Greetings,
"The dream of Pharaoah is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what He is about to do. . . v. 28 What God is about to do He sheweth unto Pharaoh." Genesis 41:25 &28
Most are not interested in what God is getting ready to do, they are only interested in what they are getting ready to do. The interest of self is predominant and we lose the activity of God. But lives were at stake here, a whole nation was at stake; Abraham's descendants were at stake. the famine was coming, they would die if they did not respond. And God used Joseph to accomplish deliverance for a wicked nation, and for the covenant children of Abraham. Isn't what God is getting ready to do, more important than what we are getting ready to do?
Then let us give a moment to understand this. God reveals such things to those that give ear; to those that will 'be still and know that I am God'. Give ear to the Lord and listen to Him. HE reveals His plan and works to set His people to prayer. The examples of this our numerous throughout the Bible. And in my own life, the Lord is teaching me this as well. Last September, on that eve of evil when the Spirit came upon me as a warning of 'what God was getting ready to allow'. Several times since then it has come. A warning of what God was getting ready to do or allow. This past August through October and the warning of two hurricanes back to back, the mass shooting in October God spoke and revealed what He was about to do.
The response and reaction of God is directly related to the response and reaction of God's people. Our right response and the need is met and people are spared; the wrong or no response and the destruction comes. Had Pharaoh not listened to Joseph what would the response had been? It would have been death. Had Nineveh not listened to Jonah the prophet, what would that response have been? It would have been 40 days and then destruction. How much more then, when God sends remedial judgements for the sins of the land and God's Own people do not respond to the provocation against Him and His ways. Greater judgement is what God is getting ready to do if God's people do not humble themselves, seek Him and repent.
HE has shown us a glimpse of the mighty judgements when His hand stretches out to afflict and assault. He has shown us His mighty Word when He speaks against a people to destroy them. Why will wait for that when we have time right now to seek Him for mercy and grace. See what God is getting ready to do through what has already been:
--destruction of a generation and portion of the population through drugs;
--record numbers of death on the streets; homicides;
--murder-suicides consistent on all levels and areas;
--more mass and public shootings in public, school, venues;
--perversions and abuse of evil across the board;
--terrorism, war, enemy from within and from without;
--police death/political turmoil and upheaval leads to anarchy, chaos and unrest in population
Why?
--laws contrary to God's ways;
--judicial edicts legalizing abominations;
--choices and standards of our nation that increase evil and promote sin;
--church as guilty of failure to respond due to apathy, lack of discernment and filthy;
Sin increases due to the lack of hearing and knowing what God is getting ready to do. Satan steam rolls forward to this end of death, destruction and dying. The death of a nation will be found when God's people are made deaf and cannot hear the Word of the Lord to know what He is getting ready to do. EArs are tuned into the world and they refuse to hear Him. And again, our time is running out; but know this, the Lord hath revealed what He is getting ready to do. It is only a question now if we will respond rightly.
Prayer Targets:
--Dec. 5, oral arguments were heard; I was much pleased to see more and hear more, via social media of church leaders recognizing the significance of this decision. However, I do not know the depth of prayer that was or should have been offered. The days now, are for the justices to weigh and consider before they seal their ruling. Much prayer until that moment it is sealed. Political insight is that it falls on Justice Kennedy for swing vote.
--Trump sets Jerusalem as capital of Israel; US embassy to be moved there; this will and has set off a huge firestorm in the Islam world. Just know that terrorism and war is increased with this one choice.
--Evil reigns of this year of conflict - ISIS; Boko Haran; & North Korea;
--Teacher & student sex - the epidemic that will push the agenda of our nation to legalize age of consent lower and lower; this flood of evil will continue, has continued despite, jail etc. Lust, lasciviousness and perversion is the stroke of this sin, and another clear sign of God giving us over to a reprobate mind. the damage done ot children continues to fulfill the plague of eroding innocence, naiveness and healthy upbringing of the next generation.
--natural calamities - CA wildfires again; 10,000's of acres, homes;
--pestilence - Hepatitis A in CA;
--economy - Dow Jones continues to set records; this is worst than a volcano, I cannot figure out who's profited except banks; but the next time is crashes like 2007, it will be global crash; This bitcoin may play some role into it.
--drugs - the continuation to legalize and promote is the new remedy; You would think after so much destruction and death, that men of intelligence would see that eradication of drug use is the only answer. No, they will legalize it and make profit off of it, like they did with overturning prohibition.
Updates:
--bible readings started again; finishing Genesis; word studies marking this time is 'holy' & 'destroy/devour';
--word/phrase study of the bible; 47th time through is up through the middle of Mark;
--a Word - was able to get back to this at the end of November, as I have been sidelined with a pulled back; so far here in December all but 1 day, up through Isaiah 49:1 - 11 started, 1/2 finished;
--sermons from Sunday hit a tech snag, and only Fox's Hollow was recorded and uploaded to youtube page; "Immediately" which is found in Mark 15 times;
--danbiser.blogspot.com works only minimal have I got to work on them - 'The Prayer Life' & 'the contrast of God's action/reaction'
--hope to do a facebook live to update
--24/7 prayer chain it is our greatest weapon and need for this hour
