PRAYER PARTNERS - MAY 31; 24/7 PRAY CHAIN

Greetings,

"But I give myself unto prayer"  Psalm 109:4

We come to a close of 5 months for this year of 2018.  During theses 5 months we have seen heightened remedial judgements of God upon our nation, upon the church and upon many families.  In the face of these calamities we have seen a slight response by the church to combat our great need as a nation, and as the church.  And due to the slight response by the church the remedial judgements will continue and, I fear increase.

First, I am concerned about your walk with the Lord.  I would know from you, 'is it well with your soul?'   Are you walking in oneness with Him?

--I would ask of you of Bible reading -- for herein is our constant source of knowing and hearing God's Word and its impact on us and through us for His glory.
--I would ask of your prayer life --  in 5 months of this year, has it deepened?  have you prevailed?  or has it been wavering, weak and weary?
--I would ask of your witness  --  have you shared the Gospel in 5 months?  each month?  each week?  several times in the week?   Or do you stand ashamed and silent while billions go to hell?
--I would ask of your service to His kingdom in the church and through the church  --  are you a faithful, strong pillar of the church?  or have you been unfaithful and more worldly than spiritual?

I would tell you that there are many that are talking about prayer these days.  I am grateful for that which I have heard and seen and been a part of .  But this much I know, there must be multiplied efforts in these days for what we are facing.  'Saying' prayer, as is often done, will not prevail with God.   The characteristics of prevailing prayer is: desperate; urgent and fervent.  ARe these found among your prayer life and the prayer life of the church?

The 2 subjects that I have been bringing before the prayer partners is the SBC June meeting in Dallas and the Sermonindex Conference in October.   These are two events that will determine our fate after they meet.   A spirit of prevailing before these meetings will cause these meetings to be Divine.   A failure to prevail before these meetings will cause them to be just that, a failure.   I am not accepting of this, and I am moved by His Spirit to prevail.  I am resolved and renewed in my pursuit of these moments;  will you join me?

Yet, I know that the circumstances facing the church, our nation and our future is found in our response before God.  Our sins have greatly increased and continued in our nation and the church.  Too many hearts have unconfessed sin and fail and are ignorant in dealing with the specifics that have provoked the Lord to anger.   In personal times, church times, and corporate meeting times there must be a given time to deal with this properly.   But we are too busy, self consumed with our agenda rather than God's and the moments are missed.   We will never know till we get to eternity of how many Divine moments we missed because we missed God when He was directing us to humble ourselves, seek Him, confess before Him and renew in Him and by Him.

I am coming to you in this letter to appeal to you to consider joining me for these next months in deeper prayers and fastings.   The increase of remedial judgements the last two weeks have been alarming and I sense that in June we shall greater destruction and death for our neglect and refusal to seek Him with all our hearts.  The signs of these remedial judgements I share and speak often to point to God's judgement on us for our iniquity:
--drug epidemic;
--murder-suicide;
--police officers shot & killed;
--school/church/mass shootings;
--pestilence;

These have been the plagues on our nation for years now.  I hear little addressing the cause of these remedial judgements by the church.   But let there be n doubt, our sins have grieved and angered God and we are in serious times.  Because of His wrath that has gone out against us, everything in our existence is in jeopardy of being lost:
--religious freedom;
--health;
--future;
--blessings;
--safety;

In one fell swoop God can easily remove all this.  'Suddenly'  is that which is not foreseen, but God sends it as punishment for our neglect.  Therefore, knowing that God can, may and will do this to our nation and to the church, I also know that He has made a way for us to correct this.   He requires of us:
--Humble yourselves;  the great pride of our nation/& church & hearts must be put down;  He, and He alone must be waited upon and feared;  Look not to your own right hand, but Look unto Jesus;  Pride must be identified, humanism and all this and we must be humble before Him, Whom we have greatly offended.
--Seek Him;  a faithful spirit of worship, trust, fear, and love to draw to Him each day, moments each day and do all that is required of us to please Him;  obedience is found in this;
--Cleanse our hands and hearts;   We must know specifically wherein is our high offense; recognize it, confess it and repent of it;   With a renewed passion to remain in His Spirit and cleansed by His blood;  Perfection in Him and through Him;   How can He use or bless unclean vessels?
--Endued with power from on high;   Spirit filled lives is what makes all the difference.  Testimony and history have proved this time and again.  'Go into Jerusalem and wait until you be endued with power from on high';   Prayer and waiting and asking for the filling of the Holy Ghost;  And then to rise up in His power and strength and go forth and reap and bear fruit for His glory.

