WHY AM I THUS

Greetings,

"And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus?  and she went to enquire of the Lord."   Genesis 25:22

'Preach the Word, be instant in season and out of season. . . "  II Timothy 4:2

'Why am I thus?'  asked by Rebekah is a valid question.  Now she was carrying twins that were struggling within her.  And she went to God to enquire about this.  and God answered her.   Another example of, 'call and I will answer you'.

As of late, the recent activities in my life, and others, have left many with this question, 'why is this happening?"  And I know that many are not fluent in KJV, but I will ask it, 'why are we thus?"   Why do bad things happen to God's people?  Why is there a barage of numerous things happening all at once?   As the Apostle Paul address his son in the faith, he gives him this directive, 'preach the Word of God, and be instant in season and out of season'.   This reveals to us, that there are season of life that come and go;  there are seasons of 'in and out'.

An 'in season' is a period of time, for weeks, days, hours or within an hour of bliss.  A period of time that things are good and right all around in the minds, heart, and home.   I don't know for the nation that I can say this applies, so I make it more personal to individuals, families and church.    But even for the church it would be hard pressed to find 'in seasons'.   Of course, I would define for the church these seasons as revival.  God's Presence is near and upon them; His glory Shekinah is hovering upon them all.

An 'out of season' of course, would mean the opposite.  It would be filled with trials, tribulations, sickness, perhaps sin, diffictulites and possibly death.  It would seem as if all was wrong and was was left to go wrong.  As David Wilkerson said of his out of season, 'everything was out of sorts;  everything was in chaos; everything was out of order.'   Out of order?!   Everything is amiss and nothing seems to help, change it or correct it.

Now understanding that season come and go; these things will lessen, and be relieved for the next season.   Those on the pinnacles and out of the top of the mountains, you will have to come down.   And I greatly hope that those in the valleys, buried under great affliction and sorrow, you rise up out of that by God's Divine help.   Rebekah went to God to enquire the answer to why.   God is to be sought at all seasons, never to be left; or only sought when it is an out of season.

Why Am I Thus
One is to understand what season we are in.  And to recognize that there are things happening for a reason.  It is not a whim, chance, karma, luck or anything of man's explanation.  There is a reason why; and that answer is found with God.  "Why are these things happening to me?'   Now there are 3 reasons that are a general rule (these are not all the reasons due to our limited ability to know what God is allowing and causing):
1.   God is allowing for these things to happen.   What God says from His throne shall come to pass.  He spoke in the beginning, 'let there be light, and there was light'.   What God pronounces shall be.

2.  Satan is causing these things--
Satan has control and mastery over his followers.  He can infect, possess, assault, tempt, and kill.  Remember Satans activity is to kill, steal and maim;  death and destruction are usually left in his wake.   However, he cannot do any of these things to God's children, unless God permits it.   The account of Job, Judas, Ahab, and Paul are evidence of this.
Job - for God's glory, God allowed for Satan to take away all his possessions and children; then to take away his health and to humble him on the dunghill;  but spared his life;
Judas - for fulfillment of prophecy and God's will, Judas was brought into the fold as a disciple of Christ, but God the FAther and Son both knew all along that Judas would be the one to betray Christ into the hands of evil men that sought to do their fathers's (Satan) will of destroying the Messiah;   death only brought life for all men, but not Judas;
Ahab - account of angels before God in heaven, and God asked 'how shall we destroy Ahab?'  One said after this manner and another after that manner, then arose another angel that said, "I will destroy him."  And the Father God said, 'How?"  and he answered, "I will be a lie in the mouth of the prophets before Ahab and Jehoshaphat that will lead him to his death".   The father of lies is Satan.  And God said, 'You will do it.'  And Ahab died.
Paul - had a thorn in his flesh that Satan used to buffet him;  Even though he prayed unto the Father for it to be removed, God said, 'My grace is sufficient for you' and it was not removed, but endured.

3.   God is causing these things -   This may seem like the first answer, but it is not.  God has ordained certain things of laws for this universe, and the governing principle is 'what you sow is what you reap'.   For he that sows to sin, shall reap corruption, even death;  he that sows to the things of God shall reap God's grace, mercy and blessings.

