APRIL PRAYER LETTER
Greetings,
Ministry Updates:
- continue pastor duties at Zoar and Fox's Hollow Baptist church; two Sunday school classes and 3 worship services on Sunday; Sunday's are very busy and full with 6 services; Tuesday night at Zoar is prayer meeting at 6; and Bible study at 7; should finish Genesis verse by verse study in the next two weeks, will begin Exodus and will go through chapter 20 to the 10 commandements; also share tidbits of prayer notebook;
Fox's Hollow, Thursday night Bible study and prayer time; finished Genesis and starting Exodus as well;
--continue Bible study and prayer time on Sunday evening at our house;
--lead prayer time for Hampshire county every other Saturday night; Zoar will be reaching out to the other churches the first of May to have prayer times on Tuesday night. This will be weekly.
--still continue Daily Prayer Email for 66 people; This has been such a great outlet for me to share what God is doing and teaching me.
--Still working on several projects of word studies and sermons; Have recorded all the 'IN THAT DAY' out of Scripture. There are over 112. continue to record all of God saying, 'I will'; estimating that there are over 2000, reached 500 for now. A very blessed work of instruction of what God says He will do.
Continue to work on 'JUDGMENT'. A new work on 'RESTRAIN'.
--looking at in the next month or two to have prayer conference in Hampshire county and Mineral county to draw the pastors together and fight spiritaul warfare over the counties.
--have set into motion Broken Before the Throne; waiting on a few speaker confirmations; dates are tentatively July 22- 28; place, waiting for confirmation on FBC, Lilburn, GA.
Family:
Track season for Joshua, Elizabeth and Timothy is on going right now. Hannah is helping coach for that, so half the kids are in that.
--Joshua graduates high school next month; has been looking at the reality of college;
--spiritaul warfare continues for the children; Praying for their hearts desire to know Him and follow after Him.
--other essential needs continue to lifted up to the Lord for His leading, providing and guiding.
--not a huge winter sickness for us; we thank God for His mercies and provisions;
Prayer Focus:
--seeing more opened doors for evangelism of people being put in my life through the churches, extended outreach; Dealing more and more with completely ignorant souls of the Gospel.
-- marriages continue to be a burden in the community; two more married couples in separation/divorce over adultery; ABsence of God in many of them; Satan having his will and way.
--Praying more and more for extended family members of church folk; a greater urgency and desperation is occuring in them for these lost family members.
--still using notebook for 5 circles; it is an easier way for me to daily, and weekly keep up with prayer requests;
--One Cry has started; I am a little more relucant of this movement than what I was a few months ago. A great initative, but a very poor application of its importance.
--lost souls - over 100;
--Hampshire county and Mineral county is pressing and thus my need to have a prayer conference here;
-- only a few murder/suicides have been reported; a swing now to straight out violent murders and abductions across the nation;
--a deeper longing for fullness of Spirit;
Books:
-- finished 'Might Prevailing Prayer' by Wesley Duewel; a must for all prayer warriors; finished 'the Hidden Life of Prayer' by David McIntyre, did not want this book to end;
--two new books - Life of Henry Martyn; How Christ Came to Church by AJ Gordon;
--still working through Ravenhill's, 'Why Revival Tarries'; looking at getting back to Gurnall's, 'The Christian in Complete Armour'; Andrew Murray, "Prayer" 5 books in one; 'Looking unto Jesus' by Ambrose; 'almost finished 'JO Fraser';
The writing now dominates my time over reading.
I thank you for reading this and lifting up these different aspects of my life and minstry unto the Lord. I thank you for the comments and sharing that many do. Such a great encouragement for me to know how God is speaking, leading and using.
until,
Dan Biser
