to Caleb and to his children; promise from God;   because he wholly followed Him;
1:37   and the Lord was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.   God is angry;   And God said/spoke;
1:38    God foretells that Joshua shall lead them into the promised land;
1:39    and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it    God gives the land to their children;  takes away from one and gives to another;
1:40  God gives directive to go back into the wilderness.
1:41   according to all that the Lord our God commanded;   the Lord commanded;
1:42   And the Lord said unto me, . . I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to not go;  God is not among them, He has departed;  Omnscient - you will be smitten before your enemies;
1:43   the commandment of the Lord, and went presumptuously up into the hill.   the Lord commanded;
1:45    And ye returned and wept before the Lord; but the Lord would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.       God knows people return from disobedience before Him;  God would not listen nor hear their cries before Him and to Him;
Chapter 2
2:1   as the Lord spake    and God said/spoke;
2:2   And the Lord spake unto me, saying,   And God said/spoke;
2:3 - 4   God gives directive to go forward
2:5    for I will not give you of their land. . . because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.    I will's of God to give land to Esaua; and warned that He would not give it to Israel;
2:7    For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand:  He knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness:  these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.    God had blessed Israel and provided for them those 40 years;   God knows their steps and travels;   God has been with them and they lacked nothing.
2:9   And the Lord said unto me. . . for I will not give thee of their land for a possess; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.    And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to not give land to Israel, but God gave land to Moab;
2:12    which the Lord gave unto them    God gave Israel possession of land;
2:14    as the Lord sware unto them    And God said/spoke;   God said it would be so, and it was;
2:15   For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the host until they were consumed.    God's hand against them to destroy them and consume them;
2:17   That the Lord spake unto me, saying,   and God said/spoke;
2:19   I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon    because I have given it unto the children of Lot    God gives land to Lot, God forbids land to give to Israel;
2:21   but the Lord destroyed them before them   God destroyed them;
2:22   as He did to the children of Esau which dwelt in Seir, when He destroyed the Horims from before them    God destroyed the Horims and gave the land to Esau;
2:24    behold i have given into thine hand Sihon. . and his land    God gives the land to Israel and takes away from Sihon;
2:25    This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations     I will's of God to put dread and fear of Israel before nations;
2:29   which the Lord our God giveth us   God gives them the land;
2:30   for the Lord God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that He might deliver him into thy hand      God hardened his spirit and made his heart hard;  God delivered them into Israels hand;
2:31    And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give sihon and his land before thee:  begin to possess that thou mayest inherit his land.    And God said/spoke;   God gives enemy and land into their hand to possess;  God gives directive to possess the land;
2:33   and the Lord our God delivered him before us    God delivers enemy into their hands for victory;
2:36    the Lord our God delivered all unto us    God delivers them all unto Israel;
2:37   nor unto whatsoever the Lord our God forbad us   God forbids them from some places, people and land;
Chapter 3
3:2    And the Lord said unto me. . .I will deliver him. . .and his land into thy hand    And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to deliver enemy and land into their hand;
3:3    So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also    God delivers enemy into their hand;
3:18    The Lord your God hath given you this land to possess it    God gives the land to them to possess;
3:20    Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren. . .which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan    God gives rest and peace;   God give land;
3:21    thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings:  so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.   God smote and destroyed the two kings;  God is OMnipresent and shall do so for Joshua in the promised land to the nations;
3:22   and the Lord shall fight for you    God fights on behalf and for His people;
3:23   And I besought the Lord at that time    Moses came before the Lord seeking Him;
3:24    O Lord God, Thou hast begun to shew Thy servant Thy greatness, and Thy might hand:  for what God is there in heaven or in earth that can do according to Thy works, and according to Thy might?   Moses declares he sees the things of God;  God had begun to show Moses His greatness, His mighty hand; God of heaven and earth doing great works and great might;
3:26    But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me:  and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto Me of this matter.    God was wroth with Moses;  God would not hear him regarding his petition;  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to not speak of this again;
3:27   God gives Moses directive to go up into mount and see the land but he shall not go into the land.
