What a blessed year for reading for me.  I started off the year to read some of the greatest recorded revivals in history.  I have labored through the year with biographies, prayer books and other deep spiritually recommended books;
Currently working on:
--'The Hidden Life of Prayer'; 'Mighty Prevailing Prayer', slowly worked through this book all year; 'Looking Unto Jesus'; 'The Christian in Complete Armor'; ''Deeper Experiences of Famous Christians'; 'Why Revival Tarries'; 'the power of the Spirit'; 'A Serious Call to a Devout and Holy Life'; just about finished, 'Behind the Ranges, the story of JO Fraser'; 'the Ministry of the Spirit' by AJ Gordon;

Such a blessed reading and instruction from great saints!!

NEW YEAR PLANS FOR SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES EACH DAY:
--read through the Bible twice, January through May and July through Novermber;
--word study for the first half of the year is 'all';
--writing out on my blog all the times God says, 'I will. . . '  what a rich blessing and application to our lives in prayer;
--rememorzie Psalm 119 in June and December;
--continue to write devotinal blogs from each chapter of the Bible; currently in Isaiah 1;
--fast on Wednesday's sunrise to sunset;
--devotional readings - Spurgeon, Morning and Evening; Thomas Watson daily readings; God's best SEcrets by Andrew Murray; Gurnall, The Chrsitian in Complete Armour;
--prayers in the morning and work on writings, readings and prayers from 10:30 til midnight;  A morning and evening time with the Lord;
--continue writings to email lists from what the Lord is saying to me that I might pass it on;

ANSWERED PRAYERS:
--much answered prayer over sick and cancer patients;
--provisions continue in great ways;
--one marriage being healed;
--new couple at Fox's Hollow;
--murder/suicide abated as I prayed against this evil;

We ended the year with prayer and I will begin the year with prayer.  More prayer, more power, more of His Spirit to fill us.
How desperate the need for revival, prayer is its only ability to prevail with God to send it.

until,
