CALL TO SOLEMN ASSEMBLY II - PREVAIL IN PRAYER

Greetings,
"And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel:  for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed."  Genesis 32:28

During these days, we are at a season of absolute need for the church to prevail in prayer before God.  Not that we haven't been that way before, its just that we see the handwriting on the wall for our future as a nation and the state of the church.   We read in the above Scripture of Jacob, that after he had wrestled with the angel, this blessing of prevailing with God and man was pronounced over him.  Jacob was blessed to be one of few that had prevailed with God and with man.  Such prevailing men are very much needed in our day.  And such a prevailing spirit through prayer lies in God alone.  God looks for a man to step before Him and prevail for His purposes.

We see this prevailing in several Biblical accounts.
1.  Hezekiah had been told by God through His prophet, Isaiah, 'to get his house in order, for he was going to die.'  But upon that word from the Lord, Hezekiah turned his face to wall and wept and pleaded.  And he prevailed with God for extra life.

2.  Moses stood before God and the children of Israel had sinned greatly against Him.  God's anger waxed hot against them and He pronounced that Moses was to step aside and He would consume all of them in a moment.  Yet, Moses, stood before God and prevailed for God to repent of the evil that He had said and allow for Israel to be preserved.

3.   Elijah prevailed before God in the confrontation between him and Baal prophets of Jezebel.   They failed in their prayers to call fire down to consume the sacrifice.  But Elijah prevailed to bring fire down, and bring rain after over 3 years of drought.   And the people shouted, "The Lord, The Lord, He is God alone."

God's men prevailed in prayer before the Lord God.  There is a desperate need for men of God to prevail in like manner for God's power, mercy and filling of His Holy Ghost.  It is the most desperate hour for our future.   Many in the church do not seem to understand the fragile times we are in.   There must be more of a fervent, urgent prevailing prayer before its too late.   And as Ravenhill said, 'somewhere, someone, must get serious about being serious about the most serious thing in all the world.'  Brethren, that is upon you and I.   We must step forward to seek, ask, find, call, plead, and labor for His Divine mercy for the souls of the lost, for the advancement of His kingdom through His church and for the Divine leading for each of us in these days.

Too long we have sought humanism as our weapon of warfare, laced with a little Scripture and seeking God to bless us in our endeavors.  We must return to His way, His will and His work through His anointing and leading.   One would think that with what we have seen and heard in these days, that there would be an impassioned effort to do such; but alas I do not see it.   Although we know the remnant has been and is laboring for our Lord faithfully.   And thank God for each that has continued these weeks, months and for some years in beseeching Him and crying out to Him.   Their motto has been, 'they give Him no rest day nor night.'   Such is the need for this hour from the body of Christ.

Back in April, 2020, during the last weekend, we set froth an example and precedent for a Solemn Assembly.  The need of the hour is still to call the people to gather, to make them aware of their abominations, the reason of our judgements upon our land, homes, and minds and hearts of  men.  We have provoked the Lord God to anger and He, after decades of restraint is now moving to consume us in our sins.  What we have sown, we are now reaping.  And yes, we do deserve it! for we have sinned greatly against the Lord in our laws, judicial edicts and daily happenings of our nation.   There has been little restraint to sin, abominations.   We have reached Epidemic stats of death, dying and destruction for our 'greater abominations'.   There must be a response by the church.

And in such an hour, we are allowed, and invited to 'come boldly before the throne of grace and seek His help for this time of need."   For who knows if He will not turn and leave a blessing behind Him for our benefit to stay our desolation.  WE are to set forth to make every effort to right our wrongs and amend our ways and doings before Him.   It must begin with the church; with you and I.  During those days of April there was anointed preaching and teaching on these things.  But a labor of prayer was not employed, as perhaps what we should have done.   We will seek again to gather the church to cry out and set forth a spirit of prevailing prayer.

When all is said and done in our time, through death, judgement, revival or whatever the Lord allows; my heart and my mind is fixed, 'Did I do everything that I could have done for our nation, future, my children, grandchildren, my Lord's kingdom?'    I will not be one that did not employ this powerful weapon of our warfare -- PREVAILING PRAYER!!   Therefore I am seeking the following:

PROPOSED:
August 28 - 30:  Friday evening through Sunday evening;
To have hour after hour filled with praying and instructing in these very points that need to be presented.  and to have the body join us in their respective places to cry out to the Lord in their secret closets.
Friday - 6 PM - 9 PM;
Saturday - 6 AM - 9 PM;
Sunday - 1 PM - 9 PM

As we did the 1st one, so we will do a live stream platform for the body of Christ to join us.
Each speaker will have an hour to teach, preach or share what the Lord has given them, and then lead us into prayer points, targets and petitions and intercessions to prevail before the Lord.
A labor of prayer to prevail before God, for His church, kingdom work and servants.  A labor of prayer for removal of sin from our midst and that we are made holy.   A labor of prayer to prevail for the lost.

I will be contacting speakers over this week, to secure about 15 - 20 to help in this.   We will then proceed to promote a gathering of the body to join in prayer.  It may be that it compliments 'The Return" to be held September 26.   But it is an effort to prevail this month for we know not what is coming or how long we have,  a response is desperately needed for God to grant us His Holy Ghost in fullness and power.   IN a moment He can change it all for His glory.

Until,
Dan Biser
