PRAYER PARTNERS - MAY 31; 24/7 PRAY CHAIN

Greetings,

"But I give myself unto prayer"  Psalm 109:4

We come to a close of 5 months for this year of 2018.  During theses 5 months we have seen heightened remedial judgements of God upon our nation, upon the church and upon many families.  In the face of these calamities we have seen a slight response by the church to combat our great need as a nation, and as the church.  And due to the slight response by the church the remedial judgements will continue and, I fear increase.

First, I am concerned about your walk with the Lord.  I would know from you, 'is it well with your soul?'   Are you walking in oneness with Him?

--I would ask of you of Bible reading -- for herein is our constant source of knowing and hearing God's Word and its impact on us and through us for His glory.
--I would ask of your prayer life --  in 5 months of this year, has it deepened?  have you prevailed?  or has it been wavering, weak and weary?
--I would ask of your witness  --  have you shared the Gospel in 5 months?  each month?  each week?  several times in the week?   Or do you stand ashamed and silent while billions go to hell?
--I would ask of your service to His kingdom in the church and through the church  --  are you a faithful, strong pillar of the church?  or have you been unfaithful and more worldly than spiritual?

I would tell you that there are many that are talking about prayer these days.  I am grateful for that which I have heard and seen and been a part of .  But this much I know, there must be multiplied efforts in these days for what we are facing.  'Saying' prayer, as is often done, will not prevail with God.   The characteristics of prevailing prayer is: desperate; urgent and fervent.  ARe these found among your prayer life and the prayer life of the church?

The 2 subjects that I have been bringing before the prayer partners is the SBC June meeting in Dallas and the Sermonindex Conference in October.   These are two events that will determine our fate after they meet.   A spirit of prevailing before these meetings will cause these meetings to be Divine.   A failure to prevail before these meetings will cause them to be just that, a failure.   I am not accepting of this, and I am moved by His Spirit to prevail.  I am resolved and renewed in my pursuit of these moments;  will you join me?

Yet, I know that the circumstances facing the church, our nation and our future is found in our response before God.  Our sins have greatly increased and continued in our nation and the church.  Too many hearts have unconfessed sin and fail and are ignorant in dealing with the specifics that have provoked the Lord to anger.   In personal times, church times, and corporate meeting times there must be a given time to deal with this properly.   But we are too busy, self consumed with our agenda rather than God's and the moments are missed.   We will never know till we get to eternity of how many Divine moments we missed because we missed God when He was directing us to humble ourselves, seek Him, confess before Him and renew in Him and by Him.

I am coming to you in this letter to appeal to you to consider joining me for these next months in deeper prayers and fastings.   The increase of remedial judgements the last two weeks have been alarming and I sense that in June we shall greater destruction and death for our neglect and refusal to seek Him with all our hearts.  The signs of these remedial judgements I share and speak often to point to God's judgement on us for our iniquity:
--drug epidemic;
--murder-suicide;
--police officers shot & killed;
--school/church/mass shootings;
--pestilence;

These have been the plagues on our nation for years now.  I hear little addressing the cause of these remedial judgements by the church.   But let there be n doubt, our sins have grieved and angered God and we are in serious times.  Because of His wrath that has gone out against us, everything in our existence is in jeopardy of being lost:
--religious freedom;
--health;
--future;
--blessings;
--safety;

In one fell swoop God can easily remove all this.  'Suddenly'  is that which is not foreseen, but God sends it as punishment for our neglect.  Therefore, knowing that God can, may and will do this to our nation and to the church, I also know that He has made a way for us to correct this.   He requires of us:
--Humble yourselves;  the great pride of our nation/& church & hearts must be put down;  He, and He alone must be waited upon and feared;  Look not to your own right hand, but Look unto Jesus;  Pride must be identified, humanism and all this and we must be humble before Him, Whom we have greatly offended.
--Seek Him;  a faithful spirit of worship, trust, fear, and love to draw to Him each day, moments each day and do all that is required of us to please Him;  obedience is found in this;
--Cleanse our hands and hearts;   We must know specifically wherein is our high offense; recognize it, confess it and repent of it;   With a renewed passion to remain in His Spirit and cleansed by His blood;  Perfection in Him and through Him;   How can He use or bless unclean vessels?
--Endued with power from on high;   Spirit filled lives is what makes all the difference.  Testimony and history have proved this time and again.  'Go into Jerusalem and wait until you be endued with power from on high';   Prayer and waiting and asking for the filling of the Holy Ghost;  And then to rise up in His power and strength and go forth and reap and bear fruit for His glory.

With so much at stake, and such desperate times I implore you to consider your response as we close this month and start into our summer months and to finish this year.   We are asking of you to join us in daily prayer for these spiritual issues that are upon us in our 24/7 prayer chain.   copy and past this web address to go and sign up for an hour each day, 1/2 hour/ or 15 minutes:

Other appeals from me to you:
1.  Call to Fall is a great opportunity for corporate churches to have focused prayer times and a opportunity to have a solemn assembly.  FRC started this years ago, and it is the first Sunday of July.
2.  Monday night prayer call for Revival with Edgar Reich at 9 PM (est);  Doug Small prayer call on Saturday nights at 9PM (est);  are a few example of joining others for prayer calls;
3.  Fasting - there is no greater need today that we prevail than to be serious about times before the Lord;  fasting leads us to the needed response;  I am asking you to join me on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month to fast as you are able in food and/or drink for God's mercy and help;

The hour is late and the need is great.  Please respond brethren while we have time.  We are running out of time.

Until,
