". . . sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly. . Gather the people. . . let them weep and say, Spare thy people, O Lord" Joel 1 & 2
God has spoken clearly before and is still speaking during these times: 'Call for the fast, call for the gathering, call for the solemn assembly.' I am writing to you for this call to ask of you for your help and guidance. God has been speaking and revealing for months leading up to this tragedy in our world. Yea, even last year, there were set times of a full week, of 80 hours of continuous prayer and to close the year out with 100 straight hours of prayer. And all along God was revealing, something was coming in 2020, the likes that we have never seen. And now it is here!
'I will not be disobedient unto the heavenly calling'. As He is commanding for the church to gather and to call upon Him. He is commanding, 'cause them to know their abominations'. In other words, why these things are happening. He is also revealing to us what our response is to be for the church, for His kingdom work and for the nations.
Example: Almost all of you, being contacted, yea, if not all of you have had times of being obedient to the heavenly calling. And out of that walk of faith, God was glorified and honored. Your life was blest because you obeyed. One particular time, almost a decade ago was mine. Numerous places around the US were facing drought conditions. Upon our area, it came as well. AS the water levels, dropped, no rain in sight, talk of water rationing was happening to show how severe it was and was going to be. I was meeting with pastors and that time and we prayed once a week together. I shared with them, "Do we have to wait till all the water is gone before we will pray? Lets have a prayer meeting and call the churches together and cry out to God for rain." We called and publizied all the pastors and churches. Within two weeks, we gathered, (still no rain). It is was packed on a Sunday night, with a dozen churches represented. We worshipped Him; we confessed before Him; and we cried out to Him for rain. Rain came within 24 hours.
Why must we wait till the judgement worsens? Let us obey the heavenly calling and come together and confess our iniquities before Him. Let us petition and supplicate for our nation(s), families, future generations and our Lord's kingdom to be done. Let us obey.

PRAYER EMAIL - MARCH 25
Greetings,
Deuteronomy 28:62, "left few in number"; 28:63, "rejoice over you to destroy you and bring to nought"; 28:65, "Lord shall give thee a trembling heart, and failing of eyes and sorrow of mind"; 28:66, "And thy life shall hang in doubt before that . . . and shalt have none assurance of thy life. . . "
Where are we at? Why are we here? Where are we going?
Deuteronomy 28, is the chapter of blessing & cursing. From verse 3 - 14, is the blessings which Moses tells the people that they will receive if 'they hearken and obey the Word of God". And from verse 15 - 68 are the curses, which Moses warned that if they would not hearken and obey that God would send upon them. It is very easy to understand the blessings and cursings: hear and obey and receive blessings; refuse to hear and disobey and receive the curses. Now these curses come in waves upon the nation and the person. God in mercy gives opportunity for correction and repentance. And several times through the curses, Moses warns, and if you refuse to hear and obey, then God will do this next to you. The curses starts off outwardly. but after multiple times of rejecting God's mercy, you reach the end of the curses which is death.
Where are we at?
Brethren, we are now facing desolation, destruction and death. We are experiencing something that other generations went through, but never has this generation, a world wide pandemic, where 1000's are dying and 100,000's are facing death. This is increasing each day. IF you follow the stats for the nations, you can see how deep the impact of this goes globally. what is to come, is even more unsure. This is where we are at. We are in a day to day moment of understanding that there are families, loved ones, and people facing death and eternity. Whole communities living in fear and anxiety for they know not what will come from this time. Impact on society, impact on churches impact on the economy and our future all is unforeseen how deep and long this will go.
I hear Christian leaders and pastors, seemingly quoting Scriptures of promises and hope; and yet it seems vague if they really believe it. Are they offering hope out of broken cisterns? So much 1/2 truths of II Chronicles is presented and never the full leading of the text. Only focusing on the Lord's action in verse 14, but not so much on the 4 responses of the church. They seem unsure in their faith and walk. It is definitely a testing and trying time for the believer to give an account of themselves.
WV governor called for a day of prayer today across the state and led in this. I have seen so many 'calls to prayer'; zoom prayer meetings; call in prayer meetings; all kinds of prayer initiatives from all ministries. Why didn't we listen before? Why did we have to wait till the worst of Deut. 28 came to finally start to pray? what will come out of these prayer times?

Instead of II Chronicles 7:14, Isaiah 59:2 is more true to our plight. The confession, recognition and repentance of our sins is ever so needful. Just as the king of Nineveh repented and caused the people to repent, so we must understand why we are in this plight. We have sinned against the Lord. Our sins have increased and they have provoked Him to anger and wrath. He has warned, repeatedly, but we have not listened, now He has sent the death plague to the nations, to remind us how fragile our life is, and neeful we are of Him.
Since our nation has legalized and embraced all the abominations of the Bible, that God hates and has cursed; and since the church has lost its purpose of holiness, fear of the Lord and embraced the comforts and love of this world. God has warned; God has been longsuffering; God has been patient; God has sent remedial judgements to cause us to return and repent; God has been beckoning unto us all along. And as warned in Deuteronomy 28, when He spoke and showed Himself mighty, if they refused to hear and continued in their sin, then He would send curses upon them. Of which, our nation(s) have received wave upon wave. We would not listen, nor would we hear. 'God rising up and sending His prophets, but they refused to hear them."
