ACTIVITY OF GOD IN THE BIBLE - EXODUS

The Activity of God

Going through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, phrase by phrase and word by word to give attention to the following:
--the Names of God;
--the word & deeds of God;
--the sayings of God;
--the attributes of God;

Too often the churches weakness and the Christians weakness is found in this one sin, 'we do not know God'.  We have not studied the Bible, nor Him to learn more of Him.  Seeking that this might be a help for myself and others in this pursuit that each of us 'may grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord.'

EXODUS
Chapter 1
1:17  but the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.   the fear of the Lord;
1:20   therefore God dealt well with the midwives:  and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.  God deals well with His faithful;  God multiplies and makes mighty;
1:21  And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that He made them houses.   the fear of the Lord;  God establishes their lineage, makes them houses.  God blesses and preserves.
Chapter 2
2:23   Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.   God receives the prayers of the saints;  God sees the tears and hears the cries of the broken;
2:24   And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.  God hears the groans of His people;  God remembers His covenants and promises;
2:25   And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.   God looks upon His children and watches over them and watches them;  God has respect unto His Own, for He makes them worthy;
Chapter 3
3:1   he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.   God made the mountains, they are God's creation;
3:2   And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush:  and he looked and , behold the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  God appears by fire in the bush to Moses;  God is able to set fire, yet not consume the bush;  Nothing is too hard for God;
3:4  And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses.  And he said, Here am I.  God sees him;  God calls him;
3:5  And He said, Draw not nigh hither:  put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.   And God said/spoke;  God is holy;  God gives directive to Moses;
3:6  Moreover He said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.  And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.   And God said/spoke;  The Name of God -I AM God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  fear of the Lord;
3:7   And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason fo their taskmasters; for I know their sorrow.   and God said/spoke;  God sees affliction of His people;  God hears their cries of sorrow;  God knows their pain;
3:8  And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hititites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivities, and the Jebusites.  God comes down;  God delivers out of the hand of the enemy;  God brings them up out of the land to the promised land;  The earth is the Lord's and the fullness of it.
3:9  Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto Me:  and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.  And God said/spoke command for Moses to to;  God hears and sees the oppression and cries of His people;  
3:10  Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.   And God said/spoke command to Moses;  I will's of God to send Moses to deliver the people out of the hand of Pharaoh;  God's people to be brought out to bring in;
 3:12   And HE said, Certainly, I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee:  When thou hast brought froth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.  And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to promise to be with him;  God sends men;  God foretells the future that they shall return to this mount when they come out of Egypt;
3:14   And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:  and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM  hath sent me unto you.   Name of God - I AM;  And God said/spoke (2);  God gives directive;   God sends men;
3:15  And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God o f Jacob, hath sent me unto you:  this is My Name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations.   And God said/spoke;  God gives command to Moses of what to say unto people about His Name;  Name of God;  God sends men;  memorial unto all gnerations is a rememberance of Who He is;
3:16  Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt.  God gives directive for him to go to the elders of Israel and say unto them - the voice of the prophet;   Name of God;  God appears unto men;  And God said/spoke;  God visits His people;  God sees what happens to them;
3:17   And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, . . .unto a land flowing with milk and honey.   And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to fulfill His covenant in bringing them to the promise land;  God sees affliction upon His people and will bring them out;   God sees the promises land and foretells what shall be;
3:18   And they shall hearken to thy voice;  and thou shalt come thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us:  and now let us go, we beseech thee three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.   God foretells what shall unfold;  God meets with His people;  God gives directive to them;
3:19  And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.   God foretells of Pharaoh's hard heart and the use of His mighty hand to deliver them;
3:20  And I will stretch out My hand, and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in the midst thereof:  and after that he will let you go.  I will's of God to stretch out His hand against Egypt;  God shows His wonders of judgement;  God foretells what shall be;  I will's of God to do these things in the midst of them.
3:21  And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians and it shall come to pass that when ye go, ye shall not go empty.   I will's of God to give His people favour by their enemies;  God foretells how they shall leave ;
3:22  But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:  and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon you daughters, and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.   God foretells that they shall spoil them and what shall happen;
Chapter 4
4:1  they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee.  The Lord appears unto Whom He desires and will not appear unto those that He will not;
4:2  And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand?  And God said/spoke, great questions of the bible, in which God ask of man that which He already knows;
4:3  And He said, Cast it on the ground.   And God said/spoke;  God gives a directive to Moses to demonstrate power, signs & wonder;
4:4  And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. . . And it became a rod in his hand.  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses in performing the miracle.   God makes the staff to turn into snake and as he places hand on it by the tail, it turns back to a staff;
4:5  That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.  And God continues to speak;  God desire and purpose for His people, 'that they may believe in Him';  The Name of God, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob;  God appears unto Whom He desires;
4:6  And the Lord said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. . . and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses for miracle;  God demonstrates His power of changing man from clean to leprous;
4:7   And He said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. . .behold, ti was turned again as his other flesh.   And God said/spoke; God gives directive in power of sign and wonder;  God's power to take a hand and restore it from leprousy;
4:8  And it shall come to pass if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.  God foretells of the power of His miracles and signs for the people to believe and God knowing the heart knows what they believe and what they do not believe;
4:9  And it shall come to pass, If they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the  water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land:  and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.   And God continues to speak, foretell of what will be needed to prove to the people for them to believe;  God gives the first plague upon Egypt to lead to their deliverance;  God's power to turn water to blood;
4:10   And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since Thou hast spoken unto Thy servant   God speaks to His servants;  God knows who and what Moses can do;
4:11  And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth?  or who maketh the dumb or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind?  have not I the Lord?   and God said/spoke;  God asks questions of which He already knows the answer, but shows forth His power of creation;
4:12  Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.  And God speaks/says;  God gives direct to go;  I will's of God to be with His mouth and teach Moses what to say;
4:14  And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses and He said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother?  I know that he can speak well.  And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee, and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.  God is angry;  God asks questions to which He already knows answer;  God knows that he can speak well, God knows all things - Omniscient;  God foretells of that which is about to happen;
4:15  And thou shalt speak unto hm, and put words in his mouth;  and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.   God gives directive for when Aaron arrives and what they shall do;  I will's of God to be with him words and speak and teach what shall be spoken and taught;
4:16  And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people;  and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.  God gives instructions and directive in relationship between God and Moses, Moses and Aaron and Moses and Aaron and people;
4:17  And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.  God gives directive and instructions for what he is to do and use of the rod;
4:19  And the Lord said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt:  for all the men are dead which sought thy life.   and God said/spoke;  God gives directive that it is time for their deliverance;  God tells and appeases fears of Moses about threats on his life;  Omniscient, God knows all things;
4:20  and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.   power of God demonstrated through rod of Moses;  God uses such things of men to show forth His glory and power;
4:21  And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand:  but I will harden his heart; that he shall not let the people go.  And God spoke/speaks;  God gives directive to go and return;  to do all wonders that God has empowered him to do;  God foretells that He will harden Pharaoh and foretells that he will not let them go;  Omnipresence;
4:22  And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even My firstborn   And God said/spoke;  God's chosen children, proceeding from the Lord my son, my firstborn;
4:23  And I say unto thee, Let My son go, that he may serve Me:  and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.   And God said/spoke;  God's directive to let Israel go and serve Him;  I will's of God in this choice of punishment if he refuses to listen;  Prophetic word of ominpresence of firstborn dying the 10th plague;
4:24   And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him.  God meets His children for blessing or cursing;  ease or punishment; revive or rebuke;  God sought him to kill him;
4:26  So He let him go; then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.  God let him go in sparing for she did that which was right in His sight.  God sees and knows the blood of the covenenan of our hearts and lives is right or not and He will require it;
4:27  And the Lord said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.  And he went and met him in the mount of God and kissed him.   And God said/ spoke;  God gives directive to Aaron to go and find Moses in the wilderness.