THE GREAT SIN OF THE CHURCH - HUMANISM

Greetings,

"I am the vine, ye are the branches.  He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:  for without Me ye can do nothing."  John 15:5

What Is The Church?
Christ Jesus came to fulfill His Father's plan of redemption for Israel and Gentiles.   For all the world, for all the generations, for all the nations; God sent forth His only Begotten Son to bring forth salvation.   'Thou shalt call His Name, Jesus; for He shall save His people from their sins". and who is His'people?   Not just the lost sheep of Israel, but the Gentiles as well.    "I have come to do My Father's will", Christ said in foretelling that He would have to die and be resurrected and undo the works of darkness and death.   Throughout Christ ministry and throughout the book of Acts we see the Gospel, the Good News, going forth to Jews and Gentiles to bring them out of lostness and bring them into salvation with Christ.  'For there is no other Name given among men whereby we must be saved, but that Name of Christ Jesus".

Jesus declared in John 3, to the religious Nicodemus, 'Verily, verily I say unto you, Unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.'   And in John 1, "To as many as would receive Christ, to them gave He the power to become sons of God.'   Be born again and receive Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior all the days, time and effort that remains for that lost soul to make them a child of God.  And when they are born again and receive Christ into their minds, hearts and soul, they become a new creature in Christ; old things are past away and all things become new in Christ.   And this is the body of Christ; and to those that enter in they become Christs' church.  The body of born and again believers who follow their Master, who love Him and obey Him.   For Christ said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

We see that this thing called the Church, it is a Divine thing; it is of God.   God receives lost men in to make them like Him.  For the definition of a Christian is to become - 'Christ-like'.   Not Christ like in some ways, but in all ways;  'let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.'   But the problem for the church is that those that enter in to the church do not all come in rightly with God.  We see in the book of Acts, there was lies, controversy, divisions, and other earthly, wordly things.   And when such things come against Christ's church, it must be recognized and overcome.   When it is overcome and put right, then God is glorified and His Spirit continues to work wondrously.   but when it is not made right, then there is the issues of sin in the camp.

Men have long sought to put their defiled, dirty hands on that which is Holy.   The church, because it is of God, by God, for God is Holy as He is holy.   But when sinful, sodden hands of this world seek to touch it, they defile it.   The Old Testament warning, 'touch not the ark, lest thou die'; which Uzza, who sought to touch the ark to steady it, died.   Good intention, to steady it, but wrong act, for it was an act of disobedience - ';Touch not the ark'.   Is it not different than God's warning to Adam and Eve?  Taste not; touch not; look not upon the fruit.    And yet, knowing God's instruction, Satan cause her to question and she looked, then she touched, and then she ate.   And then the wages of sin became death.

so long as religion, hell, man seek to help God with their ways, rather than His ways, they will usher forth sin upon God's Holy church.   And when sin enters in, it ceases from being holy; and become unholy.   It ceases from being spiritual, to being carnal;  it ceases from being eternal, to being temporal.    It undoes the work of God for His glory and for His purpose.   And the Spirit is grieved and quenched, limited and resisted.  The power of God is withdrawn, for God will not receive mans defilement and bless it.   These acts of men to 'touch the ark'; 'to help God with worldly ways'; to disobey God's Word and ways' is called HUMANISM.   Humanism is the work of man and it is not the work of God.

How Is It To Operate?

We are given numerous ways in which the church is to operate.  These directives from the Lord are clear and necessary to avoid contamination of humanism.   But when men seek to compromise, seek to change these established ordinances, it opens the door for Satan to come in and do his worst work.   Now these directives are not negotiable; they are not pick and choose, but they are given for following and obeying in all points.   May we be mindful of such actions that seek rebellion rather than obedience.

Humanism Impacts

1. Salvation/Regeneration - In this day and age of the church, we have spiraled down an awful slope away from True Salvation.   We see far too often, many that are not truly born again by the Spirit & the Word welcomed into the church as born again believers.  But in reality, they died to nothing and they know not what they was saved from or saved too.   Old things were not passed away and all things did not become new.