Where are we going?
All the efforts over the last year of 100 hours of prayer; 80 hours of prayer; and the call to Concerts of prayer, church and prayer leaders refused to hear and obey. Now they are all employing and embracing calls to prayer. What remains to be seen, is when this begins to die down, will they learn or will they return to their folly and sins of self. A mandate now, to not return to our former ways is very needful. this is why an acknowledgement of our why we are here, due to our rebellion is necessary. For if they don't understand and agree with this; it will be explained away. And it will all be for nought.
All those professing Christ now, as soon as this passes, will return to their old ways and sins and be that much more a child of hell. do we understand this? This is not a spiritual awakening! Dead men grasping for straws does not make it true salvation. True salvation comes with remorse and sorrow, godly sorrow over sins. This remains to be seen. But for what is happening right now, it is only a salvation for escapism.
What will come from this is countries posturing for the upper hand. Economy will be a huge impact to who leads and governs. Christians and the church called upon during the crisis, may be persecuted and blamed following the crisis. Some how and some way, persecution must come to us in the west. Without a true brokenness and contrition, that which is to come will be worse upon the church. Very needful for us to prevail during these days. A true word, a true spirit of Christ, and a true drawing near to Him is ever so necessary for what will follow.
EPIDEMICS:
Drugs & Alcohol - still overdoses and deaths through this time; alcohol is a false god and there has been no repentance of this;
Natural Disasters - major 7.5 earthquake; still due for 8.0 or greater; strong storms and tornado season is upon us; floods in Middle EAst;
Great Evil - murder-suicides are increasing daily; the talk and fear of suicides is misplaced, for they are already happening; homicides have remained consistent;
Children - awful abuse and neglect is evident during these days children are home; parents spending money and time on drugs and alcohol, whiile kids go hungry;

PRAYER EMAIL - MARCH 20
Greetings,
"I have sent also unto you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto Me."
There is no new thing under the sun (Ecclesiastes). God has revealed that which was, is and is to come. He is immutable (my favorite attribute of God); He never changes (Malachi). So in the midst of this time, God's purposes are being directed and His will is being done. But this is not a 'suddenly' moment. For we have had warnings for a long time in something like this to come, from history and from the Bible.
In Jeremiah chapter 35, Jeremiah was instructed to take the Rechabites and set wine before them to drink. However, their father had given a command that neither they nor their sons were ever to drink wine. This family and its descendants stayed true to that vow. and God speaks in the midst of this families illustration to say, 'Did I not command you, His children, His descendants of Israel? Did I not tell you?"
However, the response of Israel was different, they heard the commands but they refused to obey. They heard the directives, but they refused to listen. And in this verse above, verse 15, God has sent His servants to speak and declare what is and what shall be directly related to their ways and doing. And just as God as God has always responded, He responds to our ways and doings. Are we faithful or not? Are we obedient or not? And from that response comes God's response. God responds to a wicked nation; God responds to a rebellious people, His Own.
WE have known for quite some time that the hand of God's wrath upon the nations, and more personally, our nation, and His church was coming. The signs of the times were upon us in remedial judgements. We have covered this consistently for over a decade. How it amazes me that preachers and leaders refuse to recognize the Biblical words and works of God, Who is immutable to our plight today. As His hand came forth and wrote on the wall to the Babylonian king and Daniel interrupted it, so it is today, "thou art weighed int he balances and found wanting." God has been speaking and warning all along, we just didn't listen nor give heed.
There were 10 plagues in Egypt that constricted from outer to piercing sorrow of the 10th plague, death. And so all our remedial judgements went the same pattern, from outer to inner; and here we are at Death. Despite those that are trivial about this plague or unphased about the death rate and sick rate, it is a pandemic and it is deadly. At present, there are over 11,000 deaths world wide; over 200 here in US. Granted this is not a high number compared to other things, but the potential is huge to be worse. And in the midst of this it is for us to examine what is going on, why this is happening and what will come of it.
What is going on - God is judging our times, nations and His church. This I covered in last weeks blog posts, prayer email. Tonight for the prayer meeting I will be walking through this more in Biblical accounts, followed by prayer points. Never has this generation seen or experienced anything like this. The understanding though, this is not the first in human history or our nations. and sometimes in days gone by it was far worse with wars, rationing and greater death plagues.
Why is this happening - the church failed; the nations legalized abominations and the false gods were set to rule and reign over God's creation, nations and man's hearts and minds. You cannot continue to defy God, rebel, and revolt and not expect God to not answer in wrath for being provoked to anger. Yet, God has been sending warnings to His church and the nations all along, rising up and sending them in each generation to repent, restore the good and right ways and to return to Him with our whole heart. but as this verse in Jeremiah tells us, we rebelled, our ways and doings were contrary to His ways and doings. WE refused to hear, we refused to obey. WE compromised with sin, cheated on holiness and saturated ourselves with humanism, flesh, money, sports and entertainment all the while rejecting Him. God is not destroying us or annihilating us completely; this is not final judgement. Yea, it is the most severe that we have seen in quite some time; but it is not final judgment. This is His mercy. He is giving us time.
