Greetings,
"Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come." Joel 1:14 - 15
In these historic days the Lord is calling us to assemble, fast, weep and cry out to Him. Long has the burden of many of you been the state of our nation and the state of the church. And it is during these days that we respond in obedience as the Lord has declared. When such judgements come, assemble, confess and repent and call upon Him. We have such a time, via live stream, to assemble and seek the Lord. You are invited, to join us and come together!
On April 25 - 26, 2020, we will have a two day gathering of God's people to draw near to the Lord to deal with the spiritual condition of the nation(s) and the church. There will be leaders guiding us through the Word to accomplish the following 3 directives:
1. Worship - to know God; His Names, attributes and His works and deeds;
2. Confession - cause them to know their abominations; National sins, church sins, family sins and personal sins;
3. Petition/Supplication/Intercession - the needs at hand from the plague; life & death; salvation for the lost; church to be empowered; and our Lord's will to be done following this crisis.
On Saturday, we will have 9 hours, in 3 hour sessions:
Morning session - 9 AM - Noon (EST)
Afternoon session - 1 PM - 4 PM (EST)
Evening session - 6 PM - 9 PM (EST)
This will allow for leaders to guide us in hearing the Word of the Lord and responding in prayer times. On Sunday morning, we will encourage participants to worship with their own church families via live stream. We will resume the Call for a Solemn Assembly for the afternoon at 1 PM (EST). Sunday will conclude with the evening session - (6 - 9 PM EST).
It is ever so needful that the church understand and hear from the Lord during these days that are impacting our world. And that the church make itself right with the Lord, and ready to respond when this crisis eases. What is happening is historic; what will happen that follows is of God's purpose and His kingdoms will for the end times. Let us find ourselves ready and fit to obey and serve our Lord to 'finish the task'.
Each ministry is being asked to join us on these two days and to encourage their followers to join so that we might humble ourselves before the Lord; 'for who knoweth if He will return and repent and leave a blessing behind Him".
