Greetings,
"Lest they should believe and be saved. . . which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away" - Luke 8:12, 13
God's desire is that men would believe and be saved completely. and in this world of lies and half truths, from Satan and hell, they subvert this meaning of 'believe' and simply extend to lost souls, 'believe and be saved'. and how many lay their salvation on this half truth. For the questions is not what you believe? or Who/whom you believe in? It is what you believe about them. Remember the Word of God teaching us these warnings of 'believe'.
'Thou believest that there is one god; thou doest well; the devils also believe and tremble" - James 2:19
'Believest thou the prophets? I know that you believe' Yet King Agrippa said, 'Almost persuadest thou me to believe' Acts26
The devils believe, Agrippa believed, yet it was not enough that they believe if they were not anchored and continual in it. I say 'continual' for we read in the parable of the sower and the seed in Luke 8 that the second group believed also, but when difficult times came, they fell away. Demas believed, and yet Paul condemns him by saying, 'Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world.'
Let us be rooted and grounded in believing the whole truth and remaining faithful. Let us believe in faith the certainty of those things which having not seen yet, are seen and shall be seen soon enough. For every soul that dies, that which they accepted, rejected or fell away from becomes certain in absolute reality. Believing by faith that which the Bible has declared, that which men have given their lives for, that which Christ has accomplished so we too that hear may believe and be saved.
Too many of false conversion and defiled religion are anchored in 'I believe'. Yet, their life is in sins, in unbelief, in flesh, and yet they become offended if any question is brought to them in the double life standard of saying 'I believe, but I live like the world.' The confession of what we believe must be the same as what we live in and for and through. 'Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate' means don't say you believe then continue in the world and of the world. This double standard excepted by the church is as dangerous a blasphemy and heinous crime of apostasy.
the right standard is 'I believe, therefore I will live.' "I believe therefore will I follow Him, no turning back'. "I believe, therefore will I live like Him." And this right believing is to say it and yield/surrender to Christ all the days of our life. LEt us be found faithful in great and small things of this life. With so many things against us in this life, remember that Christ has promised a spirit of overcoming: 'and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb.' Be thou faithful to what thou believest.
Prayer Targets:
--shootings - last prayer email, as I shared on facebook live stream, I told the account of what happened one hour after the Spirit moved me to add 'mass shooting, school shooting' the New Mexico high school shooting took place an hour or two after I sent the prayer email;
there will be more, as I fear the flood of evil is now at the tipping point of remedial judgements for our refusal and disobedience to respond when God gave us time.
More church shootings and/or bombings.
--terrorism - threats in NYC have escalated and I have no doubt, that remedial judgements will be more in the near future;
--it seems I've finally found the economic collapse - the American Jubilee - the move that the government will take to 'forgive' all debts of schools, auto, etc. will collapse stock market and numerous investment business, worse than 2007- 2008; I do not have access to someone in economic that I can run this by and question/answer, if you do, please send them my way;
--transgenders allowed to enter military; another provacation and will have tremendous response from the Lord as we move towards this evil;
--Supreme Court case announced in June, 2018;
--Pentagon has gone against Trump to allow transgenders to enlist starting January 1; again, no repentance and a continual flood of evil is allowed and continues; we've lost ground not gained ground; remedial judgements in answer for defiance;
--drugs - (est) over 70,000 deaths in 2017; continual rise and removal of entire generations;
--natural judgements - CA first at record setting pace for close of this year; wait and watch on earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.
--political arena - Alabama the latest in the divided nation; Moore, who stood for keeping the 10 commandments in his court room, removed from office; politically targeted. Now in the aftermath to see how much of these accusations were true. Full weight of actors, liberals, all over the nation set up to make sure he did not win. This will continue. And as we faced it with Trump & Hillary - the "Lesser of Two Evils" continues as choice for our future. another part of our remedial judgements for leaders and future decisions that will affect the next generation

--A Word - I have been able to do over 100 verses this year, as I prepare to close out; I'm in Isaiah and have finished several chapters. However, for those that follow, you also know that there are numerous ones started, but not finished. a very taxing and time consuming project. Out of 32,000 verses in the bible, I have 1200 started.
