Greetings,
"Come. . . call. . . gather. . and cry unto the Lord" Joel 1:13 - 14
"Call a solemn assembly. . . gather. . . assemble" Joel 2:15 - 16
On April 25 -26, 2020, "A Call for a Solemn Assembly" will be live streamed and held for two days. It is to draw us together before the Lord to hear from Him. It is an historic time, it is a Divine time; 'for such a time as this' we are in ministry, alive and desiring to hear from the Lord and obey the Lord. The instructions of Joel is quite clear; yea it is for government leaders as well as spiritual leaders. That is the reason it is not called 'A Solemn Assembly'; but it is issuing a call for one. This call is to prepare the spiritual leadership of the North American church to obey the call to come together, to gather, to assemble and cry out to the Lord. These two days together, is to fulfill 3 parts of prayer:
--Worship - to know God;
--Confession - cause them to know their abominations;
--Petition/Supplication/Intercession - for the current plague; for lost souls; for the nation(s); and for the church and our Lord's kingdom's purpose and will to be done;
Time: Saturday, April 25 we will begin broadcasting at 9 AM (EST); broadcast will be on Saturday, 9 AM - 9 PM. It will be three session of:
--Morning session - 9 AM - Noon;
--After session - 1 PM - 4 PM;
--Evening session - 6 PM - 9 PM;
Sunday, April 26:
Morning session will be asking participants to join their respective church families via live stream;
Resuming at 1 PM (EST) - 4 PM;
--Evening session - 6 PM - 9 PM;
Conclusion;
Speakers from across North American church body will be leading us in the 3 focuses points of prayer. They will bring the Word of the Lord through preaching/teaching and then leading us in prayer times. They will each have 1 and 1/2 hours for their respective time.
There are 3 things that are being asked of you for these 2 days.
1. Pray - let your prayer partners be aware of this live stream; Ask them to pray over the many aspects in such an undertaking of: speakers; broadcast technical issues; obedience from the church; and God's Divine word to be heard;
2. Promote - at this point, we are asking of you to promote on your social media platforms, pages, emails, and websites; Let them know of this time and encourage them to join you in joining us for these special days of instruction and prayer.
3. Participate - during these days of isolation, quarantine and numerous live streams being broadcast, it is easy to 'float' across the internet; to get on a broadcast for a few moments and then move on; never really devoting oneself to participate. We are asking you to set aside these two days to join us and stay with us throughout to pray via live stream, like the church never has before. A time that has been ever so needful, but not fully acted on. With many calls and broadcast, participate with you 'whole heart, mind and soul'.
Obey the call, respond to this invite and prepare yourself and your people to join us for 'A Call for a Solemn Assembly".