What comes next - this depends on the response of the church and the nation;
1. I see no fear of the Lord in the midst of the people. The fact that this is God's judgement is largely dismissed by the church; therefore it is utterly alien to the heathen.
2. Too many of the church and its leaders are simply praying for deliverance, healing and safe haven. Because they do not understand II Chronicles 7:13, they simply are asking God to do His 3 promises of 7:14. They have never done their part of 7:14 of their 4 things - humble (we are too proud and self reliant); pray (we still do not have houses of prayer or secret closets given to Him daily); seek His face (time is still about us not Him) and turn from our wicked ways (repentance and confession).
3. Solemn assembly - I wrote Ronnie Floyd and shared this is the next step needed. It was the next day that I saw where Jonathan Cahn will be hosting one in Washington, DC in September. It is my desire that the SBC respond. Had the concerts of prayer been embraced and employed, as we desired, and the Lord led, we would be much more at a right place before Him. but alas, this verse condemns Israel for their rebellion, so goes the state of the church today.
As I read and hear so many church leaders today on social media, I wonder where they were all along over this last decade. One former SBC president, who refused to even talk with me on the phone or give time to me; quoting Scriptures that he should have been employing while president to lead us rightly. For over a decade I met and tried to meet with each SBC president, since Frank Page in 2006. almost all gave time and place so we could talk and pray together. But there were several who refused to pray or talk. they didn't want to hear it or respond to it. so often I felt like Amos, 'Amos, quit preaching, go preach to Judah, but don't preach to us.' And Amos reply, 'I was farmer, tending to my things up in the hills. And the Lord said, "Go down and preach to them". And come down and preach I will to you." I went and pleaded with them; begging some to respond. Most of the time simply getting their favorite phrase, 'Dan, really appreciate your heart". don'e appreciate it, obey the Word; respond rightly!
God has always been rising up and sending His servants to call the people, warn the people and prepare the people. It is the people's choices and leaders decisions that determine what comes next.
Now do not think, that as I write this, that I am simply saying, "I told you so". For I am as much to blame for negligence as any other. There are many like minded serving with me on what has happened and why it is happened. "to him that knoweth to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin." I have should have pressed more and done more. I should have prevailed more. But alas, hindsight is wonderful to see a little better. But that cannot change now; what is before us and upon us is most important. What will I do now? What will you do now?
We will respond rightly. Declaring the whole counsel of God. We will instruct on Who God is and what He has desired. And we will plead in prayer for His Divine Spirit to lead and direct and fill. Yes, revival and awakening may come out of this. But only. . . ONLY!!! if the church responds rightly. If we continue and revert back after this passes, and it will pass and things will return to 'normal'. If we go back to what was, then we learned nothing in this moment. We can never return to what was! It is what got us here. Priorities and daily routines and practices must change toward God and not toward self and ease. Holiness must be number one; sin must be confronted and rebuked. sin can no longer be allowed to dwell in the crevasses of a saint. 'Come out from among them and be separate'; 'what business doth light hath with darkness'.
Pray so as to prevail. Seek Him, know Him and be about His business.

PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS
1. Drug & Alcohol - this judgement continues upon our society along with these other issues; overdoses, waste, long-term affects, and death; bars closed here in US and surrounding areas, and alcoholics pitched a fit; so many stocked up on this their chains of sin;
2. LGBT - this evil continues, as they seek to ensnare an entire generation and the following one; no truth on this abomination and the compromising of the church towards it, emboldens it; leading to Sodom;
3. Natural Disasters - earthquakes remain low, under 80; but last 72 hours, 4 in the western US, 2 in Alaska; the first one of these in the west shook Salt Lake City, knocking the trumpet from the hand of the golden angel set to blow for Mormons; reminded me of dagon of the Philistines when they took the ark of God and Dagon fell with his head and hands cut off by the angel of God; again record flooding in Middle East, coupled with the continued swarm of record, historic locusts;
4. Children - with schools cancelled and kids without suprervision greatly alarmed me; food is being delivered by local school systems, and many restuarants are providing - this is great; but children in harms way requires more prayer from us, deliver from evil and harm,
5. Plagues - on top of our other diseases at record numbers, comes the pandemic Cororna virus; 250,000 infected, over 11,000 deaths; china, Italy and Spain some of the hardest hit so far; China is recovering, here in US we are just getting started; God sends forth such things, throughout history and the Bible we see this;
6. Great Evil - Homicides/Murder-suicides/Suicides - this past week we cross 5000 estimated suicides; and 3000 homicides; 14 police officers killed; 65 mass shooting (4 or more wounded); and murder/suicides are 120, for March that is 1 and 1/.2 per day; This plague continues coupled with all the other.

WE have known for quite some time that the hand of God's wrath upon the nations, and more personally, our nation, and His church was coming. The signs of the times were upon us in remedial judgements. We have covered this consistently for over a decade. How it amazes me that preachers and leaders refuse to recognize the Biblical words and works of God, Who is immutable to our plight today. As His hand came forth and wrote on the wall to the Babylonian king and Daniel interrupted it, so it is today, "thou art weighed int he balances and found wanting." God has been speaking and warning all along, we just didn't listen nor give heed.