3:28   God gives Moses directive to encourage and instruct Joshua;
Chapter 4
4:1    possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you    God gives the land;
4:2    that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God   the Lord commanded;
4:3   Your eyes have seen what the Lord did because of Baalpeor. . . the Lord thy God hath destroyed them from among you    God shows His people that they may see His deeds;  God destroyed wicked from among them;
4:4    But ye that did cleave unto the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day.    God preserves and gives life to those that cleave unto Him wholly;
4:5   even as the Lord my God commanded me    the Lord commanded;
4:7    for what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our Lord is in all things that we call upon Him for     God is nigh  and with those that call upon Him for His glory;
4:10    that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me. . .I will make them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.    God comes to His people;  And God said/spoke;   I will's of God to cause His people to hear His Word;  fear the Lord God; and directive to teach them to their children;
4:12    And the Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the fire, ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude only ye heard a voice.    And God said/spoke;  God reveals Himself by voice but not by sight;
4:13   And He declared unto you His covenant, which He commanded you to perform. . and He wrote them upon two tables of stone.   God declares covenant with people;   God commands them to perform His ways;   God wrote commandments upon stone;
4:14    And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you    the Lord commanded;
4:15    for ye saw no similitude on the day that the Lord spake unto you, in the midst of the fire;    and God said/spoke;  revealed Himself in the fire;
4;19    which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven    God made and divided sun among nations for all;
4:20    But the Lord hath taken you and brought you forth out of the iron furnace. . .to be unto Him a people of inheritance    God took them out of Egypt;  they are His people, His inheritance;
4:21    Furthermore the Lord was angry with me for your sakes and sware that I should not go over Jordan. . which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance     God was angry with Moses;  And God said/spoke;  God commanded Moses should not go over;   God gives land for an inheritance unto Israel;
4:23   lest ye forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which He made with you and make you a graven image. . .which the Lord thy God hath forbidden thee.   God made and entered into covenant with Israel  God gives directive to not make any graven image;   God forbids this;
4:24    For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.    God is a consuming fire;  God is Jealous, Name and attribute;
4:25    and shall do evil in the sight of the Lord thy God to provoke Him to anger    God sees the wickedness of their evil;   God is provoked with their sin to anger;  God is angry;
4:27    And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations. . .whither the Lord shall lead you    God scatters them for their sin among nations;  God leads them;
4:29    But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart sand with all thy soul     God watches and waits and draws those that would seek after Him;  God knows the heart that seeks Him with all their whole heart;  God allows them to find Him; seek & find;
4:30   if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice    God speaks His word;  God allows and desires for them to turn unto Him, and He will receive them;
4:31   For the Lord thy God is a mericful God;  He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.   God is merciful;  God does not forsake, but remains;  God does not destroy, but builds;  God does not forget, but holds forth;  and God said/spake/sware;
4:32    for since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?    God created man;   God does great things and nothing compares to it;
4:33   Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?   God spoke to them out of the fire on the mount;  and they heard and were not destroyed but lived;
4:34    God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation , by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes    God went and gathered and a nation as He had promised abraham in Egypt;   God did 10 plagues and mighty acts for their delvierance from Egypt;   God allowed and did it before their eyes.
4:35   that thou mightest know that the Lord He is God; there is none else beside Him    God is God; there is none else;  that men may know this truth of Him;
4:36    Out of heaven He made thee to hear His voice, that He might instruct thee:  and upon earth He shewed thee His great fire; and thou heardest His words out of the midst of the fire.    God spoke to them out of heaven;  God revealed Himself by fire here on earth before them;  God spoke to them and they heard Him, for He gave them instructions;
4:37    And because He loved thy fathers, therefore He chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in His sight with His mighty power out of Egypt.   God loved; God choose;  God brought them out;  God saw them;  God did mighty powerful deeds in this;
4:38    To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land, for an inheritance, as it is this day.    God drives out the enemy before them;   God brings them;  God gives them the land;
4:39    Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath;  there is none else.   God is God above in heaven, and beneath int he earth and there is none else;
4:40    Thou shalt keep His statutes, His commandments. . that it may go well with thee and thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.    God gave statutes and commandments;   God is able to go with them;  God is able to prolong their days;   God gives them the land;
Chapter 5
5:2   The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.   God makes a covenant with Israel in Horeb.