With so much at stake, and such desperate times I implore you to consider your response as we close this month and start into our summer months and to finish this year.   We are asking of you to join us in daily prayer for these spiritual issues that are upon us in our 24/7 prayer chain.   copy and past this web address to go and sign up for an hour each day, 1/2 hour/ or 15 minutes:

Other appeals from me to you:
1.  Call to Fall is a great opportunity for corporate churches to have focused prayer times and a opportunity to have a solemn assembly.  FRC started this years ago, and it is the first Sunday of July.
2.  Monday night prayer call for Revival with Edgar Reich at 9 PM (est);  Doug Small prayer call on Saturday nights at 9PM (est);  are a few example of joining others for prayer calls;
3.  Fasting - there is no greater need today that we prevail than to be serious about times before the Lord;  fasting leads us to the needed response;  I am asking you to join me on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month to fast as you are able in food and/or drink for God's mercy and help;

The hour is late and the need is great.  Please respond brethren while we have time.  We are running out of time.

PRAYER BLOG - MAY 28

Greetings,

"For now I will stretch out My hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence;  and thou shalt be cut off from the earth."  Exodus 9:15

I'm coming through my word/phrase study of "The Activity of God - Exodus", and here as God is bringing forth the plagues upon Egypt, I come to this verse.  It is a verse that is repeated in several other spots throughout the Bible.  The wickedness of nations, kings, people, individuals and His church that God ushers such a severe warning, "I will judge you, and then I will cut you off and remove you from the earth."  This is only the 6th plague, there are still 4 to go, but by the time the 10th plague comes, death has come, and they have been judged, and they have been cut off from the earth for their disobedience and wickedness.

God warns, and the people respond, or fail to respond rightly before the Lord.  It is my prayer and thought process of our current plight in 3 areas:  Nation (US);  Church (SBC)   and our future.
The warnings of remedial judgements have come, and they have increased and been much upon us, just like the plagues of Egypt.  Judgement of God against our land (naturally), calamities of floods, storms, wildfires, earthquakes, and volcanoes.  Judgement against man (naturally), of pestilence of addictions, cancer, disease, and have only increased.  Judgements against man (mentally), of addictions, lusts, lasciviousness,  evil acts, abuse, apathy, neglect and hardened hearts.  Judgements against the church (spiritually) of increasing sin among the body; carnal; unbelief; prayerlessness; Word-less;  pride; humanism; and not whole hearted to the Lord.  In all these things that God has brought upon us by remedial judgements, it is of our own choices and lack of hearing Him calling us to confess, repent and return unto Him with a whole heart of surrender.

and now, because He has warned, and we have not heeded, now reap that which is set into motion of being cut off from the earth.  I think our greatest warning came last fall when we had back to back hurricanes, which had never happened before, plus other judgements of mass shooting in October.  The warning and pleading I did to SBC and prayer leaders to respond, and their failure to heed, has only precipitated the increase of school shootings, police shooting, mass shooting, drugs, etc.  We should have heeded to the call to humble ourselves, repent, confess and recognize wherein our high offense against the Lord is and was and changed course of actions.  And now we are threatened in the next generation and near future of being cut off from the earth.  How?  You say;  it has now been self-evident of our own self-annihilation:

--US population - 330 million;  in order to continue existence, where 1 is born and 1 dies, more than likely that is not self-suffecient to maintain population and growth;  a healthy state is 1 dies, 3 is born (or 2);  we are now under this, 1 dies, .08 is born;  this is not sustainable for civilization existence;  we are phasing out of existence;  Due to:
---abortions estimated since 1973 - 60 - 70 million;
--cancer and major disease - 1 million per year;
--drugs/suicide - 100,000 of gnerally the younger generation, thus removing the generation that reproduces for a nation;

What you see here is the removal of a nation, due to directly to our sin against God.  By our own hand of abortion, addictions and sinfulness, we are now under the needed reproduction of a nation to continue to grow and reproduce.  We have removed an entire generation by abortion.  And the generation remaining, being lost and sinful and vile, they cut themselves off by drug OD's, and suicides.   Thus, at this continued rate in 3 to 4 generation in our near future, our nation, will phase out in reproduction.

Russia and Europe started this self-destruction as well, but they have generally been saved by immigrants, as we may also be.  These immigrants are Muslims,  and they will repopulate our nations with their false religions.    So we are in a dreadful place, of not only being cut off from the earth for our future generations of children and grand children and great grand children, but to be replaced by the anti-Christ of hell, Islam.   Without a major response by the church in repentance, restoration and revival from God's hand of mercy and grace, this is the path we are on.  And only God can work it for His purpose, will and Name sake.