There were 10 plagues in Egypt that constricted from outer to piercing sorrow of the 10th plague, death. And so all our remedial judgements went the same pattern, from outer to inner; and here we are at Death. Despite those that are trivial about this plague or unphased about the death rate and sick rate, it is a pandemic and it is deadly. At present, there are over 11,000 deaths world wide; over 200 here in US. Granted this is not a high number compared to other things, but the potential is huge to be worse. And in the midst of this it is for us to examine what is going on, why this is happening and what will come of it.
What is going on - God is judging our times, nations and His church. This I covered in last weeks blog posts, prayer email. Tonight for the prayer meeting I will be walking through this more in Biblical accounts, followed by prayer points. Never has this generation seen or experienced anything like this. The understanding though, this is not the first in human history or our nations. and sometimes in days gone by it was far worse with wars, rationing and greater death plagues.
Why is this happening - the church failed; the nations legalized abominations and the false gods were set to rule and reign over God's creation, nations and man's hearts and minds. You cannot continue to defy God, rebel, and revolt and not expect God to not answer in wrath for being provoked to anger. Yet, God has been sending warnings to His church and the nations all along, rising up and sending them in each generation to repent, restore the good and right ways and to return to Him with our whole heart. but as this verse in Jeremiah tells us, we rebelled, our ways and doings were contrary to His ways and doings. WE refused to hear, we refused to obey. WE compromised with sin, cheated on holiness and saturated ourselves with humanism, flesh, money, sports and entertainment all the while rejecting Him. God is not destroying us or annihilating us completely; this is not final judgement. Yea, it is the most severe that we have seen in quite some time; but it is not final judgment. This is His mercy. He is giving us time.
What comes next - this depends on the response of the church and the nation;
1. I see no fear of the Lord in the midst of the people. The fact that this is God's judgement is largely dismissed by the church; therefore it is utterly alien to the heathen.
2. Too many of the church and its leaders are simply praying for deliverance, healing and safe haven. Because they do not understand II Chronicles 7:13, they simply are asking God to do His 3 promises of 7:14. They have never done their part of 7:14 of their 4 things - humble (we are too proud and self reliant); pray (we still do not have houses of prayer or secret closets given to Him daily); seek His face (time is still about us not Him) and turn from our wicked ways (repentance and confession).
3. Solemn assembly - I wrote Ronnie Floyd and shared this is the next step needed. It was the next day that I saw where Jonathan Cahn will be hosting one in Washington, DC in September. It is my desire that the SBC respond. Had the concerts of prayer been embraced and employed, as we desired, and the Lord led, we would be much more at a right place before Him. but alas, this verse condemns Israel for their rebellion, so goes the state of the church today.
As I read and hear so many church leaders today on social media, I wonder where they were all along over this last decade. One former SBC president, who refused to even talk with me on the phone or give time to me; quoting Scriptures that he should have been employing while president to lead us rightly. For over a decade I met and tried to meet with each SBC president, since Frank Page in 2006. almost all gave time and place so we could talk and pray together. But there were several who refused to pray or talk. they didn't want to hear it or respond to it. so often I felt like Amos, 'Amos, quit preaching, go preach to Judah, but don't preach to us.' And Amos reply, 'I was farmer, tending to my things up in the hills. And the Lord said, "Go down and preach to them". And come down and preach I will to you." I went and pleaded with them; begging some to respond. Most of the time simply getting their favorite phrase, 'Dan, really appreciate your heart". don'e appreciate it, obey the Word; respond rightly!
God has always been rising up and sending His servants to call the people, warn the people and prepare the people. It is the people's choices and leaders decisions that determine what comes next.
Now do not think, that as I write this, that I am simply saying, "I told you so". For I am as much to blame for negligence as any other. There are many like minded serving with me on what has happened and why it is happened. "to him that knoweth to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin." I have should have pressed more and done more. I should have prevailed more. But alas, hindsight is wonderful to see a little better. But that cannot change now; what is before us and upon us is most important. What will I do now? What will you do now?
We will respond rightly. Declaring the whole counsel of God. We will instruct on Who God is and what He has desired. And we will plead in prayer for His Divine Spirit to lead and direct and fill. Yes, revival and awakening may come out of this. But only. . . ONLY!!! if the church responds rightly. If we continue and revert back after this passes, and it will pass and things will return to 'normal'. If we go back to what was, then we learned nothing in this moment. We can never return to what was! It is what got us here. Priorities and daily routines and practices must change toward God and not toward self and ease. Holiness must be number one; sin must be confronted and rebuked. sin can no longer be allowed to dwell in the crevasses of a saint. 'Come out from among them and be separate'; 'what business doth light hath with darkness'.
Pray so as to prevail. Seek Him, know Him and be about His business.