4:28  And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.  God commands;  God speaks/spoke;  God sends;  God gives signs and wonders;
4:30  And Aaron spake all the words which the Lord had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs int he sight of the people.   And God said/spoke;  signs and wonders done that God had given them;
4:31  And the people believed:  and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.    God visits His people;  God looks upon their afflictions and sorrows;  God receives the worship of His people;
Chapter 5
5:1   And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Let My people go, that they may hold a feast unto Me in the wilderness.  And God spake/spoke;  God directive give to Pharaoh;
5:3   And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us:  let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord our God; let He fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.  God meets with His people;  God requires sacrifice of His people;  God can fall upon men with pestilence or war - God's wrath and anger;
5:21  And they said unto them, The Lord look upon you, and judge;  because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.  God looks upon men;  God judges men;  God knows all;
5:22  And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Lord, wherefore hast Thou so evil entreated this people?>  why is it that Thou hast sent me?   God hears and speaks with His servants;  even when they doubt and do not know the full weight of why and what God is doing;  God does not evil entreat His people;
5:23   For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Thy Name, he hath done evil to this people, neither hast Thou delivered Thy people at all.  God sees evil done to His people;  God is able to deliver His people;
Chapter 6
6:1   Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh:  for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of the land.   And God spoke/said;   God opens his eyes to see His plan against Pharaoh and Egypt;  God had already foretold him these things must be;  God has strong hand to make men do His will;
6:2   And God spake unto Moses and said unto him, I am the Lord:  And God spoke/said;  Name of God - I Am the Lord;
6:3   And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the Name of God Almighty, but by My Name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.   And God said/spoke;  God appears to men;  Name of God - JEHOVAH;
6:4   And I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage; wherein they were strangers.  God establishes relationship and covenant with them, His people;  God promised to give land of Canaan to Abraham's descendants;
6:5   And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered My covenant.   God hears groans of His people;  God sees their afflictions of bondage;  God remembers His covenant promises;
6:6   Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out  from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments.    God gives directive from Moses to people;  Name of God - I am the Lord;  I will's of God to bring them out;  to rid them of slavery;  to redeem them and God stretches out His hand with great judgement and wrath to fulfill it on Egypt.
6:7   And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.   I will's of God to take them as a people;  I will's of God to be their God;  God brings them out;
6:8   And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage:  I am the Lord.  I will's of God to bring them into promised land;  God swore in promise to fulfill it to forefathers;  I will's of God to give descendants inheritance;  Name of God - I am the Lord;
6:10   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,   And God said/spoke;
6:11   Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of the land.  God gives directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh to let people go;
6:13   And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.   And God said/spoke;  God gives charge to them to give to Pharaoh and children of Israel on His directive;
6:26   These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to bring out from Egypt;
6:28   And it came to pass on the day when the Lord spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,   And God said/spoke;
6:29   That the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord:  speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.  and God spake/said (2);  Name of God - I am the Lord;  God gives directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh;
Chapter 7
7:1   And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.  And God said/spoke;  God empowers men to make like a god in the eyes of the world, and God gives prophets;
7:2   Thou shalt speak all that I command thee:  and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.  God gives directive to speak all that He commands;  the Lord commands;  God foretells of Pharaoh's actions to happen - Omnipotent/Omnipresence;
7:3   And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.  God hardens men's hearts;  God multiplies signs and wonders on a nation/people;
7:4   But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay My hand upon Egypt, and bring forth Mine armies, and My people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.   God foretells Pharaoh's response to not listen to him;  for the purpsoe of God demonstrating His power to bring them out;   God judges nations;  Omnipotence/Omnipresence;
7:5   And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch forth Mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.   God's Name - I am the Lord;  God stretches forth hand to curse a nation, to bless His people and deliver them;
7:6   And Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded them, so did they.   The Lord commands;
7:8   And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying   And God spoke/said;
7:9   when Pharaoh shall speak unto you, syaing, Shew a miracle for you:  then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.   God gives directive of what shall be in conversation with Phraroah;  Omnipresent;  Power of God to make a staff become a snake;
7:10   And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord commanded; and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.   The Lord commands;  power of God to change a staff into a snake - Omnipotence;
7:12   but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods   God is victories over evil;  'Greater is He that is in us, that he that is in this world'
7:13   And He hardened Pharoah's heart, that he hearkened not unto them:  as the Lord had said.   And God said/spoke;  God hardens heart;  closes ears to not hear;  God foreknows - Omnipresence;
7:14   and the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive and reveals man's heart, which He knows;
7:15   Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water, and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come;  and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.   God gives directive to Moses;  God foretells Pharaoh's place tomorrow - Omnipresence;
7:16   And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness:  and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive;  God's Name - the Lord God of Hebrews;  God sends;  God reveals his refusal;
7:17   Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord:  behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.   And God said/spoke;  Name of God - I am the Lord;  I will's of God to change water into blood;  Omnipotence;
7:18   And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.  God foretells impact of water into blood;  Omnipresent;
7:19   And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters in egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.   God gives directive to Moses and Aaron;  God is specific in coverage of water into blood over all Egypt;  Omniportence;
7:20   And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded, and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sigh of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.   The Lord commands;  God turns water into blood - 1st plague;  Omnipotence;
7:22   and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the Lord had said.  God foretells - Omnipresence/Omniscient;  God hardens heart; and closes the ears to hear;
7:25   after that the Lord had smitten the river.   Lord judges nation/land;  God smites river;
Chapter 8
8:1   And the Lord spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to go and speak;  God gives directive to Pharaoh to let people go and serve Him;
8:2   And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs.  God gives choice;  God forewarns of choice;  I will's of God to smite a people/person/nation  God judges;
8:3   and the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:       God foretells of pending judgement;  Omnipresence/Omnipotence/Omniscience;
8:4   And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.   God forewarns and foretells impact of His judgement - Omnipotence/Omnipresence;
8:5   And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.   and God said/spoke;  God gives directive to bring forth frogs out of water;   Omnipotence;
8:6  and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt  Power of God in judgement upon person/nation/ people  Omnipotence;
8:10   that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the Lord our God   To know God;none other than Him;
8:12   which He had brought against Pharaoh.   God brought frogs against him;  God judges;
8:13   And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.   God answered Moses prayer;  God removed frogs;
8:15   as the Lord had said;   Omniscient/Omnipresent;  God hardens heart, closes ears;
8:16   And the Lord said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to give to Aaron;  God turns dust into lice across all of nation;  Omnipotent;  God judges;
