HEAR & SEE

Greetings,

Over the last several times reading through the Bible, another phrase has jumped out at me.  It is the phrase within a verse, or several verses close together, where the two verb actions take place of hearing and seeing.   I call it the phrase study, "Hear & See, H&S".  As in all these phrases, the Lord is revealing truths and things that I have for decades passed over and never saw.  "this man having eyes to see and cannot see."   YEt, God in His pity and mercy, opens the eyes and reveals such truths that teach, help and affirm His will and way. 

I love my word and phrase study in the bible.   Each one brings with it the new challenege of catching all of them, marking them and documenting them.   After several times through in reading, and marking them in my bible with my code, 'H&S", I am ready this time to focus more on catching all fo them and documenting them.   There are dozens of these found throughout Scripture.

The following is the marking of the verse and the use of hearing and seeing.   For some I may give devotional thoughts or reference other importance.   But for now, it is to make sure all our listed. 

May they speak and aid you as they have me. 

GENESIS
Chapter 1 - there are 7 in this chapter;
1:3 - 4, "And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good:  and God divided the light from the darkness."   
--Hear - And God said, God speaks, His voice goes forth and that which He says, happens.   Who is able to thwart the voice of God?   But when a voice is spoken, it is heard.  thus, when we find someone, especially the Lord said, we will have our action verb of 'hearing'. 
--See - And God saw that which He had spoken into existence, light.    the powerful lesson hear of our first use of "hear & see" is God speaks, we hear it and God sees it that it is very good in His sight.   may we be found such.

1:10, "And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good."
--Hear - And God called (2);   God speaks and pronounced the names of land, earth and sea;   As God speaks, His voice is heard;  We hear God speak;
--See - And God saw that is was good;   His creation was good for it proceeded from Him, Who is good.   May He see us and see good.

1:11 - 12, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the berb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:  and it was so.   . . . and God saw that it was good."
--Hear - And God said;  That which God spoke, was uttered, and His voice was heard;  thus we hear God speak, His voice;  And that which we hear from Him is truth and power.  He made all these things of creation in seeds and trees and fruits to bear and continue to bear.   What a powerful voice to hear;  give ear my beloved to His voice and hear Him.
--See - And God saw that it was good;  it proceeded from Him and because He is good, this, of His creation was good.   We are created by Him, may He see us good in Him and of Him.