2.   Worship - worship is all about God;  Worship is declaring Who God is; what God has done; Worship is filled with God's great Name(s);  Worship is filled with God's mighty and great attributes.   The Christian should know these very well so that they may adore Him.  Adoration is silent, gazing upon Him, Who is worthy to be adored.   Taking in all of His features, ways and decalrations of His doings.    it is directly to Him and about Him.   But when men seek to add to or take away from this then it is no longer worship.   It is something less.    We do not need to add earthly, fleshly words, phrases and jargon to describe God when He has already declared Who He is and what He has done.
Worship is to Him and not about Him.   Too many in worship today, songs, dramas, and other means

OUR ENEMY HAS COME

Greetings,
"And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?   And he answered, I have not trouble Israel; but, thou, and thy fathers house, in that ye have forsaken the commandment fo the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim."   I Kings 18: 17 -18

"And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy?  And he answered, I have found thee:  because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord."   I Kings 21:20

Here is King Ahab and the prophet Elijah.   It is two contrast of two men; one is for self and sin; the other for the Lord.   And Ahab despises the presence of the man of God so much that call him, his enemy.   It is reality of our day, that our enemy, Satan has come.  He has come to do what he focuses on, death, destruction and desolation.   Christ said of the Devil, 'he comes to kill, steal and maim'.   And as so many are asking these days, "what is going on?'   Here is the simple answer, 'Our enemy has come."

Within the last week, we have dealt with national tragedies of mass shootings; we have seen cities, like Chicago, seeing dozens injured and killed; we have seen families turn on each other and commit murder-suicide; we have seen an angry man running through the streets in California knifing people and killing several; and locally, we have seen multiple deaths by suicide and greatly impacted by drugs.   What is going on?  Our enemy has come.   And it brings to mind, our prayer groups them from Broken Before the Throne, from Isaiah 59, 'when evil (your enemy) comes in like a flood".   A flood of evil sweeping upon the nation, upon homes, and upon the minds and hearts of men to destroy, bring death and leave desolation upon those that remain.

This has not been an overnight happening, but our nation, homes and churches that are as guilty as Ahab, 'because you have sold yourself to work evil in the sight of the Lord'.   We have done everything we possibly can to invite Satan into our homes and hearts.  And he has more than gladly entered.  For as the Lord God is limited, resisted and quenched, He withdraws from men, thus opening the door of opportunity to do his worst work.   and he has come; and in the last 10 - 20 years worked a worked that is leading us to our own destruction.

God is forgotten and forsaken.  And as He said to Israel, "if you forsake and forget Me, I will forsake and forget you."   And there is your answer to why these things are happening.  But do not think this is the worst it can get.  Oh no; we ain't seen anything yet.   This is 'only the beginning of sorrows'.   And without a genuine return to the Lord by His church and the people, these things will get much worse.

How Does he Do It

Satan has taken full advantage of the people forsaken and forgettuing the Lord God.   having removed the bible from public schools, as well as from most homes, this generation is largely ignorant of God or His Word.   A generation ago, there were many that had at least been raised in VBS, or Sunday School and knew of God and the accounts in the Word.   But I have seen in my area, that there are whole generations of grandparents, to parents, to grandchildren/children that do not know anything of God, nor do they enter into His house.   They are completely removed from God.   Thus, they are completely owned by Satan.  What an awful thought to know whole households and generations owned by Satan.

And in his ownership of them, he ensnares them to the vices, habits, routines that keep them away from God.  The drug epidemic is not an unknown phenomena.   It began with other vices and sins that led to larger ones of addiction.   Alcohol, smoking, leading to greater highs, trying of new and odd things.   Thus the bodies of this generation is known for being addicts to little and great things.  So long as the addictions control, God is kept at bay.   And when any thought or crisis leads them to consider stopping, Satan will let them go for awhile, but remember he still owns them.  He will not let them go too far.   Addictions have fed the appetite of our nation for its excessive desires from food, drink, sports, entertainment, self, and revelry of sin and evil.

and the further Satan take our nation, homes and hearts toward hell, the more he unleashes his demonic attacks on our nation to hasten souls into hell.   Thus the all the death of our nation through
--50,000 homicides;
--30,000 suicides;
--70, 000 drug overdose deaths;
--90,000 alcohol related deaths;
--1 million abortions;
All within our annual death rates.   Driven by Satan who has fed our desires for sin and self.

With so many away from God in whole family settings, there is no one to intercede in prayer for loved ones.  They are all fair game for the Devil.   He makes the most of prayerless and not prayed for souls.   And with no defense from God to protect and deliver them, Satan enters into these vessels of men, women and children to possess them fully for his purposes of death, destruction and desolations.   He enters the mind, the heart and the body with demon possession.  Controlling them, tempting them, guiding them and leading them to accomplish his desires.