8:17   all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt   God's power;  Omnipotent;
8:19   as the Lord had said   Omniscient;    
8:20   And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.   And God said/spoke (2);  God gives a directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh;  God knew where he would be - Omniscient/Omnipresent;
8:21   Else, if thou wilt not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses:  and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.   And God said/spoke;  God continues with directive of judgement upon him for disobedience;  I will's of God to bring judgement of flies - Omnipotent;
8:22   And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I ma the Lord in the midst of the earth.   I will's of God to sever His children from Egyptians;  Name of God - I am the Lord;  Omnipotent; Omnipresent;
8:23   And I will put a division between My people and thy people:  to morrow shall this sign be.   I will's of God to fulfill His Word and demonstrate His power;  Omnscient;
8:24  And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants houses, and into all the land of Egypt:  the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.  God did so;  God brought flies upon them as He had said;  Omnipotent;
8:27   sacrifice to the Lord our God, as He shall command us   The Lord commands;
8:31   And the Lord did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, there remained not one.   God did according to Moses pray;  God was intreated of him;  God removed flies;  Omnipotent;
8:32   And Pharaoh hardned his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.   God hardens the heart;  God knew that he would;  Omnipotent/Omniscient;
Chapter 9
9:1    then the Lord said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.   And God said/spoke (2);  God gives directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh;
9:2   For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still.   God's directive contains warning for continued disobedience;
9:3   Behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep;  there shall be a very grievous murrain.   God's power to bring judgement upon cattle with murrain;  OMnipotent;
9:4   And the Lord shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt; and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.   God's power to separate and protect His people's from theirs';
9:5   And the Lord appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the Lord shall do this thing in the land.   And God said/spoke;   Lord appointed set time to fulfill His Word; Omniscient;
9:6   And the Lord did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died; but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.     God destroys cattle of Egypt but protects cattle of Israel;  Omnipotent;
9:8   And the Lord said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.  and God said/spoke;  God gives directive for next plague;
9:9   And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.  God's directive to bring plague of boils upon all Egypt and upon all men and animals;  Omnipotentce;
9:10   and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beasts.  God's power to bring forth judgement/plagues;
9:12   And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them:  as the Lord had spoke unto Moses.   And God said/spoke;  God hardens heart;  as God had said - Omniscience;
9:13   And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, Let My people go, that they may serve Me.   And God said/spoke (2);  God gives directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh;
9:14   For I will at this time send all My plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like Me in all the earth.   I will's of God to bring forth more plagues and judgement upon the disobedient, to show His power;
9:15   For now I will stretch out My hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.  I will's of God to stretch out hand to judge;  God smites men/nations with pestilence;  God can cut off whole nations from the earth, from existence.   Omnipotence;
9:16   And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee My power; and that My Name may be declared throughout all the earth.   God raises up kings and men for His purpose;  God shows forth His power;  desire of God to have His Name declared and glorified throughout all the earth.
9:17   As yet exaltest thou thyself against My people, that thou wilt not let them go?   God asks a question to which He knows the answer of hist intent, for God knows the heart;  Omniscient;
9:18   Behold, to tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.   I will's of God to bring next plague of hail;  in such a way as never done before;  Omnipotence; Omniscient;   tomorrow - Omnipresent;
9:19   Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.   God's warning of severity of this judgement upon all the land, upon all men and beasts;  God forewarns of death to disobedient;
9:20   He that feared the word of the Lord - fear of the Lord; Word of the Lord;
9:21   he that regarded not the word of the Lord  fear of the Lord; Word of the Lord;
9:22   And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.    And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses for next plague;
9:23   And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven:  and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground;  and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.   God send storms;  God rained judgement upon land;  Omnipotent;
9:24 - 25  God brought it to pass;  Omnipotence;
9:26   Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.  God protected and delivered His children in the land of Goshen;  God is able;  Divine Providence/protection;  Omnipotence;
9:27   the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.   God is righteous;
9:29   that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord's   God created, and sustains the earth;  It is His';
9: 30  ye will not fear the Lord;  the fear of the Lord;
9:32  But the wheat and the rie were not smitten:  for they were not grown up.  The mercy of God;
9:33  spread abroad his hands unto the Lord and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.   God stops storms; receives prayers of His saints;
9:34  he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.  God hardens the hearts of the wicked;  Omniscient - God knows the hearts and the wills/intents of man;
9:35   And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go;  as the Lord had spoken by Moses.   And God said/spoke;  God foretold - Omnipresent;  God hardens his heart to not let them go - Providence of God - Omnipotent;
Chapter 10
10:1   And the Lord said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh:  for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these My signs before him:   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to give to Pharaoh;  God hardens hearts for His purpose;  God shows power and might in signs and wonders;
10:2   And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them;  that ye may know how that i am the Lord.  God gives directive to tell sons about His power and these works;  God wrought His power upon Egypt;  God's signs that He did among them;  God's Name - I am the Lord;
10:3   And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before Me?  let My people go, that they may serve Me.   And God said/spoke;  God gives question to Pharaoh to hear His directive;
10:4   else if thou refuse to let My people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coasts.  God foretells of next plague - Omniscient;  I will's of God to bring next plague of locusts - Omnipotent;
10:5   And they shall cover the face of the earth. . . they shall eat the resisdeu of that which is escaped. . . and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field.   God foretells what they shall do and show forth His power;   Omniscient; Omnipotent;
10:6   And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servant. . . which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day.   God foretells hos severe it shall be and all inclusive upon the land;  Omniscient;  Omnipresent;
10:12   And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive for next plague;
10:13   and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.   God brings forth wind, locusts and judgement;  Omnipotent;
10:14   very girevous were they, before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.   God fulfills His Word;  Omnipotent;
10:15  God fulfills warning;  Omnipotent; Omniscient;
10:19    And the Lord turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.   God turns winds; God removes locusts;  all-inclusive  not one left;
10:20   But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.   God hardens the heart;
10:21   And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses for next plague of darkness;  God foretells what it is - darkness;
10:22  and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.  God's power to take away light - Omnipotence;
10:27   But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.  God hardens his heart;
Chapter 11
11:1   And the Lord said unto MOses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterward he will let you go hence; when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.   And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to bring forth last plague of death;  God foretells that this is the final one and after that they shall go free;
11:2  Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her meighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.   God commands for them to spoil the people when they leave; God gives directive to Moses to give to people;
11:3   And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians.  God causes for His people to have favour among the heathen.
