Greetings,
And I do not
bring ‘good greetings’, just simply ‘salutations’, brothers. We are in a mess. Most will agree, that very little of the
power of God is being sought for, to counter the full out assault of hell and
its evil upon our nation, churches, families and individual souls. Never have we seen so much corruption in
headlines, in pews, in pulpits, in crisis and so little ability to do anything
about it. We know there is a power,
there is God! and ‘He is able to do abundantly above all that we ask or think’.
I thought I
was done with Broken Before the Throne.
I had no inclination nor plans to do any more. But God has spoken, and I know that Voice
that drives me, and I cannot let it lie.
I have no peace in my soul, when I wrestle with obedience, I must
respond. Broken Before the Throne is a
prayer time, not per se, a conference.
The preaching of the Word and real prayer time offered over the state of
our nation, church, and families. A time
of prayer made up of confession, pleading, adoration and anguish for His favor
in revival.
The Supreme
Court, it seems, will decide the fate of our nation over the gay marriage
debate. It is almost 40 years since Roe
vs. Wade, this allowed the sin of innocent blood to cover our land. We have to answer for this blood in our
generation. I would think, that all of
us would be agreed we cannot bear, nor would God permit us to stand as a nation
if homosexuality is legalized in this land and traditional marriage thrown
out. What are we to do?
We are to do
what they did in the book of Acts; what they did in every occurrence of
persecution; what they did in times of such evil – THEY PRAYED! They came together for they knew that there
was no power left in their means and methods; there was no power in their
organization; there was no power in their education; there was only the power
of God. God seeks for a man, God waits
for us to do what we should have been doing all along. How did we get here?
We left off
our first love. We silenced the prayer
meeting. We abandoned holiness and
righteousness. We failed God in our ways
of worship. Now let us seek and find His
mercy. Let us cry out to Him, ‘In wrath
remember mercy’. Here is a week of
prayer to prevail with God together; yes, praying in our closets, on our own,
whenever and wherever time permits. But
this one week we have together. We are
out of time. We cannot let this happen
on our watch!
Promote this
time, pray, invite, participate and prevail for the sake of His great
Name. Any future we have, will be
decided by how we prayed today. My
children, and their future; your children and grandchildren will be decided by
what we do on our knees. We cannot
afford to not prevail – WE MUST PREVAIL!
Speakers: Richard Owen Roberts; Don Miller; Ron Auch;
James Pool and Al Whittinghill;
Scheduled
for 7 days – 15 sessions. Allowing time
to be still and know God; and to wait before Him.
Until,
Dan Biser
