"(For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth." Deuteronomy 6:15
4 Activities of God - 1. God is Jealous, His Name & attribute; 2. God's anger is kindled; 3. God destroys; 4. God removes from the earth
America is being destroyed right now. Death and destruction are upon us in historic, record numbers. Property, nature, minds, bodies and lives are being consumed and destroyed each hour within our nation. This is because we have been given much as a nation and used that blessing to corrupt and further the works of hell and evil. God, Who is Jealous/jealous, responds with warnings, correction, punishment and ultimately with wrath and fury to correct this sinful behavior. If the people respond rightly before Him with humbleness, confess, repentance, renewed vows of surrender before Him, He is forgiving, restoring and renewing. But if they continually disobey and deepen their sin against Him, that person, church, nation faces the awful plight of the last Activity of God; He removes them from the earth
Recently I have been in conversations with SBC leaders, church & prayer leaders to discuss the continued rise of judgement upon our nation and the church. This is with hopes that we will respond rightly while there is still time. I do not believe that many understand there is a line drawn, of no return, which is that awful verse in II Chronicles 36, 'till there was no remedy'. And each year, month, week and day adds to the Lord's anger being kindled against the words, deeds, antics of this wicked society. This hurls us forward to sooner judgement because the sin and evil is not addressed, and it is not stopped.
and it is with each day brings another headline, another day of activity of evil. This is self evident, that we have never seen nor heard of such evil as this. Yet, the church delays in responding to that immediate need. Again, when you look at the first 18 years of this century, we can honestly say, (I believe) 'we have never seen it this evil before'. Yea, evil has come in like a flood (Isaiah 59:18) And with each passing day of resistance by the church to respond, God's wrath and fury increase against us. The very jeopardy of our future and hopes as a nation and for future generations is in serious peril. Yet, there is the easy out of; 'I just don't know if this is the judgement of God'; "it's just a sign of the times'.
but if the church had the power of the book of Acts, there would be greater deeds, moments and miracles. Greater testimonies of salvation, whole families being redeemed, healings, workings of God of His Spirit being outpoured upon His church if we were where we needed to be.
--humbles ourselves; our pride as a people, a nation and in the church is still evident; Humanism is still the answer; we still think we can rescue ourselves; even the church has forgotten how much we need the Lord.
--pray; Men always say they are praying; thank God for the remnant that suit up each day and wars a good warfare; But I must consider and ask of those that become defensive or resting in their works; What are you praying for and against? Is the prayer simply mental thoughts about a subject, person, event, etc.? Or is it a petition, supplication, and intercession that you vigorously bring before the Lord for His Divine will and way to be done in it and through it? .
--seek His face; Effort to remove busyness; our priorities and restore a right relationship with Him. Daily time in bible, prayer, evangelism and service to Him, before Him.
--turn from our wicked ways; A complete removal of evil from the church/Christians minds, heart, life, tongue and deeds. No time given for the carnal, self, or sin; but time given for the eternal, Lord, and His glory.
We are on the verge of the next great calamity of our nation. Economy, war, pestilence, anarchy, assassinations, etc. as another judgement that will severely impact us. but all this could be prevented, I believe, through prevailing prayer, if the church will 'hear the Lord calling, 'Come unto Me'. Will you respond?
What Am I Asking for:
1. Immediate call by church and prayer leaders to a day per month for fasting and prayer;
2. At some point in the near future, to set a place and time; via live stream, etc. with technolgy to address our plight, our sins, times of confession and repentance, and renew our vows before the Lord to be holy; faithful and given unto Him alone. I believe this needs to be the call and the action demonstrate. For I do not believe that most in the church know about this or how to do this.
3. Continued groups, churches, and others to give themselves unto prayer weekly, and daily for the need of our nation, church, world, and future.
4. Until we do this, Ichabod is our name, rather than Beulah.
5. I do not believe until the confession of how great our sin is before the Lord, will He restore His Holy Spirit in power upon us. this is why revival tarries I believe. We need God and we still think we can do it, and that He will bless us.
EPIDEMICS:
#1 - Drugs;
#2 - Cancer;
#3 - Great Evil of Minds & Hearts;
--murder-suicides of families in the last several days has sharply increased;
--multiple reports of 'road rage' and killings coming from that;
--Chicago continues an average of 2 people per day for 2018 shot and killed; They are on course to record numbers this year for the last decade.
--schools beginning and praying toward safety and deliverance before school shootings; Pray Now!! do not wait till the tragedy, but now;
#4 - LGBT;
--Vermont democrats have selected the 1st transgender for govenor election;
--CA law 2943 that is being voted on that would restrict churches from counseling or speaking against a childs sexual preferences; religious freedom;
#5 - Children;
--11 children rescued from New Mexico compound where they were being trained to do school shootings; radical Muslims keeping them;
--Pennsylvania Catholic leaders are reporting that 100's of priests have been found guilty of sexual assaults to 1000's of children; Again children being robbed of innocence and naive and scarred for life by the actions of evil men.
#6 - Natural Disasters;
--record rainfall throughout East & Northeast; never have I seen a deluge of rain like this for an entire summer; flooding, disaster, disease, mosquitoes, etc.
--1/4 of west and south west continues in severe drought;
--wildfires continues to scorch 100,000 of acres across west;
--Alaska northern area had rare 6.4 earthquake with many after shocks;