11:4   And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord.  About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt.  And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to go forth and bring death;
11:5   And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maid-servant that is behind the mill;  and all the firstborn of beasts.   God tells of the last plague and all inclusiveness of it upon Egypt; Omnipotence/Omniscient;
11:6   And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.   God foretells the impact on Egypt and deep the sorrow of judgement;  Omniscient;
11:7   But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast:  that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.  God foretells of distinction between Egypt and Israel;  OMnipotence to separate people and protect and deliver them, 'not even a dog to move against them' - Divine Protection;
11:8   And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee, and after that I will go out.  through Moses, God speaks to Pharaoh of that which shall be and happen - the work/word of the prophet of the Lord - it shall be;   Omniscient;
11:9  And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.   And God said/spoke;  God foretells of Pharaoh's response;  God's power to multiply wonders of signs and miracles;   Omniscient;
11:10  and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart - God hardens his heart;
Chapter 12
12:1   And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying    And God said/spoke;
12:2  This month shall be unto you the beginning of months:  it shall be the first month of the year to you .   God declares and sets the year and months; God's directive;
12:3   Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israe, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb. . . a lamb for an house.   God speaks to Moses to give directive to the people for the passover on the 10th day for each household.
12:4 - 6   God continues with directive regarding passover.
12:7  And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door posts of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.   God's directive to cover doorway with blood for protection;
12:8  - 10  God's directive for eating the passover;
12:11   It is the Lord's passover   God passes over is instituted;
12:12   For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn int he land of Egypt, both man and beast and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgement, I am the Lord.   I will's of God to pass over the nation;  to smite all firstborn not protected with blood of man and beasts;  to bring judgement upon false, demonic gods of the land;  God's Name - I am the Lord;
12:13   when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.   God sees blood;  I will's of God to pass over and spare and not destroy;  God smites the land;
12:14   God's directive to always be remembered and kept by Israel;
 12:15 - 16  God's directive for the unleavened feast;
12:17   this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt;  God brought them out; God gives them directive regarding feast of unleaven;
12:18 - 20   God's directive on keeping the feast;
12:23   For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.   I will's of God to pass over houses with blood; God sees those that are covered and those that are not;  God grants grace to the blood covered, wrath to the uncovered.
12:25  when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as He hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.  God promised land and to bring them there;  I will's of God to give them the land;
12:27   It is the sacrifice of the Lord's passover, Who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.  God passes over houses remembered;  God smote the Egyptian and delivered the children of Israel from them.   
12:28  and did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron so did they   the Lord commanded and gave directive;
12:29  that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.   God smote firstborn in the land, inclusive of all men and beasts;
12:36   And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians; so that they lent unto them such things as they required.   God gives favour to His people from their enemies;
12:43  And the Lord said unto Moses and Aaron   And God said/spoke the commandments in keeping the Passover;
12:44 -49   God gives directive in regards to the Passover;
12:50   Thus did all the children of Israel, as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.   the Lord commands;
12:51   that the Lord did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.   God brings out from captivity;
Chapter 13
13:1   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said/spoke;
13:2   God gives directive of firstborn;
13:3   for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place   God's mighty hand brings them out;
13:5   And it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites. . . which He sware unto thy father to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.   The Lord shall bring them into the promised land;  God swore unto Abraham, God cannot lie but will fulfill it;
13:8  This is done because of that which the Lord did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.  God's works remembered for what He did in power to deliver and bring them out;
13:9   for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth; for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.   God's Word to be in our mouths to speak and know;  God's hand brought them out, a strong hand of power;
13:11   when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as He sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shalt give it thee.   God will bring them in to promised land;  God sware unto Abraham;  God will give it to you;
13:12   the males shall be the Lord's   God will receive males in substitution for passover deaths in Egypt;
13:14   that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage.   God's mighty hand brought them out and delivered them from bondage;  He is able;
13:15   when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast:  therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males;  but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.     God slew all the firstborn;
13:16   for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt   God's might hand brought them out;
13:17   when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near, For God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt.   God leads the people along by His chosen path;  and God said/spoke; God foreknew their fear and return to Egypt if they saw war - Omniscient;
13:19   God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you   God visits His people;
13:21   And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night.   God goes with His people;  God went before them to lead them by the cloud day and night;
13:22  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night from before the people.   God did not take it away, God does not leave nor forsake His people;
Chapter 14
14:1   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said/spoke;
14:2 - 3   God gives directive to Moses to give to people to position them for the next miracle;  God foretells Moses what Pharaoh is going to do   Omniscient;
14:4  And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them;  and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his hosts; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord.    I will's of God to harden Pharaoh's heart to bring final judgement on them for their wickedness against Him and His people;  God's Name - I am the Lord, know Him;
14:8   And the Lord hardened the hearty of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel:  and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.    God hardens his heart;
14:13   Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day;  for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.   Salvation is of the Lord;  God will show them this day His mighty hand of protection and deliverance in saving them from their enemies;  Foretelling that Egyptians will no more be seen by them, God will remove them;   Omniscient;
14:14   The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.   God fights for His people;
14:15   And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto Me?  speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:   And God said/spoke;  God questions Moses and then gives directive of direction;
14:16  God gives directive in use of staff to separate water of Red Sea; Omnipotent; Omnscient;
14:17   And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them:  and I will get Me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.   I will's of God to harden his heart, to get honor by destroying those that rebelled and despised Him;  God's judgement and wrath;
14:18   And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten Me honour upon Pharaoh   Name of God - I am the Lord, know Him;  God will get honour from those that refuse to honor Him;
14:19   And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them;  and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them;   God sets forth from front to rear to protect Israel;
14:20   And ti came between the campe of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these; so that the one came not near the other all the night.   God separates His people from their enemies to protect and deliver;  God is light to His' children, but darkness to the lost;
14:21   And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.   God caused water to separate, strong wind to blow all night and dry the land - Omnipotent;  God's creation and power;
14:24   that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the hosts of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians.   God looks upon men;  God troubles wicked and enemies of His people; God's Presence in fire and cloud of pillar - Omnipresence;
14:25   And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily:  so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fighteth for them against the Egyptians.   God took the wheels of the chariots off;  God fights for His children;
14:26   And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to return the water upon their enemy;
14:27   And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his stregnth. . .and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.   God empowers Moses to show His power in returning the water;  God overthrows the enemy for victory for His children and His glory Name sake;
14:30   Thus the Lord saved israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians   the Lord saves from enemy, physical enemies and spiritual enemies;
14:31   and Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egypitans and the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord an His servant Moses.   God's works manifest to people to see;   the fear of the Lord;  Lord's servants are believed and followed;
Chapter 15
15:1   Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously;  the horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea.   The Lord receives the songs of praise of His children;  God has triumphed;  God throws His enemies into the depths;
15:2   The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation;  He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.   God is strength/power; salvation; and a song of melody;  He is to be exlated;
15:3   The Lord is a man of war:  the Lord is His Name.   God's Name - the Lord;  God wars against evil and the men that do evil;
15:4   Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath He cast into the sea:  his chosen captians also are drowned in the Red sea.    God cast them into the sea and drowned them in protecting and delivering His children;
15:6   Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power:  Thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.   God's right hand is power and defeats the enemy.