The minds are evil affected as all morals, right and wrong, good and bad are removed and their minds are consumed with evil.   as Paul wrote to the church at Corinth and said, 'we have the mind of Christ'; so they have the mind of Satan.  And in Romans where God warns that He will turn them over to reprobate minds.  Thus going from bad to worse to evil in their thoughts and deeds.   We have seen the progression of evil fulfill this.

He enters the hearts.  Jesus said, 'Out of the heart proceeds these things of adultery, fornication, evil speaking. . . '  and it is in the heart that drives the will of men to do what their hearts desire, to do evil.   We have seen the progression of this being acted out in worse and worse headlines and crimes against innocent, naive, and defenseless ones.   Sexual perversions are driven to new  lows of robbing them of innocence.   Found in near and far of teachers, ministers, leaders, family members etc.  Their sexual appetites have left the natural use of what God intended to act out their perversions on all.   And this has been going on largely unknown by the 10,000's for decades in our nation.   Thus, creating an entire new generation robbed of normalcy in sexuality and what real love is.

Satan affecting their minds and hearts leads them to greater and greater evils to be done in our schools, churches, homes, streets.   No where is safe from his hold and influence.   He wons the masses, and he holds their minds and hearts for his evil purpose of destruction and death.   And there is only one deliverance to be found from this evil.

What is the Solution and Remedy
Our only hope is that which has always been our only hope, Christ, and Christ alone.

Christ has spoken to this in numerous ways.  ONe that He gave authority over the evil one.   He has said, 'as I have overcome, so you will overcome.'   He has given us authority that 'whatsoever we ask in His Name, the Father would grant us."    And that there is victory in Christ and it will be found no where else.   And too many seek Christ plus something else.   Christ and good works;  Christ and government planning;  Christ and new methods or means.   But in all this it will fail, for it is not Christ plus something else.  It is Christ alone.

And the body of Christ, the church, should be under the understanding very clearly that we cannot be tainted with the world, found in sin and expect to receive from the Lord, the power of the Spirit.   For the Spirit, is Holy, as God is Holy; and Holy means without sin.   OUr sinful lives, ways, means only quench, grieve, resist and limit Him.   All of which is must dealt with and put away from us.   There cannot be found, anything that gives and occasion against the Lord.    Oh, that we would understand the power of the Lord is sufficient.  "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord' is the power of the Lord for victory.   And men seeking power for selfsih, sinful means is not for God's glory.   Pure purpose for God's glory is the right understanding.

Until,
Dan

THE WARNING - "IT IS OF THE LORD'S MERCIES THAT WE ARE NOT CONSUMED"

Greetings,

"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not."   Lamentations 3:22

God's mercy protects, delivers, preserves and helps.  The very knowledge of God reveals that His compassion, longsuffering, grace and mercy and lovingkindness is beyond anything that we deserve.   We deserve death, punishment, sorrow, and death because of our sin, unbelief and unfaithfulness.  But God has been merciful to keep us from the full extent of His wrath and punishment upon our nation, upon our families and upon His church.  Yet, due to the failure of men to seek and find Him not all find this mercy and compassion.   For when men reject God; when they reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; when they reject the prompting, leading and invitations of the Holy Ghost; they will not find compassions and mercies; but they will find wrath and judgement.

1.  the Plight of our Nation -
God has been merciful and shown great compassion to our nation and to the church in America.   We deserve none of this, yet for God's purposes and ways He has done it.  But where much is given, much is required.  And our nation has not reciprocated to God for what He has bestowed.  YEa, we have greatly increased in evil and sin.   When men turn from God, God answers them in their sin.  God has sent warnings to our nation time and time again.   These are called 'Remedial Judgements'.  These judgements come in response to the choices and ways of our nation, society and generation that defy God.  They seek to provoke Him to anger and assault the very core principles of Christianity that is our nation's foundations.   For it has been the history of our nation to see the hand of God extend mercies and compassion upon us.   We deserved to be consumed, and often one may have thought we would have been; yet, His mercies preserved and delivered us from being consumed.

