PRAYER BLOG - NOVEMBER 3

Greetings,
"Yet ye have forsaken Me, and served other gods:  wherefore I will deliver you no more."  Judges 10:13

Is this not one of those most horrible verses in the Bible?   It is to me the scariest moment when God cuts Himself off from men, or God cuts off men.

The Problem - in verse 6, 'the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord and served Baalim.. . and forsook the Lord and served not Him."
There are 3 sins to be identified here:  1.  they did evil again;  continual practice of sin against the Lord;  2.  served Baal and other gods, and served not the Lord;  3.  they forsook the Lord.

The Response - because of their sin, the Lord responds by telling them that because they forsook Him and served other gods, He would no longer deliver them nor help them.  Do we understand that to provoke the Lord to this point is foolish?   That when you get to this point, there is no guarantee of the Lord's mercy.   I do not believe we understand this.

The Peoples response - they cried unto the Lord, they repented of their sins, v. 16;   They did it right.  Although we know it to be better to not put oneself in that place anyway.    Yet, I believe because they did seek the Lord, and did it right by putting away the evil, they found the Lord's mercy and grace.   He did deliver them;  He did raise up a deliverer.

what is necessary for us to understand and apply from this Scripture?   The Lord will not tolerate being forsaken.  Yea, the worst attribute of God, is when God reciprocates our response back to us.  And in this case, 'you have forsaken Me; now I will forsake you.'   and He did as we read in the book of Jeremiah.

We give ourselves to other gods, all the while (as the church) we promote our allegiance to Christ.   We serve self; money; sport; entertainment; family and like merit of other things takes time, money, energy, and opportunities away from God and gives them unto our false god.   The church in North America follows an error or thinking that substituting the things of God and the kingdom for selfish things is ok .   Not understanding all along that we are committing the same act of evil that they did in Judges 10.

And that our nation is under greater guilt because they have cast off the good, and right ways of the Lord and forsaken him.    We are in jeopardy of Him forsaking our nation completely and allowing for EPIDEMICS  to annihilate us.      We already see multiple signs of this truth, in every aspect of our nation and society.
thus putting the more urgent need upon the church to respond rightly and quickly to turn back His fierce wrath from us.   The failure of the church to respond will only seal the result of God's wrath upon us.   this is the reason that I have been dealing with the blog posts on "Revival and/or Judgement".   It is simply trying to understand where we are and what's next.

the only thing to bring from understanding this is that we are not placing ourselves harms way as Israel did, by doing great evil against 'the Lord again'.   For if the Lord does forsake us completely then what hope is there.   Thus the great compulsion to plead and prevail with the church that they will respond to the Lord's remedial judgements and put away the evil and draw night to receive His deliverance.  Or else, the Lord shall deliver us into the hands of the enemy to kill, steal and maim.
We have a choice, and our lives must be saturated in prevailing prayer and holy before HIm.   Thus separating ourselves from the world and joining ourselves in obedience ot what the Spirit says.

Learn a lesson from history and let us not be guilty of repeating the same folly of Judges 10.

EPIDEMICS:
1.  Drugs -

2.  Cancer - from the prayer lists, around 15 names and conditions;  one surgery and great answered to prayer;  other surgeries, treatments and recovery still before us before the end of the year;  1 man passed away last week;   he had a stroke months ago, the cancer they did not disclose to any one, knew about a week ago, and he was gone within that week;   but this man had sat at my table for bible study and we had thoroughly discussed salvation and the eternity;

3.  Great Evil - great rise in murder-suicides;  school shooting and 1 death;

4.   LGBT

5.  Children neglect, abuse and sex trade

6.   Natural Disasters

Still leaning that the #7 epidemic will be pestilence.    War or pestilence are the two remaining judgement of Scripture that is not upon our nation.

prayer targets:

Venezuela crisis;  100,000's fleeing and in desperate trouble;
2.   Italy with flooding;  Indonesia with flooding;