PRAYER TARGETS:
EPIDEMICS
1. Drug & Alcohol - this judgement continues upon our society along with these other issues; overdoses, waste, long-term affects, and death; bars closed here in US and surrounding areas, and alcoholics pitched a fit; so many stocked up on this their chains of sin;
2. LGBT - this evil continues, as they seek to ensnare an entire generation and the following one; no truth on this abomination and the compromising of the church towards it, emboldens it; leading to Sodom;
3. Natural Disasters - earthquakes remain low, under 80; but last 72 hours, 4 in the western US, 2 in Alaska; the first one of these in the west shook Salt Lake City, knocking the trumpet from the hand of the golden angel set to blow for Mormons; reminded me of dagon of the Philistines when they took the ark of God and Dagon fell with his head and hands cut off by the angel of God; again record flooding in Middle East, coupled with the continued swarm of record, historic locusts;
4. Children - with schools cancelled and kids without suprervision greatly alarmed me; food is being delivered by local school systems, and many restuarants are providing - this is great; but children in harms way requires more prayer from us, deliver from evil and harm,
5. Plagues - on top of our other diseases at record numbers, comes the pandemic Cororna virus; 250,000 infected, over 11,000 deaths; china, Italy and Spain some of the hardest hit so far; China is recovering, here in US we are just getting started; God sends forth such things, throughout history and the Bible we see this;
6. Great Evil - Homicides/Murder-suicides/Suicides - this past week we cross 5000 estimated suicides; and 3000 homicides; 14 police officers killed; 65 mass shooting (4 or more wounded); and murder/suicides are 120, for March that is 1 and 1/.2 per day; This plague continues coupled with all the other.

APPEAL
Greetings,
For the last 5 years we have continued to see the phrase(s) used in headlines, 'record' & 'historic'. These two words have covered natural disasters in temperatures; floods; fires; snow; and destructive storms. We have seen these phrases used in regards to mass shootings, homicides throughout places, cities, schools and churches. We have seen the terms used in regards to drug addiction and overdoses; in suicides and murder-suicides in regards to death rates. Now we are in another record, historic moment where for the 1st time in modern history, almost all sporting events in the US are shut down. Often I have wondered what would it take to do something like this, now to learn how He would do it.
For a few years now in my prayer emails I have shared many of these prayer targets and over the last 10 years the escalation upon our nation. There are now 6 identified prayer targets that have reached EPIDEMIC proportions in the US. The end of each of these 6 EPIDEMICS are death, destruction and desolation. And the prayer focus has been geared to pray against this evil; and to understand that our sins and iniquities have caused this. The sins of the nation; and the sins of the church and the individual Christian are the guilty parties. Recently, over the last few months I have asked the question, 'after you reach EPIDEMIC status, what comes next?" The answer to that is horrifying!
Today, March 15, 2020, another record, historic moment happened: vast majority of churches did not gather or have services (unless they live streamed). And this seems to be set for weeks now to come, that the way of life that has given time, money and energy to self, sin and ease is now stopped. And the church, largely in uncertainty is looking what to do next. There have been other times in recent years that such moments have been upon us, and for the greater part we missed the moment and the Divine opportunity it presented.
I recall: after 9/11 and the nation was reeling, the next Sunday following that day, churches were filled with probably the highest attendance in recent decades. The nation was stopped for those days and it took time to recover over the next weeks and months. But after the highest church gatherings across the nation, the fear and alarm abated and as the new year came in, church attendance was lower that pre-9/11. It was said, that shortly after 9/11, that some of Pres. Bush's staff encouraged him to call for a Solemn Assembly for the nation, to be led by Henry Blackaby. But I believe it was VP Dick Cheney that talked him out of it. Moment missed!
There was numerous warnings and preparation from God over the last 9 months. God led me to reach out to SBC leaders like never before to call us to join in Concerts of Prayer. There were numerous fastings and prayer calls happening by other ministries. AT the close of the year God called us to 100 straight hours of prayer to bring in the New Year. It was clear something was coming, but unclear what it was. Now we know what it was-- a world wide pandemic.
This is our Divine moment again. The great call is not just to pray. For even this day was a National Day of Prayer called for by the President of the US. But for most, their only means of prayer is 40 seconds and then they are all prayed out. Few can or did pray 10 - 15 minutes; even fewer can pray an hour before the Lord; let alone a whole day to be given in prayer. It is a great thing to have one, but it is a sin to not do it. Another moment missed.
And more than likely, this will abate over the next two months. and after that, the lost nation will return to its idols of sport, money and ease. 'As the dog returns to its vomit, so the sinner to his sin.' And so we have less time to respond than that. WE must understand the time we are in and respond rightly. A right response is a Biblical response. We know the Scriptures - 'call for a solemn assembly'; 'weep before the altar'; 'our sins and iniquities have separated between us and God'. 'God is giving us over to a reprobate mind'. What comes after you reach EPIDEMIC proportions? Final judgement. This may be our last Divine invitation to return to Him.
What is being asked of you:
1. Embrace and employ the Concert of Prayer; fasting the 1st Tuesday of each month; and having a corporate prayer meeting within the first full week to worship Him - confess before Him - and peition Him.
2. Spiritual leaders to set a time and place for a Solemn Assembly to be employed and live streamed for all the church to gather.
3. It is needful to restore what we have lost over these last decades in holiness, spiritual disciplines and obedience to our Lord.
4. To call for, facilitate, educate, with urgency the reality of our plight before the Lord God as a nation, and as the church. The reality of why this is happening -- why did God ever send plagues upon the nation(s) in the bible? The church largely is ignorant of this.
We've missed so many Divine moments in years gone by. It is my conviction we cannot afford to miss this one. We have provoked, angered and caused through our neglect and lack of fervency to turn back the evil of our nation and within the churches. It is time to respond rightly before the Lord, as He instructed us within His Word.