I am not prepared to let this happen.  Thus, the Lord, by His Holy Spirit, gives me an urgent pleading of His power and Presence needed for the church.  For long before our population issues become an issue of greater importance, the church will have lost its freedoms, impact, voice and moral compass.  'Unless you repent I will come and remove your candlestick'.  the church, and my SBC, is on the brink of this.   surely you know had, Hillary Clinton, won the presidency, we would be further down the road of 'cut off from the earth' for the evil of these people in abortion, LGBT, abominations being legalized, all as provocations before the Lord.  We have been given a short window of grace.  Last fall, was our warning shot over the bow.  We heard it, we knew it, but too many church and prayer leaders didn't know what to do about it.  And my calls for immediate calls to solemn assemblies and right response before the Lord by God's people was not heeded.

Was it the right response?
1.  Sins of the nation, the church, the family, the heart must be identified in Scripture as our own sins;  'We have done this';  'I have done this'.   Name the sin and the offense against the Lord;
2.  Confession and repentance of these sins;
3.  Renewed vows and surrender before the Lord in our priorities, habits, lifestyles, choices and decisions.  'Take heed and do it'
4.  Revival - Spirit filled, empowered by the Holy Ghost anointing and fresh wave of power, holiness and hunger for the things of God to be restored and revived among God's people.   There is no other option now, but unless God intervenes for blessing instead of cursing.

How is this to be done?
1.  Each local church should hold forth a solemn assmelby.
2.  Each region/assocation of churches coming together in a city, county surrounding area for such a gathering.
3.  Each state convention should hold an annual time to address this and come together to seek for their own state, coutnies, cities, populations.
4.  Our convention, SBC, which only meets 1 times a year for generally 2 - 4days of the Pastor's Conference and/or SBC meeting.   In this allotted time it is a time of prayer and hosting a solemn assembly.   Years gone by when I pleaded for that Tuesday night to be used for such purposes, they dismissed for 'family' time, 'Vacation' time and fellowship.  Then they hosted the 'movie' times.  Very grateful that Ronnie Floyd had prayer time.   But now, with all the most recent fall out of sin revealed, the time of deep examination of who we are, what we are doing, and Whose we are should be brought forth to restore us to holiness, faithfulness and Anointed by His Spirit to finish the task.

But this much is certain, yes, I believe another revival is coming to the church.  This is to purify and restore holiness among His bride.  Last of the elect and nations to hear and be saved and engrafted into the tree.   But a greater onslaught before the final judgment of man and earth unfolds as we see in Revelation.  But what I don't know or is unforseen is whether we will still be her or not.  will God meet the US church?  will He spare us?  or shall we be cut off due to our sin, just like Judah was in II Chronicles 36?   These are the things I ponder and wonder.

But whatever God does is right.  'Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"  Yes He will and has!   But I , and you, while we have time are able to seek and call upon Him for mercy, restraint, help, revival.   And we must do it with the utmost urgency, fervency for this time of emergency.  Time is not a bonus for us;  time is running out and the increase of judgements on our nation and the church are clear signs of this.   But the response of the people, especially His church does not meet the right response to please God.  There is prayer, but there is not repentance, there is not humbleness.

God has given us a warning.  He has told us what we must do in a right response to Him and for Him.   But we have not done it, therefore our sin still remains.   I read this morning of Achan and his sin and God told Joshua: "Get up off the ground ,there is sin in the camp;  Put away the sin and I will go with you against your enemies"  Are we not here?

PRAYER TARGETS:
 For the past month of May we have seen an heightened increase in remedial judgements that are warnings to us to recognize and repent of.   Here are the remedial judgemtns that we engage in prayer for preventive prayers that 'who knows if the Lord will hear and return and leave a blessing behind Him for us"  --
-cops being shot;  Baltimore cop shot and killed;  SC officer run over and killed;
--school shootings;  those lilke Santa Fe that lost lives; but more alarming is those that were thwarted and stopped before greater calamity happened, these are on the increase;
--diseases;
--war;  imminent;  spiritual awakening among soldiers for salvation before death in time of war and terrorism;
--economy;  collapse;  electric - internet - hackers and national terrorism  these only continue to increase and heighten as a means of collapsing society;
--North Korea talks  --  this is not about nuclear nation, but this is about the borders opening for missions to finally be allowed for Light to shine in this evil, dark place;
--Iran/China increase of evil activity;
--supreme court rulings on LGBT, religious freedom are set to be revealed in the next month;   what I learned was that multiple states, and other courts are inundated with mass amount of cases pushing LGBT agenda;  they will not stop till they make their way normal;
--SBC - meeting in Dallas, is so important;   their lack of response is root cause in all this;  failure to respond pushes us forward to our candlestick being removed;
--Sermonindex Conference in October;

