Greetings,
"Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart." Jeremiah 4:18
"Amend your ways and your doings" Jeremiah 7:3
God declares that He will reward every man for his ways and doings. For the righteous, rewards of blessings; for wicked, rewards of curses. And we see this theme throughout all of Scripture, that what you sow, you reap. God declares through the prophet here in Jeremiah 4, that because of their ways and doings they have brought upon themselves these things of judgements and evil. And God calls them in Jeremiah to repent of these ways and doings. This is consistent: 1. what are your ways and doings; 2. if your ways and doings are wicked and evil in His sight, then recognize your sins, confess, repent and amend your ways and doings; 3. for if we will not amend our ways and doings, then what we have sown, we will reap in their natural conclusion.
Many are rejoicing in the New Year; yea, in the new decade. But we enter this year and decade with multiple years and decades of increased evil and wickedness legalized, practiced, embraced and pushing agendas to greater evil and abominations. Our theme is Isaiah 59, 'that when evil comes in like a flood, that the Lord raises up a standard against it." Evil has for the last 50 years increased, despite church leaders promoting that prayer was increasing, churches were growing and multiplying and presenting a "positive" outlook. This is not reality! And the plan to increase hope among God's people is built on half-truths and deception of fudging numbers and casting a veil over the reality of our plight. The reality of church attendance at a national all time, historic low; and baptisms at record lows is our reality. As the church goes, so goes the nation!
Our ways and doings as a nation, and as the church has brought forth this great evil in our lifetime, on our watch. The only reason that God would send such EPIDEMICS against us; send remedial judgement of great severity against; bring forth death, destruction and desolation is because our "ways and doings" have procured these things upon us. And our refusal to own to this, to acknowledge, wherein our great sins lie, has not amended our ways and doings. And now the wrath of God is filled to the brim and ready to overflow with greater wrath of cataclysmic proportions upon our land, upon our families and upon the church.
Why is this such a hard thing to understand? Why is it that church leaders, who know these truths, 'you reap what you have sown' is rejected because of its dismissal conclusion? Leadership is placed to acknowledge our ways and doings before the Lord, whether they be right or not. Leadership embraces the place of our reality and does not fabricate a false image, but owns up to our plight to correct it. for it can never be corrected until it is recognized.
Amend your ways and doings, O America! For 1 million babies blood has been spilt every year upon your land; homicide deaths on our streets at record historic numbers; evil has come into their minds and suicide fills their response with escape and their blood is on our hands and land; perversions of lower consent ages in states so that more perversions may be done to our children; church celebrates numbers of abortions have lowered, but unwillingly to acknowledge that this is not because sexual sins of adultery and fornication have lessened, nay, it has increased (the reason STD's are at 2 million cases), but they are using drugs and other medical things to prevent pregnancies. All the while God sees and knows the failure of men's heart and minds toward Him as we enter this new year.
I have no doubt, that God in His Divine Sovereignty sends revival at man's darkest hours. This is historical. Yet, I know also that when the calls to 'amend your ways and doings' is not heeded; when no man will pay the price to prevail; when holiness is rejected for the price it bears; then there will be no revival. And that is the reason that to see the handwriting on the wall, that we not be mystified like the king of Babylon, but know, like Daniel, that God has written 'what ye sow is what you reap'. We know these things. And the price must be paid, or else. PREVAIL OR FAIL
Is this too hard? Is this harsh? Unkind? Cruel? It is the reality of our day. And our only place of hope and help is found at the throne of God. And we come with a heart, mind and soul to 'amend our ways and doing' before Him, as His people. We come with a priority, 'be ye holy for I am holy'. We come with a priority God first and nothing else. We come into this new year to pay the price in our secret closets; in our fasts; in our tears; we will not be denied for His great Name sake. WE come because there is no where else to come, but unto You, O Lord God. We come because the hour is late, and the need is great and we must prevail with You before it is eternally too late. Help us, O God, for the godly man ceaseth and the faithful fail from among us.
PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS:
1. Drugs & Alcohol - looking for stats to reveal drug overdose deaths at 70,000 & related alcohol deaths at 80,000 - Total 150,000 deaths due to addictions and excess; not to mention repercussions of families impacted and lives greatly affected afterwards; and those that od but do not die and recovery;
2. Great Evil - recent this past Sunday of TX church shooting; reminder evil knows no bounds; schools getting ready to restart; mass shootings, school, church, business, random, prayer is upon minds and hearts of demonic and evil affected;
Suicides - probably over 30,000 deaths;
Baltimore record set on homicides in city over 3,500;
3. Children - continued sex traffic, abused, neglected; stat would have to be 70 - 80 % of children impacted with this before they reach age of 12; great diestructcion on society by homes exploding with abuse and neglect;
4. Natural Disasters - world wide impacts & US impacts; death, destruction and desolation; only to increase and greater severity of judgements on this world and our nation for our continued rebellion and prophetic warnings;
5. Plagues - continued impacts of disease; cancer; record # of STD"s for sexual sins; flu has killed 2,100 so far this season, unusually high; continued afflictions on body;
6. LGBT - great abomination of our day; continued pressing in laws, judicial edicts, mandate to churches to compromise and be silence against sinfulness of these choices; perversions increase as consent age lowered for their evil to prey on children;
Watching and listening to see where the next level of judgements will come from and how it will happen. Economy, war, greater plagues, greater evils?? "Watch and pray"
UPDATES:
--last 24 hours of our 100 hours of praying for & in to the new year; Grateful to each of you that joined us. At least 4 churches and their pastors joined and encouraged their people to pray; 14 states, 2 foreign countries represented;
--Concerts of Prayer - WV & Ohio have agreed to partner with this call for the new year; continuing to pray for 10 SBC states to join us;
--bible reading - up through Jeremiah; under two months to finish; word study this time through - Rise;
--The Activity of God - Isaiah; just getting started; difficult up moving forward.
--A Word - Isaiah 61; wanting to start all this chapter and finish the majority before new year; probably not going to make it; not one of my better years - only 74 bible verses started, less than 1/2 of those finished; not good!! time is critical and defintely an issue of getting through the bible;
--January - focus on Concerts of Prayer - day of fast is Jan. 7; corporate prayer is Jan. 4 & 18; service at two church on Sunday; Jan. 9 Upper Ohio prayer training and commissioning for that assocation of their new prayer team;
