80 HOURS OF PRAYER

Greetings,
Here is an update for our last week remaining before our set 80 hours of straight prayer.

Start:  September 28, 7 AM (EST)
End:  October 1, Noon (EST)

Out of the 80 hours, which is based on hour slots; but can be divided into 1/2 hour slots, there remains 25 slots.  There are a few people that are waiting till the end of the week and will pick up some of these.   Keyser Church and Fox's Hollow will take a few of the others.  I believe that all will be filled when we get to Saturday.

Prayer Targets:
The prayer focus is based on our Concert of Prayer points:  1. Worship; 2.  Confession;  and 3.  Pleadings/Supplications/Intercessions for lost, church, God's will and ways, revival etc.

Most of you participating have been with us before on 24/7 praying.  but if you need materials, helps, guidelines, Scriptures, let me know and I will help.   At the end of this letter is a lists of some of my blog posts with some of these things wrote out and Scripture references to help.

Secret closet praying & Corporate Prayer:
Many of you are stretched out over the US.  I believe we have 10 states represented.   And because of that distance and the timing, most will be on their own for their hour in their secret closet.
However, on Saturday, Sept. 28 at my house, starting about 10 AM. A group from Broken Before the Throne will be travelling to Keyser and we will be gathering and praying for several hours that day.   Fox's Hollow Saturday prayer scheduled for that night at 7 PM, will be at my house as well.
On Sunday, each church will have a couple hours of corporate praying.   We will start at Keyser church at 9 AM and pray till 11 AM;  at Fox's Hollow we will pray at 2 PM to 3 PM.
There are a few others that will meet on Sunday and Monday down near Frederick, MD.
I have not decided if to live stream these prayer times.   If I do they will be on my Facebook page.

Divine Moment:
There are 7 churches in Austin that will be praying 168 hours straight.  EAch church will be praying 24 hours then passing off to the next church.   this is almost unheard of in our day.  And because of that, I am much moved that God is ready to move.  He always sets His people to pray and prevail before He works.   It is an historic moment; it is a Divine moment for our nation and the church.

Warning:
Prayer is our greatest weapon.  Hell fears God's people praying more than anything else.
I believe that anytime a church or group of Christians set themselves to pray and prevail in prayer, hell calls an 'emergency business session" to stop it.   Our enemy hates this time that is set.  He will seek to disrupt and attack you this week.  He will surely try to undo our times together.   Stay vigilant; stay on guard; pray one for another, of all those participating.   We cannot afford to fail during these special days.

Concert of Prayer
We have set the Concert of Prayer before SBC leadership and state leadership.  None have responded.   But we have maintained over the last several moths.
1.  The fist Tuesday of every month is a set time to fast before the Lord for our nation, and for the church;   each knows what they are able to do in regards to fasting with medical, diets and other issues.
2.  During that first week of the month a set time of corporate prayer time to Worship -- Confession -- Pleadings for revival, HOly Spirit and mercy.
At the conclusion of our 80 hours on Tuesday, October 1, we will have our fast for the month of October.
Join us and be a part to incorporate others.

Brethren, the hour is late, the need is great; pray so as to prevail !

Until,
Dan