UPDATES:
--bible reading up through Joshua 12;
--The Activity of God - Exodus"  up through Exodus 10;
--sermons from Sunday uploaded - 'Making Memorials as Inidivudals' - Acts 10;
--A Word - Isaiah 53:   started into this and need to finish up the many that have been started;
--24/7   prayer chain is in need of you to join us and sign on;  for what I have shared with you here, everything is at stake and only a prevailing spirit of prayer will see God's Divine power and hand of mercy;   failure to pray and prevail forfeits ground to Satan and the end result of our removal;

Until,
dan

PRAYER BLOG - MAY 19, 2018

Greetings,

"and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed."  Exodus 17:11

Why did the Texas school shooting in Santa Fe, and why the shooting in GA happen yesterday?  Why does abortions continue?  Why does the LGBT agenda continue to advance?  Why does the church grow more powerless and more unholy?  Why does Christianity continue to shrink in Europe and North America?

To all the other questions of 'why', and there are many more questions to be asked of this day and time.  The answer to that question is found in Exodus 17:11.   The Amalekites had come to attack Israel as they came up out of Egypt.   I did a study of the Amalekites in all the Bible a while ago.  These were the pawns of Satan to attack, assault, to destroy, to kill the children of God.  Even though the tribe people of Amalek are no more found, the devil never misses out on using a nation, a people, a movement as a means to assault and attack the children of God.   Any that you see come against the church, the children of God, or the ways of God is the same as these heathen, ungodly, vessels of hell, the Amalekites.

And when they come, the time of warfare, spiritual warfare is at hand.  I have often preached, taught Paul's words to Timothy, 'war a good warfare'.  Oh, brethren, I confess to you, that in these past days, knowing that the amalekites were coming, I was not prepared, nor watchful.  All of our prayer targets are means that Satan uses, allowed by God due to our nation/church sins for remedial judgements are consistent.  We see the murder-suicides, the drug epidemic, the cancer epidemic, the family demise, laws and judicial edicts, and natural disasters all heightening due to our provoking the Lord.  And because God and holiness is removed from our midst, for God and sin cannot co-exist, the wrath of God upon our sins is experienced and permitted.      For years I have seen these repeated judgements and prayed toward this end, 'in wrath, O God, remember mercy'.  For I still believe that the US, the church in North America has the potential, the means, the ability to complete the task of the great commission.

Yet, our carnal, sinful lifestyles have choked, robbed us of that which is most needful -- the Powerful, Presence of God.  We let our hands down.  I let my hands down. Each morning I take my boys to school and on our way there we pray.  Almost every day, that preventive prayer against school shootings is offered up for safety and 'deliver them from evil'.  But every day this year that there has been a school shooting, that me and my boys have not prayed in the morning going to school for no other reason, than sheer laziness, sloth, on that day, there has been a school shooting.  So how else can I say it, but my failure in prayer for God's restraint and mercy allows for evil to prevail.  Allows for the Amalekites to prevail against the children of God.  Oh, the shame in this and the understanding of how much more we could do but have not done, because our hands are let down.

And will it not be revealed, will it not be shown us that every time our hands dropped down, Satan and evil prevailed.  Which would lead us to the assumption that evil can only advance and prevail, when God's children cease to pray.  But it may be truer than what most believe, of how much prayer is intricate with the affairs of this life and men.  History is defined as hands lifted and prevailing;  or hands dropping down and evil prevailing.  In this one truth is the call for us to pray, and much more than just pray but pray so as to prevail.  And brethren, we are not prevailing.  I go back to Ravenhill's statement: "God does not answer prayer;  God answers DESPERATE prayer"   and I agree.  Yes, I know the Word of God, and the truths  'ask, and it shall be give'; 'call and I will answer'  'pray'   but too many jusitfy themselves of 'praying' and yet evil multiplies.  so much so that I am convinced that, yes pray;  but how do you pray?   People are praying but they are not fulfilling the rest of those directives on prayer.  Which are:  "pray without ceasing';  ''the fervent prayer of a righteous man";  'urgent'  'desperate - 'Give me children lest I die'    In these is found a more profound way of praying.  This is a difference brethren, and we cannot just assume that because we are praying that all is well.  When we see the headlines we know this to not be true.  Therefore, don't let your hands down brethren, lest evil prevail.