I appeal to you on this urgent times. and I would be more than willing to discuss this letter by phone or visit.

PRAYER EMAIL - MARCH 14
Greetings,
". . . for I cannot find one wise man among you." Job 17:10
"I speak this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you?" I Corinthians 6:5
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1-2
Just finished reading through the bible this morning. Always such a joy to complete; coupled with all my other studies, readings, preaching, teaching and writings. Out of this great joy comes the knowledge of God; Who is God; what has He done and more importantly, why has He done it. Has the Bible not declared why God allows or causes things to happen in this earth? Has God not said of Himself, 'I have told you of things to come so that you might know that I have done it"?
Back last year, 2019, God was moving much among church and prayer leaders. There was a heightened increase calling for prayer and fasting. God was moving His people to make right with Him, and before Him before the new year came forth. Why did we call for a 100 hours of prayer for the state of our nation and the state of the church? Because on the horizon was a great impact to our world of life and death for 1000's. This crisis upon us now, is only one of dozens of judgements upon our world and our nation. Again, has God not already revealed Himself in His Word of what He will do and allow?
--Genesis 6 - 'God saw' the hearts of men were continually evil; God destroyed by flood; but in grace and mercy had Noah preach 100 years of the destruction to come. Only 8 got on the boat.
--Genesis 18 - 'God heard the cry of Sodom'; God knew and saw that their sin was very grievous"; God destroyed it with fire and brimstone; only 4 got out;
--Exodus - 400 years of hard bondage and killing of God's people and the slaughter of the male children; God saw and heard the cry of Israel; God slew all the first born of Egypt of man and beast. God brought Israel out of Egypt;
--Exodus/Number - these same Israelite's that saw God's death angel and all the first born in Egypt die; rebelled, murmured and sinned against the Lord God; and all that generation that came out of Egypt over 20 yrs. old died in the wilderness; only 2 entered into the promised land with those 20 and under;
--Numbers - God sent the fiery serpents, 10,000's died;
--Joshua - Anak takes of the cursed; dozens died, God withdrawn from them till wrong was made right;
--II Samuel - David numbers the people for the people and David had sinned against the Lord; God sends 3 days of His angel to slay and 70,000 die.
--Jonah - a whole city warned of 1000's of lives at stake; yet they responded rightly by humbling themselves with brokenness and contrition and the city is spared;
--Jesus prophecy and weeping over Jerusalem for what would be for rejecting the Son of God; Luke 19; 70 AD Jerusalem destroyed by Romans;
And what shall we say of all the other accounts when God's hand is outstretched to curse, to punish, to kill and to remove men and/or nations from off the whole world. And in every one of them He has shown His grace and mercy; His restraint; His Sovereign will. The Word of God has revealed the wrath of God against His own people and the nations for multiplying sin against Him and His ways. Warnings and remedial judgements are sent to remind us of our high offence against the Holy God and to turn from our sin and return to our Lord. Why does God's Own people not know these things? "I cannot find a wise one among you".
And so it is that from the Word of God and from the increased activity of prayer leaders that God called many of us to engage in over the last 6 months, God was warning us of what was to come.
--we called last year, yea pleaded and begged with SBC leadership to initiate Concerts of Prayer;
--we joined Austin's 7 churches in Sept/Oct for 80 hours of prayer, while they prayed the 24/7 for a full week;
--at the end of the year, the pressing of His Spirit of evil on the horizon was there, and we called for the 100 hours of prayer;
This will always be a missed moment in time if there is no all to address the why of our plight. Past times in our history have revealed this as well. After 9/11, President Bush was set to call the nation to a solemn assembly; but (I believe?) it was Dick Cheney that talked him out of it. After Hurricane Katrina happened, it was a time; after columbine; after sandy hook; after Dallas police officers shot down; etc. were times and we missed the moment. Our only reaction after those times and this crisis upon us is a "Post' response -"Pray". Why is that the church never learns the preventive prayers, and preventive measures and preeminent response?
This is why the call to prayer for Sunday, March 15, by the President and by the SBC; although wonderful that it was called for, does not address the need of WHY and WHAT God is doing. It is not sufficient!!
The crisis will perhaps abate in weeks. what we will happen to the alarm? the shock? the change of our nation? IT will likely revert back to 'normal'. sports, time and money back to entertainment and self. God and prayer will be forgotten till the next crisis. No sin condemned, no repentance called for, no explanation of why these things happen. And the moment in time will be lost again. And we will plunge closer and nearer to our own demise and destruction.
but oh, if the moment was seized, captured for what it is truly is. If we knew this was God's pleading with us to return, to restore, to renew, to repent! IF we knew how merciful and gracious He was and is and would be, if we only came before Him contrite and broken. Oh, brethren, if one passionate plea I plead with you, don't let this moment pass us by. 'Pass us not, O Gentle Savior, Hear our humble cry; while on others Thou art pleading, please don't pass us by". It is the greatest moment of our time to employ what He has said, done and commanded from His Word. 'Let us come boldly before the throne of God to help in this time of need."