15:7   And in the greatness of Thine excellency Thou hast overthrown them that rose up against Thee;  Thou sentest forth Thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.   God is excellent in all His greatness;  God overthrows the enemy;  God sends for His hand of wrath that consumes the people;  Woe unto them!
15:8   And with the blast of Thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed int he heart of the sea.   God's breath and works to hodl the waters up for deliverance  Omnipotent;
15:10      Thou didst blow with Thy wind, the sea covered them;  they sank aas lead in the mighty waters.   God did blow, and the wind did cover;
15:11  Who is like unto Thee, O Lord, among the gods?  who is like Thee, glorious in holiness; fearful in praises, doing wonders?   Great questions of the bible asked to reveal how great the Lord is;  There is none like God;  God is holy, fearful and does wonders;
15:12   Thou strethcest out Thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.  God's right hand swallowed them with His creation;
15:13   Thou in Thy mercy hast led forth the people which Thou hast redeemed:  Thou hast guided them in Thy strength unto Thy holy habitation.   God is merciful;  God leads them and redeeems them;  God guides them in strength into His holy habitation.
15:16   Fear and dread shall fall upon them by the greatness of Thine arm they shall be as still as a stone;  till Thy people pass over, O Lord, till the people pass over, which Thou hast purchased.  The fear of the Lord;  God's arm shall show forth His greatness and bring the people over in safety;   He has purchased them;
15:17   Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Thine inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which Thou hast made for Thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which Thy hands have established.   God brings them into the promised land;  God makes them to dwell with Him there;  God's hands have established it;
15:18   The Lord shall reign for ever and ever.   God reigns for ever.
15:19  and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel wen on dry land in the midst of the sea.   God brought waters to destroy Egypt;  God gave dry land for His children of Israel;  Omnipotent;
 15:21   Sing ye to the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath He thrown into the sea.   God triumphs over His enemies;  God threw them into the sea under the water to defeat them;
15:25   And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet;  there He made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them.   men call, God answers;  God showed a tree to make the water sweet;  God gives statutes and ordinances to prove them of whether they will obey and follow Him or not.  God proves His people to reveal their heart;
15:26   And He said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give era to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord that healeth thee.   And God said/spoke through Moses;  God issues command to keep and obey;  God is able to send disease and keep disease away;   the God that brought it upon the Egyptians is able to heal and keep it away from His people;
Chapter 16
16:4   then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you;  and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My law, or no.    And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to rain food from heaven;  God gives portion for each day to prove them;  God gives command and law for them to obey;
16:5  God continues with directive for Sabbath food;
16:6   at even you shall know that the Lord hath brought you out from the land of Egypt   God brings them out;
16:7   And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the Lord; for that He heareth your murmurings against the Lord:  and what are we, that ye murmur against us?   God hears and sees their sin;  they shall His glory - manifest;
16:8   This shall be, when the Lord shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the Lord heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against Him   God gives meat and bread to the full, morning & evening;  God hears their murmurings;
16:9   for He hath heard your murmurings   God hears their murmurings;
16:10   the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud   God shows up;  manifest Presence;
16:11   and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said;/spoke;
16:12   I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel:  speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God     God hears their murmurings;  God meets their needs of meat and bread for morning & evening;  Know God;  Omniscient;
16:13 - 14   God gives meat and bread;  Provider;  Omnipotent;
16:15   This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat.   God gives bread to eat
16:16   This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded  The Lord commands;
16:23   This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord   And God said/spoke;  rest unto the Lord;
16:25  sabbath unto the Lord    rest unto the Lord;
16:28   and the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep My commandments and My laws?   the Lord commanded;  And God said/spoke;  God asks questions addressing their disobedience;
16:29   See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore He giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place ont he seventh day.   God gives double portion  for sabbath;  God gives sabbath for rest to the people;  God commands and gives directive;
16:32   This is the thing which the Lord commandeth. . . wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt   the Lord commands;  God gives directive to save manna;  the Lord fed them;  God brought them out;
16:34   As the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony to be kept.     The Lord commanded;
16:35 God fed them 40 years;  Omnipotent;
Chapter 17
17:1   according to the commandment of the Lord   the Lord commands;
17:5   And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in the thine hand, and go.  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses
17:6   Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in HOreb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink   I will's of God to go before them and stand upon the rock that will give water  God gives directive of what he was to do to get water;  Omnipotent - power to bring water out of a rock;
17:9 - 13   God gives victory to Israel over amalek with Moses rod;  hands up vicotry, hands down defeat;
17:14   and the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua; for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses;  I will's of God to put out rememberance of Amalek; remove from the earth;
17:15   And Moses built an altar and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi   Name of the Lord - Jehovah-Nissi;
17:16   F0or he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation    and God said/spoke; I will's of God to war against Amalek from generation to generation;
Chapter 18
18:1   When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel His people, and that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt;   God's deeds done;  God brought them out;
18:4   Eliezer, for the God of my father, said he, was mine help and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh.   God helps and delivers;
18:8     And Moses told his father in law all that the Lord had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the Lord delivered them.     all that God had done to egypt;  God delivers;
18:9   Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the Lord had done to Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.   God is good to His people;  God delivers from the enemy;
18:10   And Jethro said, Blessed be the Lord, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians   God delivers from Egyptians, from Pharaoh and people from Egyptians;  (3) deliverances by God;
18:11   Now I know that the Lord is greater than all gods. . . He was above them   God is above; no other gods but Him;
18:12   took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. . . before God   they came before God;
18:15   Because the people come unto me to enquire of God   God is enquired of;
18:16   I do make them know the statutes of God, and His laws   God's statutes and laws;
18:19   and God shall be with thee:  Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God   people and causes are brought before God by God's man;
18:21  such as fear God  the fear of the Lord;
18:23   If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so   the Lord commands;
Chapter 19
19:3  And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel.   And God said/spoke;  God called;  God gives directive to Moses to tell people;
19:4   Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto Myself.   what God did to Egypt;  God bare them to safety;  God brought them out and unto Himself;
19:5   Now, therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all  people:  for all the earth is Mine.   God gives directive to obey and keep His Word;  God foretells they will be above all other nations & pecuilar;  God's creation is all the earth;
19:6   God gives directive to be given to people;
19:7   which the Lord commanded him   the Lord commands;
19:9   And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever.  And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.   And God said/spoke;  God comes in thick cloud to speak to Moses for people to see and believe;
19:10   And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to prepare people for Divine visit.