5:3   The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.    God made covenant with fathers and them for His purpose and His people;
5:4    The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire.    God talked with them face to face from the mount;   from the fire;
5:5    I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to shew you the word of the Lord, saying,     And God said/spoke His Word;  Moses stands before the Lord ;
5:6    I am the Lord thy god which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.    God is the Lord God and their God;   God brought them out of Egypt;
5:7 - 9   God gives command about false gods being made and worshipped;
5:9    for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity. . . of them that hate Me    God is jealous; HIs Name is Jealous;  God visits the sin of the people upon them and their generations;  God knows those that hate Him;
5:10    And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.    God is mercy and shows mercy to those that love Him;  God knows those that love Him and for they keep His commands;
5:11    Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain:  for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain.    God's Name is holy;   God's Name not to be spoken in vain;  God will hold them guilty that do such;
5:12    as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.    the Lord commanded;
5:14    But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God:   God rested on the seventh day , it is the Lord's Day of sabbath;
5:15    that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm;  therefore the Lord thy God commanded     the Lord commanded;   God brought them out of Egypt;  God's hand was mighty and God's arm was stretched out to work wonderfully;
5:16    as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee, that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.    the Lord commanded;   God is able to make it go well with obedient;   God gives the land to them;
5:17 - 21    God commands His people;
5:22    These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly . . . with a great voice; and He added no more.  And He wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.    And God said/spoke;   God's voice was great;   God wrote the commandments on stone;  God delivered/gave them unto Moses;
5:23    when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness     And God said/spoke;  God's people hear God's voice;
5:24    Behold the Lord our God hath shewed us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire:  we have seen this day that God doth talke with man, and He liveth.      God showed His glory and His greatness to the people;  they heard and saw God;   God spoke to them and they heard His voice out of the fire;   God talks with men and they live;
5:25 - 26    God's voice is rejected by people for they do not want ot hear it for they fear for their lives.
5:27    Go thou neaer, and hear all that the Lord our God shall say:  and speak thou unto us all that the Lord our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it and do it.    God allows His people to draw near unto Him and to hear Him;   And God said/spoke;   God gives His Word that they may hear it and do it;
5:28    And the Lord heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the Lord said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee;  they have well said all that they have spoken.     God hears the words of His people;  Omniscient;   And God said/spoke;   God declares their words well;
5:29   O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear Me, and keep all My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever.    God declares His desire that they had a right heart; that they would fear Him; that they would keep His commandments, the Lord commanded;  God reveals that to such it goes well with them and their children.
5:30    Go say to them    God sens Moses to speak and give directive from Him to them;
5:31    But as for thee, stand thou here by Me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, . . .which I give them.    God gives directive to Moses to draw near to Him, hear Him and reveal words ot the people;    I will's of God to speak His ways to them;  God gives them the land to possess it;
5:32   Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you; ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.    the Lord commanded;   God decalres that they shall keep them and do them and not turn to the right or left;
5:33    Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.    God gives directive for them to walk in His ways;  the Lord commanded;   God promises   that if they keep His commands, they shall live, go well with them; days prolonged in the land and they shall possess it.
Chapter 6
6:1    Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you     the Lord commanded;
6:2    That ye might fear the Lord thy God . . . that thy days may be prolonged.    God requires for us to fear the Lord;   God is able to prolong our days;
6:3    that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee    And God said/spoke a promise that He would increase them and it would be well with them if they kept His ways;
6:4    Hear, O Israel:  The Lord our god is one Lord:    God is Lord and there is only One Lord and God;
6:5    And thou shalt love the Lord thy God    God is love and to be loved in all our ways;
6:10   and it shall be when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which He sware unto thy fathers. . . to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildest not     God brings them into the promised land;   And God said/spoke/sware unto forefathers to do;  God gives them great and good cities to live in;
6:11  God gives wells; vineyards , eat and be full from God's good mercy;
6:12    Then beware lest thou forget the Lord which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage    God brought them out of Egypt and He is not to be forgotten, but all His ways remembered;
6:13   Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God and serve him, and shalt swear by His Name.   God is to be feared and served;
6:15    For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.     God is jealous; Jealous ; God is angry and kindled against the wicked and disobedient;   God is able to destroy and remove from off the face of the earth.