2. Great Evil - suicides will hit 5000 this week; homicides at 3000; this past week saw great increase in police officer killed - 1 cop suicide on duty; murder-suicides are still high and almost 2 per day;
3. Plagues - virus updated to pandemic; fears and anxiety large in US; other countries greatly impacted as in Italy, South Korea;
4. Children - abuse, damage, neglect; while schools are closed, many will not have supervision nor food;
5. LGBT - they continue their fight to control, invade the minds of children and teenagers, seeking to capture the next generation. Churches fail in this as many embrace and compromise with the sin because its a family member.
6. Natural Disasters - things are fairly quiet right now; earthquakes at record lows at 65; expecting increased activity and a 7 or 8 soon. Still tornado season.

--bible readings - FINISHED!! 52nd time through; rejoice in His Word so much of what He has taught through it; my eternal salvation is found in Him alone; word study - arise, rise and all its forms;
--Psalm 119 - re-memorize over the next two weeks; start readings again April 1;
--The Activity of God - up through Isaiah 48; still slow going, but there are passages here, that are from time to time several without any activity; generally as God declares what they are or have done;
Still looking at 2 years.
--A Word blog - just finished Isaiah 62; 12 verses, only 2 of the 12 are finished; need to finish some of these before starting chapter 63; The Activity of God will probably overtake A Word devotional/commentary of Isaiah before I reach chapter 66; slow going; only a couple a month; How'd Matthew Henry do what he did?
--sermons from Sunday are still live streamed from facebook; still no way to upload to my youtube page; I know the only remedy seems to be video camera and upload from card; get enough money to buy one and start this process;
--Concert of Prayer - had 1 pastor friend of WV ask this week for my blog posts on Concerts of Prayer; new WV executive director has not responded with follow up for Concerts of Prayer to continue through 2020;

--Exodus/Number - these same Israelite's that saw God's death angel and all the first born in Egypt die; rebelled, murmured and sinned against the Lord God; and all that generation that came out of Egypt over 20 yrs. old died in the wilderness; only 2 entered into the promised land with those 20 and under;
--Numbers - God sent the fiery serpents, 10,000's died;
--Joshua - Anak takes of the cursed; dozens died, God withdrawn from them till wrong was made right;
--II Samuel - David numbers the people for the people and David had sinned against the Lord; God sends 3 days of His angel to slay and 70,000 die.
--Jonah - a whole city warned of 1000's of lives at stake; yet they responded rightly by humbling themselves with brokenness and contrition and the city is spared;
--Jesus prophecy and weeping over Jerusalem for what would be for rejecting the Son of God; Luke 19; 70 AD Jerusalem destroyed by Romans;
And what shall we say of all the other accounts when God's hand is outstretched to curse, to punish, to kill and to remove men and/or nations from off the whole world. And in every one of them He has shown His grace and mercy; His restraint; His Sovereign will. The Word of God has revealed the wrath of God against His own people and the nations for multiplying sin against Him and His ways. Warnings and remedial judgements are sent to remind us of our high offence against the Holy God and to turn from our sin and return to our Lord. Why does God's Own people not know these things? "I cannot find a wise one among you".
And so it is that from the Word of God and from the increased activity of prayer leaders that God called many of us to engage in over the last 6 months, God was warning us of what was to come.
--we called last year, yea pleaded and begged with SBC leadership to initiate Concerts of Prayer;
--we joined Austin's 7 churches in Sept/Oct for 80 hours of prayer, while they prayed the 24/7 for a full week;
--at the end of the year, the pressing of His Spirit of evil on the horizon was there, and we called for the 100 hours of prayer;
This will always be a missed moment in time if there is no all to address the why of our plight. Past times in our history have revealed this as well. After 9/11, President Bush was set to call the nation to a solemn assembly; but (I believe?) it was Dick Cheney that talked him out of it. After Hurricane Katrina happened, it was a time; after columbine; after sandy hook; after Dallas police officers shot down; etc. were times and we missed the moment. Our only reaction after those times and this crisis upon us is a "Post' response -"Pray". Why is that the church never learns the preventive prayers, and preventive measures and preeminent response?
This is why the call to prayer for Sunday, March 15, by the President and by the SBC; although wonderful that it was called for, does not address the need of WHY and WHAT God is doing. It is not sufficient!!
The crisis will perhaps abate in weeks. what we will happen to the alarm? the shock? the change of our nation? IT will likely revert back to 'normal'. sports, time and money back to entertainment and self. God and prayer will be forgotten till the next crisis. No sin condemned, no repentance called for, no explanation of why these things happen. And the moment in time will be lost again. And we will plunge closer and nearer to our own demise and destruction.
but oh, if the moment was seized, captured for what it is truly is. If we knew this was God's pleading with us to return, to restore, to renew, to repent! IF we knew how merciful and gracious He was and is and would be, if we only came before Him contrite and broken. Oh, brethren, if one passionate plea I plead with you, don't let this moment pass us by. 'Pass us not, O Gentle Savior, Hear our humble cry; while on others Thou art pleading, please don't pass us by". It is the greatest moment of our time to employ what He has said, done and commanded from His Word. 'Let us come boldly before the throne of God to help in this time of need."