19:11   the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai   God comes down;
19:12 - 13  God gives directive about Divine visit;
19:18   because the Lord descended upon it in fire and the smoke   God comes down upon mount;
19:19   Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice   God answers prayers;  call & answer;
19:20   And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount:  and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up    God comes down;  God calls Moses;
19:21   And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.  And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to give to people about this Divine visit;   not to gaze at God, lest they perish in disobedience;
19:22   And let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break forth upon them.   God gives directive to Moses about visit;  warning lest God break forth in wrath;
19:23  for Thou chargedst us say, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.   God charged them with directive;
19:24   And the Lord said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee:  but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the Lord, lest He break forth upon them.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive for people to not come up but only Moses and Aaron;  God warns again of breaking forth upon them in wrath for disobedience;
Chapter 20
20:1   And God spake all these words, saying   And God said/spoke;
20:2   I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.   God's Name declared - I am the Lord thy God;   God brought them out and delivered them from bondage;
20:3 -4  God's commandments;
20:5   for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;   God's commandments; God gives His Own attribute - a jealous God;  God visits the sin upon the sinners for generational;  God knows them that hate Him; Omniscient;
20:6   And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments.   God gives mercy and knows those that love Him and keep His commands;  Omnscient;
20:7   for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain.   God's commands;  I will's of God to hold them guilty that take His Name in vain;
20:8 - 10  God's commands;
20:11  For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day;  wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.   God created in 6 days;  God rested on 7th day;  God blessed and made it holy;
20:12   which the Lord thy God giveth thee   God's commands;  God gives the land;
20:13 - 17  God's commands;
20:20   And Moses said unto the people, Fear not:  for God is come to prove you, and that His fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.   God comes to His people to prove them;  the fear of the Lord to keep them from sin;
20:21   and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was   God abides in the thick darkness, shrouded;
20:22   and the Lord said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.   And God said/spoke;  God speaks from heaven to His people;  God gives directive to Moses to give to people;
20:23   God's commands;
20:24   An altar of earth thou shalt make unto Me,  . in all places where I record My Name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.   God gives directive of altar and offerings;  God records, marks His Name upon a place;  God comes there and receives their offerings and God blesses those that obey;
20:25 - 26   God gives directive on altar and offering;  God discovers secret parts;  Omnipresent;
Chapter 21
21:1   Now these are the judgements which thou shalt set before them.   God continues to speak and give directive to Moses to give to the people with His commands and statutes.
21:2 - 6   God's commands;
21:7 - 11  God's commands;
21:13   And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.   God delivers men into hands;  I will's of God to provide city of refugee;

Chapter 22
22:1 - 4  God's commands;

22:23  If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto Me, I will surely hear their cry    I will's of God to hear cries of widows afflicted;
22:24  And My wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword:  and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.   God's wrath wax hot against these that act wrongly against helpless;  I will's of God to punish them with death by sword;

22:27   For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin:  wherein shall he sleep and it shall come to pass when he crieth unto Me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.  God hears the cry of the needy;  God is gracious;  I will's of God to hear the cries of those in trouble;

22:29   the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto Me   God takes the firstborn from men and beast for the death of the firstborn in Egypt;

Chapter 23
23:1 - 3  God commands and gives directives;
23:4 - 5  God's commands;
23:7  Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not:  for I will not jusitfy the wicked.  I will's of God to do right judgement;  God holds the wicked accountable;
23:6 - 8  God's commands;
23:13  And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect:  and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to not mention other gods;  be true to what God has said;
23:9 - 13;  God's commands;
23:14  keep a feast unto Me in a year   God requires the feast unto Him, Who is worthy to receive it;
23:15  as I commanded thee, in the times appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt:  and none shall appear before Me empty:    the Lord commanded;  God receives and allows His children to appear before Him in worship;
23:17   Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord God.   God allows and commands males to appear before Him;
23:14 - 19  God commands;
23:20   Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.   God sends Holy Spirit to go before them and to keep them;  God brings them into promised land;  God prepares place for His people;
23:21   Beware of Him, and obey His voice, provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions;  for My Name is in Him.   God warns to beward and obey Holy Spirit;  Holy Spirit do not provoke,  He will not pardon sin;
23:22   But if thou shalt indeed obey His voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.   God promises that if we obey voice of Holy spirit and keep His commands, I will's of God that He will be an enemy to our enemies;
23:23   For Mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites. . . I will cut them off.   Holy Spirit shall go before them;  He shall bring them in to the promsied land;  I will's of God to cut off enemies of the land;
23:24  God commands;
23:25  He shall bless thy bread, and thy water and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee;  God blesses food and water;  God heals and removes sickness from His people;
23:26   the number of thy days I will fulfill   God's commands;  I will's of God to fulfill the days of His servants;
23:27   I will send My fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shall come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.   I will's of God to send the fear of the Lord against the enemies of His children to turn them back;  I will's of God to destroy their enemeis;  the fear of the Lord; OMnipotent;
23:28   And I will send hornet before thee, which shall drive out the . . . from before thee   I will's of God to send His hand against their enemies to drive them out from before them;  What God is able to do to our enemeis!
23:29   I will not drive them out from before thee in one year lest the land become desolate and the beast of the field multiply against thee.   I will's of God to not drive them instantly for their own posterity;  God knows such things;  Omnipresent; OMniscient;
23:30   By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.     I will's of God to drive them out over time;  and cause them to increase and give them the land promised to Abraham;
23:31   And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river:  for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.   I will's of God to set borders for the promised land, N-S-E-W;   I will's of God to deliver the heathen up into their hands for victory and rid them from the land;
23:32 - 33  God's commands;
Chapter 24
24:1   And He said unto Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.   And God said/spoke;  God gives invitation for him to come unto Him in the mount and worship the Lord; drawing near;
24:2   And Moses alone shall come near the Lord;   invite from the Lord for he alone to draw near;  other put away;
24:3   the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord hath said will we do.   people promise to keep and obey all the words of the Lord;  And God said/spoke;
24:4  And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.   And God said/spoke - the words of the Lord;
24:5 - 6  offering unto the Lord;
24:7  all that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.   the Lord hath said - And God said/spoke;
24:8   Behold, the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.   God makes a covenant with them; it is a blood covenant;  and God said/spoke;
24:9 - 11   Divine visit with God up on the mount;  they saw God (2) and His throne described;
24:12   And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to Me into the mount, and be there:  and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written, that thou mayest teach them.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses and invites him up into His Presence;  I will's of God to give him the table of stone of 10 commandments, which God wrote;
24:16   and the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days and the seventh day, He called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.   God's glory abiding upon the mounts;  God calls Moses and invites him into His glory; 7 days of purifying;
24:17  glory of the Lord;
Chapter 25
25:1  and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said,/spoke;
25:2 - 9  God gives directive on offerings for tabernacle;
25:8   And let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.   God gives directive make tabernacle;  God's desire to dwell among His people;
25:9  According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instrument thereof, even so shall ye make it.   God's shows the pattern of tabernacle and instruments to be used;
25:10 - 16   Making of the ark;
25:16   And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.   God gives His Word to be put into the ark;
25:17 - 22  Making of the mercy seat;
25:21   thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee   God gives commandments to put into ark;
25:22  And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat. . .of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.   I will's of God to meet with Moses upon the mercy seat and commune with His faithful servant and high priest;  the Lord commanded;
25:23 - 30   Making of table, spoons and setting of bread before the Lord;
25:30   And thou shalt set upon the table shew bread before Me alway.   God gives directive to set bread always before Him;
25:31 - 40   Making of candlestick and other tools;
25:40   And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.   God showed Moses exact pattern of each piece of tabernacle;  God gave directive to make it exactly like that which was revealed to him in the mount.