'We deserve to be consumed' - most will not like this, nor agree with it.   But the understanding of the Gospel is that we are born in sin, sinners in need of a great Savior.  And for the vast world, few there be that be saved.   And with the majority dictating the course of history and this world, sin and evil rises and greatly increases.  The forces of hell assault and afflict and annihilate.   Choices, habits, laws, judicial edicts all are found contrary to the Lord.  These ways against Him, greatly provoke Him to anger, greatly affront Him in our choice as a nation to abhor Him and choose Satan.   These choices lead to God stretching out His arm against us and not for us.   Such choices are desecration of His house, the church; forsaking of His Word; lack of knowledge of Him and His Word; prayerless; faithless; given to great sin and abominations.   Whole homes broken and ravaged in rebellion, self and sin, countless souls bound in addictions; yes, we deserve to be consumed.  Yet, in Him there is compassion and mercy to be sought and found.   And in history it is revealed of such moments that He did not consume us, but extended grace:

--we see this in the times of war;  Always it seemed we were over matched and yet His mercies preserved and gave victory.   This was against Britain; this was against our own selves in the Civil War; this was against Germany, twice.   And yet out of those victories it was times that God worked and moved with compassion to establish us and cause us to lean, trust and look unto Him.
--we see this in times of calamity and alarm  Times of terrorism, Pearl Harbor, school shooting, have caused us to stop and consider where we are and what's really important.
--we see this in times of great death, sickness and affliction;   We've been in these times of small pox, fever, polio, and now the drug & alcohol addictions, cancer, all of which continue the traits of Satan - "he will come to kill, maim and destroy'.

God has given warning after warning, but how much time does He give?   This no one knows, it may be suddenly, like the following below:
We see in the Bible the instances of those that met God's wrath in a moment:
--Sodom and Gomorrah - and fire and brimstone rained down on them and consumed all but Lot and his family;
--Uzza put forth his hand and sought to steady the ark of God and was struck dead in a moment;
--Nadab and Abihu offered strange fire before the Lord and fire from God came out of heaven and consumed them on the spot;
--Anaias and Saphira lied to the Holy Ghost and before the church and they were both struck dead before the church;

God gave Nineveh 40 days; God sent His prophets to Israel and Judah for 100's of years.   God gives warnings for the hope and the sake of them humbling themselves and repenting and returning unto Him.   Yet when they refuse, God after a time, seems to rise and send forth another wave.   I do not believe these are unknown to us, but God reveals exactly what He is doing and why He is doing it. This was the same that the Lord said to Joseph, which told Pharaoh in Egypt, 'what God is getting ready to do, He has made known to you."

God has given rise to multiple times of mercy and compassion.  God has given us more than enough time to humble ourselves, repent and seek Him.   Yet, we have missed it almost every time.  And if there was a moment of making it right before Him, it was quickly faded away.   No long duration of time to maintain before Him.   Therefore, the warning goes out, prepare for the next round of severe remedial judgments.  All that we have seen culminating into one continuous bout of evil upon our nation.   Mercy and compassion seems extinct in such times.

A time of mass shootings, (as I am in writing this, El Paso mass shooting of 20 dead, 26 wounded comes across the news);  a time of suicides, murder-suicides, police officers shot and killed;  police officers shooting and killing; home life already pushed to extinctions sees more rise in rebellion of children, divorces, adultery, abuse.   It this not enough?   Natural disasters of heat, drought, flooding, eruptions, earthquakes, wild beasts, animals, attacks, disasters after disaster upon regions, locales, states, whole swaths of land and cities, and homes, businesses' destroyed and ruined.   Is this not enough?   Added on more cancers, plagues, flesh eating bacteria, ebola, life/death, young, old not regards but His hand to go out against all.

How much more?   Oh, when you read the Word, and you know God and what He is able to do against a people that have forgotten and forsaken Him, who have abhorred Him and walked contrary to Him, there is much more of His wrath that can fall upon a nation.   but why would we continue in this path of death and destruction;   'for it is the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed; but His compassion is what we seek'.

and the one people who have such an ability to please Him, and turn His curses into a blessing is His people, the church.   Do they know this?  Are they seeking such?   What do you do when His wrath is against His Own people?