Remedy:
Learning and confessing of this folly before the Lord leads me to do 1 thing - PRAY.  Resolved to enter in to more prayer times.  Now this is not just 'saying' prayers, but it is to pray the specifics that God reveals His heart and will in these public and private matters of our nation, church, familiy and our own hearts.  Resolved not to let hands down so enemy prevails.

ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - EXODUS

The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.'

EXODUS
Chapter 1
1:17  but the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.   the fear of the Lord;
1:20   therefore God dealt well with the midwives:  and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.  God deals well with His faithful;  God multiplies and makes mighty;
1:21  And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that He made them houses.   the fear of the Lord;  God establishes their lineage, makes them houses.  God blesses and preserves.
Chapter 2
2:23   Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.   God receives the prayers of the saints;  God sees the tears and hears the cries of the broken;
2:24   And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.  God hears the groans of His people;  God remembers His covenants and promises;
2:25   And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.   God looks upon His children and watches over them and watches them;  God has respect unto His Own, for He makes them worthy;
Chapter 3
3:1   he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.   God made the mountains, they are God's creation;
3:2   And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush:  and he looked and , behold the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  God appears by fire in the bush to Moses;  God is able to set fire, yet not consume the bush;  Nothing is too hard for God;
3:4  And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses.  And he said, Here am I.  God sees him;  God calls him;
3:5  And He said, Draw not nigh hither:  put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.   And God said/spoke;  God is holy;  God gives directive to Moses;
3:6  Moreover He said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.   And God said/spoke;  The Name of God -I AM God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  fear of the Lord;
3:7   And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason fo their taskmasters; for I know their sorrow.   and God said/spoke;  God sees affliction of His people;  God hears their cries of sorrow;  God knows their pain;
3:8  And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hititites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivities, and the Jebusites.  God comes down;  God delivers out of the hand of the enemy;  God brings them up out of the land to the promised land;  The earth is the Lord's and the fullness of it.
3:9  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto Me:  and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.  And God said/spoke command for Moses to to;  God hears and sees the oppression and cries of His people;
3:10  Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.   And God said/spoke command to Moses;  I will's of God to send Moses to deliver the people out of the hand of Pharaoh;  God's people to be brought out to bring in;
 3:12   And HE said, Certainly, I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee:  When thou hast brought froth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.  And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to promise to be with him;  God sends men;  God foretells the future that they shall return to this mount when they come out of Egypt;
3:14   And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:  and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM  hath sent me unto you.   Name of God - I AM;  And God said/spoke (2);  God gives directive;   God sends men;
3:15  And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God o f Jacob, hath sent me unto you:  this is My Name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.   And God said/spoke;  God gives command to Moses of what to say unto people about His Name;  Name of God;  God sends men;  memorial unto all gnerations is a rememberance of Who He is;
3:16  Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.  God gives directive for him to go to the elders of Israel and say unto them - the voice of the prophet;   Name of God;  God appears unto men;  And God said/spoke;  God visits His people;  God sees what happens to them;
3:17   And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, . . .unto a land flowing with milk and honey.   And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to fulfill His covenant in bringing them to the promise land;  God sees affliction upon His people and will bring them out;   God sees the promises land and foretells what shall be;
3:18   And they shall hearken to thy voice;  and thou shalt come thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us:  and now let us go, we beseech thee three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.   God foretells what shall unfold;  God meets with His people;  God gives directive to them;
3:19  And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.   God foretells of Pharaoh's hard heart and the use of His mighty hand to deliver them;
3:20  And I will stretch out My hand, and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in the midst thereof:  and after that he will let you go.  I will's of God to stretch out His hand against Egypt;  God shows His wonders of judgement;  God foretells what shall be;  I will's of God to do these things in the midst of them.
3:21  And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians and it shall come to pass that when ye go, ye shall not go empty.   I will's of God to give His people favour by their enemies;  God foretells how they shall leave ;
3:22  But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:  and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon you daughters, and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.   God foretells that they shall spoil them and what shall happen;
Chapter 4
4:1  they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee.  The Lord appears unto Whom He desires and will not appear unto those that He will not;
4:2  And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand?  And God said/spoke, great questions of the bible, in which God ask of man that which He already knows;