Chapter 26
26:1 - 6  God gives directive in making of the 10 curtains of fine twined linen for the tabernacle;
26:7 - 14   God gives directive in Making of 11 curtains of goat hair;
26:15 - 25   God gives directive in Making the boards for the tabernacle;
26:26 - 30   according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount   God showed him the plans; God gives directive on bars for tabernacle and commanded to rear it up;
26:31 - 35  God gives directive in making of vail and covering to set holy items in tabernacle.
26:36 - 37   God gives directive for covering and hanging in tabernacle.
Chapter 27
27:1 - 8  God gives directive in making altar;
27:8   as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it   God showed him the exact directions to be made; God gives directive to make it exactly;
27:9 - 19  God gives directive in hangings for the court;
27:20 - 21  God gives directive in oil for the lamp and the burning by the priests;
Chapter 28
28:1  - 5  God gives directive in making garments for Aaron and his sons;
28:3   whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make    God gives wisdom to make such things as the garments; embroidery;
28:6 - 14   God gives directive in making ephod; and what Aaron would be doing before Him;
28:15 - 29   God gives directive in making the breastplate;  And what Aaron would be doing before Him;
28:30  when he goeth in before the Lord. . . upon his heart before the Lord continually  God receives the high priest as he bears the judgement of the children of Israel before the Lord (2) mentioned;
28:31  - 35   God gives directive in making robes of high priest;
28:35   when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.   God allows for one man to come before Him in the holy place where God meets with the high priests;  coming in before the Lord unworthy, unannounced God would kill him;  fearful thing to come into the Presence of the Lord;
28:26 - 38  God gives directive to Aaron and priests for bearing the responsibility of the holy things;
28:36   Holiness unto the Lord     plate affirming Name of God and attribute of God;\
28:38   and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord   God accepts holy vessels, men and people;
28:39 - 43  God gives directive to clothing of Aaron and his sons and priests to follow them;
28:41   that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office   God allows for men to minister unto Him by Aaron and his sons and those that follow
Chapter 29
29:1  to minister unto Me in the priest's office   God allow for men to minister unto Him;  God gives directive to make them holy to do so;
29:1 - 14   God gives process of consecrating Aaron and his sons;
29:18   it is a burnt offering unto the Lord:  it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord   God smells the sacrifice;  God receives the offering;
29:25   for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the Lord:  it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.   God taste the sweet savour of the burnt offering;  God receives offering by fire;
29:15 - 28   God gives directive for consecrating by burnt offering for Aaron and his sons;
29:29 - 30   God gives directive about descendants of Aaron and his sons to be in priest role;
29:35   according to all things which I have commanded thee   the Lord commanded;
29:31 - 37   God gives directive for consecration of Aaron and his sons;
29:41    for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord    God smells and tastes sweet savour of offerings;
29:42  door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord:  where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee    I will's of God to meet the priest and to speak with Moses;   offerings offered before the Lord;
29:43   And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory.   I will's of God to meet the children of Israel and show His glory to sanctify them;
29:44   And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar:  I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to Me in the priest's office.   I will's of God to sanctify tabernacle, altar Aaron and his son;
29:45   And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.   I will's of God to dwell with His people and be their God;
29:46   And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them froth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them:  I am the Lord their God.   God's Name - I am the Lord their God;   God brought them out;  God's desire that they may know Him and that He may dwell among them;
29:38 - 46   God states His "I will's " toward His people and priests;
Chapter 30
30:1   - 10  God gives instruction for making altar;
30:6  I will meet with thee   I will's of God that He meets His people before at the altar;
30:10  it is most holy unto the Lord   that which is received by the Lord must be holy;
30:11   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,   And God said/spoke;
30:11 - 16   God gives instructions regarding taking count of people and receiving offering to the tabernacle;
30:17   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said/spoke;
30:17 - 21   God gives directive for basin to wash in before they approach unto Him;
30:22   Moreover the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,   And God said;
30:30   that they may minister unto Me in the pirest's office   God allows for men to minister unto Him through chosen priests;
30:22 - 33   God gives directive in making holy oil and anointing specific things and a warning;
30:34    And the Lord said unto Moses   And God said/spoke;
30:36   where I will meet with thee   I will's of God to meet with Moses and the priests in the holy place;
30:34 - 38   God gives directive in making perfume to be place in tabernacle before Him & warning given to people not to make the like;
Chapter 31
 31:1   And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said/spoke;
31:2    See, I have called by name Bezeleel the son of Uri, the son of  Hur, of the tribe of Judah.   God calls men;
31:3   and I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.   God fills men with His Spirit for wisdom, understanding, knowledge and workmanship knowledge;
31:6   And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of dan:  and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commended thee    God gives men ability and places within their hearts to do such things and the ability to do such things in wisdom;   the Lord commanded;
31:4 - 11  God states what these men shall make that He has given them ability to do;
31:11  to all that I have commanded thee shall they do   the Lord commands;
31:12  And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,   And God said/spoke;
31:13  - 17   God gives directive regarding Sabbath and warnings;
31:13   that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you   God sanctifies His people;
31:17   for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.   God made heaven and earth in 6 days - created;  God rested and refreshed Himself on the 7th;
31:18  And He gave unto Moses when He had made an end of communion with him upon mount Sinait, two tables of testimony, table of stone, written with the finger of God.   God gave the 2 table to Moses;  God wrote them with His finger.