6:16   Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God as ye tempted Him in Massah.   God is not to be tempted, nor is tempted;
6:17   keep the commandments of the Lord. . . which He hath commanded thee.   the Lord commanded (2);
6:18   And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord that it may be well with thee. . .which the Lord sware unto thy fathers.   God sees the actions of men whether they be good or evil;  God rewards such actions;   And God said/spake/sware;  God fulfills word promised to fathers;
6:19    To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.   And God said/spoke;  God cast out enemies from before ;
6:20   which the Lord our God hath commanded you    the Lord commanded;
6:21   the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand    God brought them out of Egypt by His mighty hand/arm;
6:22   The Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt. . . before our eyes    God showed mighty deeds and wonders and men saw them;
6:23    And He brought us out from thence, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He sware unto our fathers.  God brought them out to bring them in;  God gives the land;   And God said/spoke/sware;
6:24   And the Lord commanded . . . to fear the Lord our God . . that He might preserve us alive   the Lord commanded;   fear the Lord;   God might preserve us alive;

6:25   before the Lord our God, as He hath commanded us.    God sees and knows the responses of men that is before Him;  the Lord commanded;
Chapter 7
7:1   When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land, whither thou goest to possess it and cast out many nations before thee    God brings you into the promised land;  God allows for you to possess the land by casting out the enemies, 7 nations great than you;  God cast them out;
7:2    And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee    God is able and will deliver the enemy into their hands;
7:4    For they will turn away thy son from following Me, that they may serve other gods:  so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.    God knows that they will turn their sons from following Him;  Omniscient;  God's anger will be kindled and He will destroy them suddenly;
7:6    For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God:  the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto Himself    God is Holy, and His people are to be holy;   God has chosen them as a special people for Himself above all the rest of the world;
7:7    the Lord did not set His love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people;    God did not set His love nor choose them because they were many;
7:8    But because the Lord loved you, and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand; and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Phraoah king of Egypt.    God love you; God would keep His oath to Abraham and fathers;  God brought you out with a mighty hand;  God redeemed you from Egypt;
7:9    Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand  generations:    God is God;  God is faithful;  God keeps covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments;
7:10    And repayeth them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them:  He will not be slack to him that hateth Him, He will repay him to his face.     God repays them that hate Him to their face;  God is not slack to judge and punish those that hate HIm;
7:12    that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which He sware unto thy fathers.   God will keep covenant with those that hearken and obey Him;  God gives mercy;  and God said/spoke/sware;
7:13    And He will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee:  He will also bless. . . which He sware unto thy fathers to give thee.   I will's of God to love, bless, and multiply;   I will's of God to bless facets of life;  And God said/spoke/sware;  God give to them;
7:14    thou shalt be blessed above all people    God blesses;
7:15   And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.    I will's of God to take away all disease;   God puts them upon enemies that hate thee;
7:16   And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee,    God shall deliver the enemy into thine hands, and thou shalt be delivered from them;
7:18   but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt    God gives directive through Moses to remember what mighty things God did to Pharaoh and Egypt;
7:19   the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out:  so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.     God's hand, stretched out arm and mighty sign & wonders that God employed and brought them out of Egypt;  God will do it to all those that you are afraid of;
7:20   Moreover the Lord thy God will send the hornet among them, until they are . . . destroyed.    I will's of God to send hornet to destroy enemy from before them;
7:21    for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.    God is among His people;  God is mighty and terrible in all His ways;
7:22    And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee    I will's of God to put out nations from before Israel;
7:23    But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction until they be destroyed.    God delivers enemies unto His people;  God destroyed with a mighty destruction to destroy them all;
7:24    And He shall deliver their kings into thine hand. . . there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.    God delivers kings into their hands;  God will not allow any man to stand before them, but they shall be destroyed;
7:25    for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God    God declares what is an abomination unto Himself; Idolatry;

32:4     He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are judgements:  a God of truth and without iniquity; just and right is He.    God's Name is Rock;  God's work is perfect;   God's ways are just and judgements upon the people;  God is truth just and right  and there is no iniquity in Him;
32:5     their spot is not the spot of His children    God's children are without spot;