2. Great Evil - suicides will hit 5000 this week; homicides at 3000; this past week saw great increase in police officer killed - 1 cop suicide on duty; murder-suicides are still high and almost 2 per day;
3. Plagues - virus updated to pandemic; fears and anxiety large in US; other countries greatly impacted as in Italy, South Korea;
4. Children - abuse, damage, neglect; while schools are closed, many will not have supervision nor food;
5. LGBT - they continue their fight to control, invade the minds of children and teenagers, seeking to capture the next generation. Churches fail in this as many embrace and compromise with the sin because its a family member.
6. Natural Disasters - things are fairly quiet right now; earthquakes at record lows at 65; expecting increased activity and a 7 or 8 soon. Still tornado season.

--bible readings - FINISHED!! 52nd time through; rejoice in His Word so much of what He has taught through it; my eternal salvation is found in Him alone; word study - arise, rise and all its forms;
--Psalm 119 - re-memorize over the next two weeks; start readings again April 1;
--The Activity of God - up through Isaiah 48; still slow going, but there are passages here, that are from time to time several without any activity; generally as God declares what they are or have done;
Still looking at 2 years.
--A Word blog - just finished Isaiah 62; 12 verses, only 2 of the 12 are finished; need to finish some of these before starting chapter 63; The Activity of God will probably overtake A Word devotional/commentary of Isaiah before I reach chapter 66; slow going; only a couple a month; How'd Matthew Henry do what he did?
--sermons from Sunday are still live streamed from facebook; still no way to upload to my youtube page; I know the only remedy seems to be video camera and upload from card; get enough money to buy one and start this process;
--Concert of Prayer - had 1 pastor friend of WV ask this week for my blog posts on Concerts of Prayer; new WV executive director has not responded with follow up for Concerts of Prayer to continue through 2020;

Prayer Email - Request
Greetings,
"And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that day thou seest my face thou shalt die." Exodus 10:28
"And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, . . . And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land. . . " Exodus 11:5-6
Monday night bible study at Keyser Church, we are going through Exodus 1 - 20. Covering the Exodus of Israel from bondage; the 10 plagues of Egypt and the 10 commandments. WE have covered the 9 plagues, its impact, significance and each one leading to the next deeper judgement. We are now here at the warning from God of what was coming for the 10th plague - DEATH.
Over 11 years ago, I walked through the "7 Levels of Judgements". Of what God had done, was doing and would do in seven levels of judgement upon who and where. I wish I could say, I fought for this with all my might to counter, to stop and hinder, but alas, how much my failure. I have been faithful to every directive to the Lord regarding Broken Before the Throne, and the 'calls to prayer'. But much more could have and should have been done. WE stand now at the point of death in our nation. The EPIDEMICS below have all skyrocketed, leading us into death, destruction and the devouring of a society, homes, hearts and future of our nation. All of this lies at the feet of the church - 'as the church goes, so goes the nation'.
Back in January, the Lord spoke again on 'cause them to know their abominations'. Almost like a final warning from the Lord, 'before I bring death, cause them to know why I am sending it.' Nashville tornado deaths, cancer deaths, great evil of homicides, suicides and murder-suicides, plus drugs and plagues upon us, sending men and women out of this world into eternity, largely most of them without Christ, and many not being reached sufficiently with the truth of the Gospel.
so here is my plea, here is my burden! God has placed upon me to wrestle in prayer against the evil, particularly of murder-suicides. We are currently for the first 65 days of this year at 94. Most of them domestic, many married couples, middle age or elderly. But the wake of big city, rural setting, children left behind, family scarred and left with no answers or how to deal with it. Every state hit with this 10th plague of DEATH. Its only a matter of time where every family, and church will or has dealt with cancer patients, treatments and death; with drug overdoses, addictions and death; and with these murder-suicides by members family members and friends and family of church members. It is upon us and growing faster than ever before.
This evil is upon us for our great abominations throughout our land, homes, hearts and churches. The call for prayer is not sufficient now, the call for confession, repentance of 'cause them to know their abominations' is needed. The death to self, sin and vows to live for Him is to be our plea. We are at the 10th plague, time is not a luxury, but it is imminent upon us for our end. And it may be in this last plague that the church finally humbles itself, forsake humanism, tradition and simply casts themselves wholly upon the Lord. To see empowered men/women and churches filled fresh with His Spirit as that which we have only read of, is so needed to stop this avalanche of God's judgement.
My last prayer email, I warned you that we was in a lull period of God's judgements, which comes from time to time. I believe God is reprieved for a season, for us to see what is happening, and why it is happening (abominations); His mercy is giving us time to respond. Our failure to respond, increases to these EPIDEMIC levels. I have no understanding of why church and prayer leaders do not see this or understand this. but it is ever so important that they lead the people to the throne of God. Quickly that lull period was shattered with Nashville tornado, work place mass murder (which also was a murder-suicide); and the spread of and death within the US of corona virus.
AS Moses said to Egypt and Pharaoh, 'how long will you continue to disobey the Lord?" It is the same plight we are in now. Oh, for a heart and soul of God's people to meet Him with humility, brokenness and contrition; for brethren, the 10th plague is here, and the death angel is at the door. And even though, many of us are ready for death, our loved ones and nation is not.
The hour is late, the need is great; pray so as to prevail.