Chapter 32
32:7   And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses and reveals that they have sinned;  Omniscient; Omnipresent;
32:8   They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I have commanded them   the Lord commanded;   God reveals what they have done;  Omniscient; Omnipresent;
32:9   And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people and behold, it is a stiffnecked people:   And God said/spoke;  God sees the people and what they shall be and foretells Moses;   Omniscient; Omnipresent;
32:10   let me alone that My wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them:  and I will make of thee a great nation      II will's of God to make of Moses a great nation and consume Israel in His wrath;   Power to consume a nation in a moment;   Omnipotent;
32:11   why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people which Thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?   God brought them out;  God demonstrated His great power and mighty hand;  Omnipotent;   God's wrath
32:13  and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.   I will's of God in promising the 2 aspects of the covenant;   And God said/spoke;
32:14    And the Lord repented of the evil which He though to do unto His people.   God repents of said response of wrath;   God's thoughts toward His people;
32:16   And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.    God's work, God's writings;
32:32   and if not, blot me, I pray Thee, out of Thy book which Thou hast written.   God has written in the book of life, and the books;
32:33   And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book.   And God said/spoke;  I will's of God to blot out the sinner from His book;
32:34   Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee:  behold, Mine Angel shall go before thee:  nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to lead the people to the promise land;  God goes before them/us;   I will's of God to visit them for their folly upon that day;
32:35   And the Lord plagued the people because they made the calf, which Aaron made.  God plagues the people and they die;
Chapter 33
33:1   And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart and go up hence. . . unto the land which I sware unto Abraham. . . saying, Unto thy seed will I give it.   And God said/spoke;  God sware unto Abraham (2);  I will's of God to give him the land;
33:2   And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite. . . I will's of God to send His angel before them, go before them;  & drive out heathen from the promised land;
33:3   Unto a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in the midst of thee, for thou art a stiffnecked people:  lest I consume thee in the way.   I will's of God to not go with them in the midst for they are wicked;   God could consume in the way for their sin;   God spoke plainly of their nature to sin; Omniscient;
33:5   For the Lord had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of ISrael, Ye are a stiffnecked people:  I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee. . .    And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses for them to take off their ornaments in which they sinned against Him;  I will's of God warning that for their folly He may consume them;
33:9   the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.   God comes down, descends and God talks with Moses;
33:11   and the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.  And he turned again into the camp; but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man departed not out of the tabernacle.    and the Lord said/spoke;   God speaks to Moses face to face;
33:12   Yet Thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in My sight.   and God said/spoke;   God knows His Own by name;  God gives grace to His beloved; God sees;
33:14   And He said, My Presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.   And God said/spoke;  God's Presence promised and goes with His Own;  I will's of God to give rest;
33:17   And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoke:  for thou hast found grace in My sight, and I know thee by name.   and God said/spoke;   I will's of God to grant Moses his request;  God gives grace, God sees; God knows by name;
33:19   And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the Name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.   and God said/spoke;  I will's of God to show forth all His Glory before Moses;  I will's of God to proclaim His Name before him;  I will's of God to give grace to whom he will (2);  & show mercy  to whom He will (2);
33:20   and He said, Thou canst not see My face;  for there shall no man see Me, and live.   And God said/spoke;  God warns that no one can see His face and live;
33:21   and the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by Me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:     And God said/spoke;  God tells MOses of place that he shall be;   Omniscient;
33:22    And it shall come to pass, while My glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with My hand while I pass by.    God continues to give directive to reveal His glory to Moses;  I will's of God to put him in cave and cover with His hand till His glory passes by;
Omnscient;
33:23   And I will take away Mine hand, and thou shalt see My back parts:  but My face shall not be seen.   God continues with directive to visit;  I will's of God to take His hand and reveal His hinder parts to Moses;  God warns no man shall see His face.
Chapter 34
34:1    And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two table of stone like unto the first:  and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.   and God said/spoke;  God gives directive to make 2 stone tables;  I will's of God to write the commandements on them as the first;
34:2 - 3   God continues with directive to Moses;
34:4   and went up unto mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him and took in his hand the two tables of stone    the Lord commands;
34:5   And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of the Lord.   God descends & proclaim His Holy Name  and stand with Moses there;
34:6   And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,    God Presence passes by and God proclaims His Name and His attributes -- the Lord God; Mericful; Gracious; Longsuffering; Abundant in Goodness and Truth;
34:7   Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.  the Name of the Lord and His attributes continue -- Keeps Mercy; Forgives iniquity, transgressions and sins;   I will's of God to not forgive, nor dismiss guilty but warns that He will judge them and it shall be upon their children to 3rd and 4th generation;
34:10   and He said, Behold, I make a covenant before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation:  and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the Lord:  for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.    and God said/spoke;  God makes a covenant with Moses and Israel;  I will's of God to do marvels unlike anything else ever done;  God works among His people and for His people;  I will's of God to do great things  for all the earth to see and know;
34:11   Observe thou that which I command thee this day:  behold, I drive out before thee the nations    the Lord commands;  God drives out the heathen from before them;
34:12   Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee    God's warning to take heed that they do not align themselves with heathen, for it will lead them astray;
34:13   God continues with directives in this warning to Israel against heathen nations;
34:14    For thou shalt worship no other god:  for the Lord, whose Name is Jealous, is a a jealous God:    God continues with warning;  God's Name - Jealous;
34:15 - 17   God continues with warning and directives against the heathen of the land;
34:18   as I commanded thee   the Lord commands;
34:18 - 28   God continues with directives and commands for Israel;
34:24   For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders;  neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shal go up to appear before the Lord thy God thrice in the year;    I will's of God to cast out the heathen from before them;  take away desire for any to want their land or come against them;
34:27   And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words:  for after the tenor these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.   And God said/spoke;  God gives directive to Moses to write it down to remember the covenant;
34:28   And He wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.   God writes the 10 commandments upon the stone;
34:29   Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him   God talks with Moses and His glory emnates upon Moses face;
34:33   all that the Lord had spoke with him in mount Sinai   And God said/spoke/commanded;
34:34   that which He was commanded    the Lord commanded;
Chapter 35
35:1   These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that we should to them    And God said/spoke;  the Lord commanded;
35:4  This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,   the Lord commanded;
35:10  and make all that the Lord hath commanded   the Lord commanded;
35:29   which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses    the Lord commanded;
35:30   And Mose said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Ur    God calls men to the work;
35:31   And He hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.   God fills men with wisdom for His purposes;
35:34   And He hath put in his heart that He may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.   God puts within the heart ability to learn and do;
35:35   Them hath He filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.   God fills men with wisdom and ability to do the work in all these things.
Chapter 36  
36:1  Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.   God put wisdom of workmanship in these men;  the Lord commanded;
36:2   And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:    God put wisdom to do cunning work;  God stirs up the heart;
36:5   which the Lord commanded to make    the Lord commands;
Chapter 37
No activity of God.  1st chapter of Exodus;  5th chapter in the Bible;
Chapter 38
38:22   And Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the Lord commanded Moses.   the Lord commanded;
Chapter 39
39:1   And of the blue, and purpole, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the Lord commanded Moses.   the Lord commanded;
39:5   as the Lord commanded Moses    the Lord commanded;
39:7   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
39:21   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
39:26   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
39:29    as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
39:30   HOLINESS TO THE LORD   the Lord's Name and Attribute is HOLY;
39:31   as the Lord commanded Moses, so did they   the Lord commanded;
39:32   and the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they   the Lord commanded;
39:42   According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.   the Lord commanded;
39:43   they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it:  and Moses blessed them.   the Lord commanded;
Chapter 40
40:1   and the Lord spake unto Moses, saying   And God said/spoke;
40:2 - 16   God gives directive to Moses to put and place and anoint Aaron and his sons and the things of the tabernacle;
40:16   Thus did Moses according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he.   the Lord commanded;     
40:19   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:21   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:23   as the Lord had commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:25   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:27   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:29   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:32   as the Lord commanded Moses   the Lord commanded;
40:34   Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.   God filled the tabernacle and His glory was over it and within it.
40:35   because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.   God filled the tabernacle and abode upon it;
40:38   For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernalce by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.  God's cloud of His Presence by day and night to guide them and reside upon the tabernacle for their protection and direction.