32:6     Do ye thus requite the Lord?  is not He thy father that hath bought thee?  hath He not made thee, and established thee?    God is not to be requited;  God is father; God purchased them;   God made them;   God established them;
32:8     When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.     God divided the nations in their inheritance;   God separated the sons of Adam;  God set number of people and number of children of Israel;
32:9     For the Lord's portion is His people; Jacob is the lot of His inheritance.    God's people are His portion among the nations;  God's inheritance is Jacob;
32:10    He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness;  He led him about, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.    God found them in the desert;  God led them and instructed them;  God kept them as the apple of His eye;
32:12     So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.    God lead them alone;
32:13     He made him ride on the high places of the earth. . . He made him to suck honey out of the rock and oil out of the flinty rock.    God made them ride high in the earth; God made them to enjoy abundance of honey out of rock, oil out of rock;
32:15     then he forsook God which made him and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation     God was forsaken by His Own people;   Rock was lightly esteemed;
32:16     They provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they Him to anger.    God's was provoked to jealousy;  God was provoked to anger for their abominations;
32:17     They sacrificed unto devils, not to God     God did not receive the sacrifices and offerings that was due Him;
32:18    Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.    God begat them;   God's people have forgotten Him and been unmindful of Him;  God formed them;
32:19    And when the Lord saw it, He abhorred them because of the provoking    God saw their sins;  God abhorred them;   God was provoked by their actions;
32:20     And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.       And God said/spoke;   I will's of God that He will hide His face;  I will's of God to see what shall become of them without Him;   God declares who and what they are, forward and no faith.

32:27     Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy. . . Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this.    God knows the vainity and pride of the enemy to assume their hand did it, rather than the hand of God;
32:28     For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.    God's Omniscient of who they are;
32:30     except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?    God's Name is Rock;  God sold them; God shut them up into the hand of the enemy;
32:31     For their rock is not as our Rock     God's Name is Rock;
32:34     Is not this laid up in store with Me, and sealed up among My treasure?    God lays in store blessings and cursings;   God seals up His treasures;
32:35     To Me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time:  for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.    God holds and commits vengeance and recompence upon them;   God knows the time;  Omniscient of what shall be;  Omnipresent;

32:37     And He shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted?    And God said/spoke;  God shall ask them
32:39     See now that I , even I, am He, and there is no god with Me:  I kill, and I make alive, I wound, and I heal:  neither is there any that can deliver out of My hand.     God is God and there is none else;  God kills and makes alive;  God wounds and heals;  God's hand is too strong for any to deliver from Him;
32:40     For I lift up My hand to heaven and say, I live for ever.     And God said/spoke;  God declares that He lives for ever - Immortal, Eternal;

32:49     Get up into this mountain. . which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession    God gives directive to Moses to go up and see the promised land;  God gives the land to Israel for a possession;
32:50     And die int he mount whither thou goest up and be gathered unto thy people as Aaron was gathered unto his people.    God declares that he shall die there, as Aaron died;   Omnsient; Omnipresent;
32:51     Because ye trrespassed against Me among the children of Israel . . .because ye sanctified Me not in the midst of the children of Israel.    God knows those that trespass against Him and sanctify Him not;   God requires from them;
32:52     Yet thou shalt see the land before thee, but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.     God allows for him to see the land, but not go over;   God gives the land to Israel;
Chapter 33
33:1     And this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.    God knows and marks His men with this title, the man of God;
33:2     The Lord came from Sinai, and ruose up from Seir unto them;  He shined forth from mount Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints:  from His right hand went a fiery law for them.    God comes/came to His people;  God rose up before them;  God shined among them;  God's right hand brought fiery law;

33:10      They shall teach Jacob Thy judgments, and Israel Thy law;  they shall put incense before Thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon Thine altar.     God's judgements, law are to be taught to His people and followed;   God receives incense and sacrifice offered unto Him;
33:11      Bless Lord,     God blesses and gives to His children;
33:12     the beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long and he shall dwell between His shoulders.     God's beloved are protected;  God covers them;   God secures His children and bears them up;

33:27     The eternal God is thy refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms:  and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.     God is eternal;  God is thy refuge;  God's arms are underneath and hold and care for His people;  And God said/spoke;  God thurst out enemies from before them;   God decalred for the enemy to be destroyed;
