Greetings,
"and it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed, and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed." Exodus 17:11
PREVAIL. . . it is my supreme focus now. Left with the questions of: 'why have we not prevailed?' "why no revival?" "why is evil increasing and flooding?" "why no power in the church?"
Isn't it odd that this entire battle of Israel against the evil Amalekites is hinged on one man? and that battle is determined by one man, and whether his hands are held up or let down, for victory or for defeat. In any revival that is recorded, one man, one woman prevailed with God in the secret closet and then it was ushered forth to the corporate body in fullness. Who is that 'one' that is able to prevail with God and men?
And yet, in the midst of a nation being systemically destroyed from the inside out, we see little urgency upon the church. a demise and destruction is on the horizon for our future unlike anything we have seen or known of before; and it all, I believe hinges on someone to prevail. The evil in our headlines is increasing in greater, more rapid fashion upon our land through remedial judgements. And my fear is that we are running out of time to prevail. Even in the midst of this moment of our year, the school shooting in FL still tender and an uproar, there is another wave of calamity coming through another school shooting, mass shooting, church shooting, natural disaster, war, something of destruction, death and dying to add to this continued remedial judgement on us until we humble and repent.
In the heat of the moment following the 2 hurricanes, the wildfires, the flooding, the mass shootings, the church shooting last fall, there was listening ears and nodding heads. But the application of calling for prayer that is needed to address our sins, repent of the evil and humbles ourselves before the Lord was only found in agreeing speech, but not active setting into motion. Many in the church leadership and prayer leadership agreed that we are under great remedial judgements, but as to call for solemn assemblies, and active prayer times that would bring these evils to light and the call to put them away is not to be found. One really has to ask, what will it take for us, as the church, to humble ourselves to prevail with Him, in wrath remember mercy?
But this much I know, one can prevail. And two can help each other, and a cord of three shall not be easily broken. 'Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there I am". and is that not enough? Where you are, with 2 or 3 gather and seek, and call, and humble yourselves so as to prevail. Go and sit and listen for the stirring of the wind in the mulberry trees that shall usher forth victory. Go, you two of Aaron and Hur and help hold up the hands of Moses so as to prevail and give victory over hell, evil and death.
PRAYER TARGETS:
--drugs;
--cops being shot and killed; in February the last count I saw was a total of 9 died;
--murder-suicides - somewhere between 5 - 10 in Feb. This judgement is so detrimental to our society. Such deep wounds to family, community as these continue and increase. It is such, one of the great evils of our day.
--teacher/student sex; these reports have drastically twindled. Will wait to see if they are dormant, or whether a lull before the next wave.
--economy; fluctuation in so many areas, watching to see of next crisis;
--war in Syria; this increase of so many nations, on top of each other in such close proximity is all but certain that another act that will send major war into region and possibly war.
--Boko Haran ^& ISIS - #1 enemy is Boko, captured 100 girls for hostages; continues to inflict evil on region with none to stop him.

--Christian Life Committee this past Tuesday for WVCSB; focus on drug issue in WV; I did a blog posts to cover 4 issues on my heart for this;
--March 11 - prayer conference in Upper Ohio Valley association; pray for this time together;
--PREVAIL - sermons the last two weeks have been my overflow in study on this of what the Lord is teaching and saying to me; these sermons at both Fox's Hollow and Keyser are uploaded to youtube page; Keyser church sermon from the last 4 times Prevail was used in NT; 2 in Acts; 2 in Revelation; Fox's hollow sermon was on the victory promised in prevailing by God, in Jeremiah;
--sermonindex revival conference is scheduled for this October in CA; I've been asked to moderate this time; prayer conference call was this past Saturday; much prayer needed to secure God's Divine leading and covering on this opportunity;
--word/phrase study - T - 58 pages to go; up through II Timothy; this is my 47th time through;
--seeking a paticular building here in Keyser, that the Lord has placed on my heart to have for a prayer center; asking you to join me in prayer for His will to be done;
--March, another visit to DC; last week we took Jacob and Philip to a Micahel W Smith concert in DC at the Bible Musuem; this is not my interest, but it was a birthday present for him and it was all good; But the next trip is set for a White House visit with Jacob's school class; hoping once again to share with Sen. Manchin and now possibly VP Pence; pray that all this goes good;
