What an uproar for the close of the year and the Christmas celebration! Impeachment voting, and political wrangling revealing the deep divide in our political system. Spilling over into the revelation of the huge divide among Christian leaders and the church, triggered by the Christianity Today editorial post and the social media backlash. Then to hear and watch a little of Bethel music attempts to "raise the dead" and its falsehood. this coupled with the continued weekly, yea daily, continuance of EPIDEMICS upon our nation of evil, death, dying and advancement of sin..
What happens when the sins of the nation, sins of the church, sins of our families and the sins of our own hearts and lives continues to drop into the 'cup of wrath'? Drop, drop, drop until it reaches the brim of the cup. And then, when at the maximum fullness, the next drop gushes it over. For the last several years, the drops have continued from the lost and from the church. The call to recognize from Scripture, wherein our sins were and to confess them has been rejected and refused. A lack of knowledge of the Word, a compromising spirit among the church and Christians with evil and sin, and a failure to simply own up to our great sin and provoking of the Lord as a nation, as the church, has simply allowed for the cup of wrath to fill. This is the reason that we went from occasional judgements within our nation and homes to remedial judgements, to EPIDEMIC STATUS. We failed to see these things comping to pass and did not realize just how far it was driving us from God.
This has led us to see the demise of our society, our nation and the powerlessness within the church. And the age old question that it has brought us to is -- 'REVIVAL OR JUDGEMENT"? For revival has come when it was the darkest times of the church and the nations; God brought forth His marvellous Light and power upon His church again. But then there are times, that in the darkest hour, after multitudes of warnings to 'repent' and they would not, that God sent catastrophic judgement and it was over.
We are still remaining, with freedom, with opportunity. These things of death and destruction have come to pass. Lift up your eyes and see where we are and how far we have fallen in 20 years, in 10 years. Do not allow for it to continue any further. We have issued to essential movements to address our sin, confess and repent and restore our relationship with the Lord - 'return to your first love'.
1. 100 Hours of prayer to close out this year. Prayer time that is emphasized on - Worship/Adoration/Praise/Thanksgiving - Prayer time of confession of sins our nation, sins of the church, sins of our families and our own personal sins - Prayer time of Petition/Supplication/Intercession of pleading with God for help, for salvation, for deliverance, for revival. And simply put, where are we at? PREVAIL OR FAIL!

2. Concerts of Prayer for the new year - our two churches have continued this time of fasting and prayer for 7 months in 2019. It is right before the Lord and it is needful for the majority of the church to embrace and employ it. A fast set for the 1st Tuesday of each month, spending time during that day to pray in our secret closets or together for our nation and the state of the church. Secondly, to have a set corporate time of prayer within the first week of the month, for the church to come together to worship - confess - petiton.

When you see these things come to pass, know that God's kingdom is coming. coming to glorify His Name; coming to bring swift judgement? In the new year we will see, but it much in response to what we do now. To do nothing or continue as we are presently accomplishes nothing. But to prevail in prayer will see His Manifest Presence upon His church again. Oh, how we need this! Trust and obey. . .
The hour is late, the need is great, pray so as to prevail!
Prayer Targets:
EPIDEMICS - 1. Natural Disasters - record snow in Iceland - 30 ft; Australia wildfires historic destruction; 2. Drugs/Alcohol overdoses, death and destruction of lives and society; 3. LGBT agenda against church and to advance hell and evil; 4. Great Evils - increase of murder-suicides; schools generally out till first of year, reprieve, but don't stop praying for 'deliver them from evil'; 5. Abuse & neglect of Children - lives of children destroyed before they reach 8 years of age; most have seen more evil in the homes and been abused; sex trade; 6. Disease/Pestilence - cancer; STD's record numbers; staph resistant deaths record number; Flu deaths so far this season - 2000;
--Over a dozen world wide national capitals are seeing constant protests in the streets; many of them violent; Beirut; Tehran; Hong Kong; Paris; Chile; Bolivia; Ecuador; India;
--Impeachment of Trump; letter from Christianity Today editor showing the divide in social media in regards tot he Christian church in US;
--economic warnings of major world wide collapse are being to show; experts predicting that the next crash, like 2007-08, housing collapse, will crash the whole system; we shall see, 'lift up your eyes'; watch and pray;
--close of the year - our 100 Hours of Prayer is almost set as we are one week away; Dec. 28 - Jan. 1; 100 straight hours of praying to cover our nation, our future and the state of the church; multiple churches have joined, added prayer partners have joined, almost a dozen states represented in this;
--Concerts of Prayer - call for over 35 SBC state convention executive directors to embrace and employ the call, invite to Concerts of Prayer at the beginning of the new year; WV only one to respond and letter sent out; so far only 2 pastors have responded, plus my two churches; Indiana state director voiced favor for encouraging prayer; Penn/NJ state director shared that they are looking to try something in regards to prayer; praying for 10 more state executives;
Updates:
--bible readings; back on track, up through Proverbs; should over pass Activity of God first of next week; will over pass A Word devotional writing before end of year; 2 months remaining;
--The Activity of God - Proverbs; Ecclesiastes; Song of Solomon - up through Song of Solomon; all 8 chapters have no Activity of God; just reading through it and marking blog posts and bible of NO ACTIVITY OF GOD; 2 chapters of the 12 in Ecclesiastes had NO ACTIVITY OF GOD; time I'm through Canticles will at 39 overall chapters of the bible;
--A Word - Isaiah 61; a few verses started, 7 of 11 verses of this chapter started; verses 4, 5, 6 finished;
--100 Hours of Prayer for the Close of the Year - of the 100 hour slots needed to fill; we are at 70 with one week remaining; pray for them to be filled by first of week;
--Concerts of Prayer - WV sent out letter of invite and call to embrace; no other states responded to invite; Penn/NJ are looking at doing something; INdiana was desiring to promote prayer; so far out of over 200 churches in @V, my two churches and 2 other have signed on - 4 of 200 ;