2.   the Plight of the Church -
There are several Scriptures to consider in understanding what God has already said about His church, and what He has warned about His church.
He said to Peter, "I will build My church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
He warned the church of Ephesus, "repent and do your first works, lest I come and remove your candlestick."
In the book of Acts He bares record, 'daily such as should be saved was added to the church"

And throughout history we have seen that when the body of Christ ceases from doing that which is right in the sight of the Lord, He, after multiple warnings, replaces them, with those that will do it rightly.
--we read of Luther seeking to reform the heresy of the Catholic church; rejected by them, Protestantism was begun;
--John Wesley was refused to stand int he pulpits of the Church of England for the Gospel;  God began the Methodist church;
--General William Booth was kicked out of the Methodist church, began the Salvation Army;
--A B Simpson in ministering to the immigrants walked away from the Presbyterian church and the Missionary and Alliance Church came to be;  of which followed by AW Tozer;

These are warning of any church, pastor, denomination that when we forsake the 'good and right way' and depart to man made ways, God will warn and correct.   When that warning and correction is rejected, God removes their candlestick.  Then God raises up those that will do His bidding rightly for His glory.   Oh, contemplate that warning!

did not even the Apostle Paul say, "I keep my body under submission; lest by any means when I have preached to others, I should be a cast away."   Set on the shelf, no more to be used by God.   Whoa! to such a plight for any.   Thus, we should understand where we are and why we are here.   The judgements, the curses, the loss of Holy Ghost power and Authority is upon us for our rejecting of God.    And will not be restored unless recognized, repented of and restored to new vows of surrender to Him, and Him alone.

Far too much humanism is in the American church today that has no faith, but relies on the arm of flesh, rather than the arm of God.  "not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord".   And here we are!
--evil being legalized on our watch;
--record lows of church attendance;
--continue to seek numbers rather than God;
--having grieved, quenched, limited and resisted the Holy One of God;
--we stand powerless in the face of the forces of hell unleashing on our nation in minds, hearts, homes, and for our future;

And knowing all this, we continue on with 'church' as if its going to get better on its own.   too many in church leadership and the prayer movement have expressed to me, 'they agree with me, however, they are not willing to do anything to change our current ways.'    I was told of the time after 9/11, President Bush had been told to call for a Solemn Assembly for the nation and was in favour of it.   But one leader turned him from that on church/state separation.   And it was removed and forgotten.  At the most crucial hour of judgement on our nation, the church should acknowledge their sins and the wrath of God upon us for those sins, the nations sins and call for a Solemn Assembly where there is fasting, mourning, lamenting, confession and repentance.   And seek the face of the Lord that 'in wrath remembering mercy'; and seek Him for pity.   The great cry, "help Lord for the godly man ceaseth and the faithful fail from among us".

Leaders are placed in leadership 'for such a time as this' to do that which is right according to Him, not according to tradition or what has been.   'What has been' is what got us into this plight.   Therefore, the old must pass away and the new in Him must begin again.  "This is the way, now walk in it'.   Leadership to lead us into holiness, prayer, fasting and continued call upon Him for mercy.   and remembering, that it is His compassion and His mercy that we are not consumed, but exist today to serve Him and revive.

The hour is late, the need is great; pray so as to prevail.   May the church become a house of prayer again; and may we lead them to be a people of prayer.   These things hinge on these truths.

3.   the Plight of the heart - The surrender and yieldedness of the soul of a man determines what they receive from the Lord.   the soul that humbles itself before the Lord shall receive His compassion and mercies.  The soul that rejects Him shall receive wrath and judgement.   These things shall be experienced in this life and determined in greater weight in eternity.

But the plight of the hearts of men today is that God is giving them over to reprobate minds (Romans 1).  WE also see what God will do to the hearts of people toward family in the curses of Deuteronomy 28.   "And the woman that is tender hearted, I will give her a cruel heart against her husband and her children."   We see this happening today, and escalating.  this is the hand of God gone out against us.   Understand this and respond rightly is key in such a crucial hour of our day.

What is being asked of you?
1.  Hear me with the warnings that God is sending us.  We cannot continue on as a nation in such abominations and sin, and so quiet and unmoved by it.   Look at the escalation of evil in our society, homes, and hearts over the last 20 years.   And see our great need for God to help us.

2.  Realize that God has spoken to us and revealed wherein our problem is - we have separated between Him and us.   Our sin and iniquities have separated us and must be recognized, identified, confessed and repented of.   A humbling of ourselves before our Great God realizing our great sin against Him as a nation, church, homes and personal.

3.   Active pursuit of holiness to be restored in our relationship as a church and our own personal walk with Him.   Putting out self, sin and putting in Spirit, and the things of God.

4.  Do this personally and then do this corporately.   Wait upon God, 'for who knows if He will turn and leave a blessing behind Him.'

Oh how we need Him!

The hour is late; the need is great; pray so as to prevail before Him!

Until,
